    I have just been made aware that my personal information is being sold on peoplewhiz.com and I do not agree to have my information publicly sold or accessible. When I went to opt out the company did not simply take my information down instead they requested more information in the form of my current id. I do not trust this website. I dont know where my information will end up. I want my information removed and to opt out without giving up more information. This company needs to accept my right to opt out and take my information down immediately.

    Company is selling my personal information, when asked to remove it they want even more information in the form of a copy of my driver's license. There is no need for this as all other companies of this type have no problem removing records without.

We can go ahead and remove your listing without needing to provide ID, however we are not getting any returns for your first name, last name, city and state.     I am trying to remove my name and personal information from peoplewhiz and they are requiring me to submit a photo ID. I am not comfortable giving my photo ID to a random database aggregator.     My Norton scan identified PaopleWhiz as exposing my information on the internet. I completed their opt out instructions but it requires you to upload your id. Why would you require information that contains PII information. I did it to ensure my opt out was completed but I am very uncomfortable that a business that sells PII data then requires you upload id that contains, name, address, birth date, your driver license number that are enough information for it to be used fraudulently. Why is this even allowed to happen. Other sites that I had my information removed never required me to upload an ID. I submitted the opt out request for myself and my wife. It is very disconcerting that this is one of the only sites I've come across that requires an upload of id.
