Subco signed me up for multiple magazine subscriptions without my knowledge. I called to confirm that it was them who signed me up. I must cancel with Subco directly to make it stop. Please cease mailing me any magazines and delete my information from your records. I have no idea how they got it, but I understand they're sending these as "promotional materials". Subco is a heinous third party company that pushes collections on peoples credit. They get your name and address to subscribe to magazines -and these magazine companies love to get third party info because their dying companies- no one reads magazines!!! How is it not illegal to use someone else’s information?? They don’t charge you but instead send in a lump sum to the debt collectors to suck you dry when you literally threw every raggedy magazine in the trash
We’ve repeatedly called and asked to get off the subscriptions they say oh you won’t get anymore and low and behold we do get more!!! Beware of these evil people- they have NO morals or remorse — they are SCUM- BBB you are tripping for giving them an A rating —all of you are scammers trying to take away from us hard working people.
My layer is sending a registered letter to subco this week- see you in courtBusiness Response

Today I received five separate magazines that I've never signed up for nor have I purchased anything recently to warrant any of these magazines. I am physically trying to contact all of the magazines and a lot of them say that it was through a third-party company called SUBCO. I am a 38-year-old woman with a disability and mostly work from home. I would never read essence, travel and leisure, Harper's Bazaar, Elle or Elle Decor. It is ridiculous that I have to cancel individual subscriptions for something that I never purchased.Business Response

All of a sudden I started receiving magazine subscriptions. This company ordered subscriptions in my name. I have not heard of this company nor did I give them permission to do this. When I called these magazine companies to tell them stop the magazines I didn’t order them. They told me they couldn’t and Subco did it. This is illegal you’re posing as me and using my good name/ credit to purchase things I don’t want or agreed to. Unsubscribe me from all the magazines you subscribed me to without my permission!Business Response

this is a company that somehow unknowingly gets people to opt into magazine subscriptions. I have no ida how or where this happened. We randomly started receiving at least two magazines a month ago in my husband's name (so far Fortune and Elle have randomly shown up in our mail and I an mot sure how many others are on the way). We did NOT knowingly subscribe to ANY MAGAZINES. When I called Fortune Magazine subscriptions center they told me that the subscription was created by a company called Subco (subco.com) and I was not able to cancel through Fortune as it was made by a 3rd party vendor. We have never even heard of Subco before. I was told by Fortune that we were charged 20$ back in January but they could not tell me about any other magazine subscriptions. I have called the phone number listed on the Subco website 1-800-******** 3 times and been hung up on. I requested a call back through the automated service and no one has called. I was directed by the phone automated options to text the same number and no one has responded. I have emailed them as well with no response. This is clearly a fraudulent scam.Business Response

I’ve received two copies of Women’s Health magazine out of no where. I contacted WH about this and they informed me the subscription was through Subco. I’ve never even heard of subco, so I have no idea how they got my information. I’ve looked through all my emails and I have absolutely nothing from them. I’m somehow being charged $10 from a company I’ve never heard of for a subscription I’ve never set up. I need my money back, the account gone, and I’d like to know how my information got to them in the first place. This is really troubling.Business Response

A company called SUBCO is sending me magazines. I never subscribed to these magazines. I have sent a request for cancellation and a full refund. This kind of activity should be considered illegal and they should be shut down. No one buys magazines. I am a 49 year old male.
