    Norton Privacy Monitor identified Peoplewhiz as a data broker website that contained my information. In an attempt to remove my information from this website, I discovered that the opt-out process requires the submission of a photo ID. I am not comfortable providing additional personal information to an entity that I don't want to have any of my information. I have a profile on this website and I want to have this removed.

In your case, I do not get any returns for *********************** in ***************, **. If you can help by providing a screenshot of the listings you need removed and we will taken down ASAP.     I am filing a complaint for peoplewhiz to stop selling my personal information. I attempted to opt out through their website and yet they request a copy of my drivers license to proceed. I am requesting my information is deleted from your database immediately without providing a copy of my license.

    I found that peoplewhiz has my information and tried to request it to be deleted. They are asking me to upload a photo of my ID which I am not comfortable providing. I have been able to delete my information from other similar websites without providing an ID. I would like to have my information deleted without providing my ID.

    PeopleWhiz is requesting the copy if my ID to remove my private information from their database. I see others have complained about this and peoplewhiz tells them to ignore the email. How about when they ask straight from the website without even sending an email? Until when is this going to go on?

    There was nowhere to opt-out. There was no such a link on the webpage. I was aware of that the opt-out, I had read about it on the internet. I was using a new android phone and the chrome browser.

    It is ridiculous that a data brokerage website that has my personal information for sale, as determined by my privacy monitoring software, is requiring a copy of my driver's license to remove my information that I did not consent to be posted publicly with no other alternative request to remove. Please complete my request to remove my profile.

    December 22, 2023 My Norton Private Security software informed me that Peoplewhiz.com has gathered my personal data and it is selling it for their own profit. I went to Peoplewhiz site to request Op Out of their practices with my personal records and I found out that for them to accept my Opt Out request from their records they want me to attach a personal ID, i.e, driver license, SS, personal photos, etc. They are a data collection company and yet they ask for more private information to Op out of their data gathering...? Unbelievable! This is an incredibly deceiving way to do business, hence my complain to BBB.Please, request this organization to remove my personal data out of their files and stop collecting my records in the future. Also, please ask them to confirm request in writing.I can see from previous complaints to BBB that I am not the first and only person upset by their business practices.Thank you.

    I kept finding charges for ****** services, to which I had a few subscriptions it was utterly impossible to locate what the charges were so I canceled all services, but this ***** charge kept appearing. I called ****** and after an hour we find PeopleWhiz was charging me through a credit card that was just virtual with no three digit code. Somehow this company gained access to my account and I complained this was fraud. They claim I used the service to look up my own name and no other usage. They refused to refund me and acted like there was no issue. Avoid this company and look over your statements, they are likely used by hackers. I suffered ID theft and now this pops up, I suspect this was part of my ID theft. The company often does not reply or provide information to file a complaint.
