1 starI canceled my Beach Body subscription on April 14th 2023 with a phone call. Two months later I was charged $197.35. I called, emailed and texted noting this issue and requested a refund. I am being stonewalled. I have screenshots of my texts with a customer service ********** are refusing to give my money back. This is very sad because it WAS highly likely that I would have signed up for another program as soon as this was resolved and there is no way I will do so now. I will also make sure everyone I know, that I coach and work out with, know what you do so that they can protect themselves from this kind of predatory business practice. Please refund my funds. 1 starThis company does business by shady autorenewal increase charges, without customer consent. Watch out for unauthorized charges without your consent. Will never do business with them again. They refuse to reverse the increase charges upon request, that tells the story right there. Just look at the company review rating says it all. If they had any business sense they would refund people whom did not receive the increase notification and took action.Beachbody, LLC

5 starsI've been a loyal customer for over 15 years since they started. I'm old. I started with their VHS tapes. They haven't been perfect along the way but they've always fix any mistake or problem I had. Back in the *** era, they even sent me new *** when mine got scratched even though it was my fault. I've read other reviews about not being able to cancel. I've been charged for things I thought I canceling but they always refund me with a simple phone call which you can find by googling FAQ Beachbody.Review fromEmma S

1 starAbsolutely criminal. I had turned off auto-renewal on my account, but was still charged for an annual membership. Not only that, but the membership fee practically doubled. I received no email notification for any of this. I tried to log in to my account to see what was going on, only to be denied access for incorrect password (despite having it autofill). I cannot contact customer support without logging in first, and I cannot log in because it doesn't recognize my information.Beachbody, LLC

1 starI purchased a new tablet for my bike because the current tablet couldnt stay connected to the internet for the duration of my workout. After 2 weeks with the new tablet, I still couldnt keep the tablet connected to the internet long enough for a 30 minute workout. I decided to return the new tablet and now have been fighting with Beachbody customer service to return the tablet. Every time a ticket is raised I get a random response, after 48 hours, saying they are sorry but no instructions on how to return the tablet for a refund. They even claimed to forward me to someone at Beachbody to resolve the issue and promised the Beachbody service team would expedite the refund. No calls and the person at Beachbody sounded just like the original person that picked up the call. They should not be selling tablets that do not work, the hardware is obsolete. I want my refund and BBB should shut them down.Beachbody, LLC

1 starI canceled my BB subscription in June 2021 and received a confirmation of cancelation from an official Team BeachBody email. However, I was charged $134.47 on my credit card in May 2022. I emailed the same address that had confirmed my cancelation and requested that they confirm the cancelation and issue a refund. I followed up 5 days later, and got no response.Now, they've charged $242.95 to my credit card in May 2023. I emailed again, and again received no response. I've had to file a chargeback with my credit card company.Don't give these people your credit card information. Clearly, they cannot be trusted with it.Beachbody, LLC

1 starI previously had Beachbody, but canceled it last year and turned off Auto-Renew, but apparently that doesn't turn off auto-renew because they charged by card $200 - 3 days ago and refuse to refund the funds back to my account. 1 starI have had BeachBody for the past three years and agreed to be on an auto subscription at $89-$99 renewing each March. I used to get an email explaining that it was time to renew, etc - but this year I didn't get one. I checked my credit card statement and they had auto charged me (on a card with a new expiration date that I'm not even sure how they got access to b/c all of my other auto-renews had to be updated by ME) $191 I did not agree to $191, I would never had agreed to that much for an online workout portal. I am infuriated. The company DID say they would give me a full refund, but only because I caught it within 30 days of the auto-renew. I think this is slimy. I assume I'll get my money back, but if not, I'll contest the charges with my credit card company. But I want to warn others - if you were on Beachbody auto-renew, they are NOT doing their due diligence to notify you of a 100% increase and they are not going to be helpful if you have been charged more than 30 days. Check your credit card statements, because this is a nasty practice they have going on.Beachbody, LLC

1 starI have been a loyal beachbody customer since the original P90 came out which was pretty much the beginning of beachbody. I can even remember getting a code to sign up for a lifetime membership to the team beachbody website way back when they had the **** gym, message boards, and exclusive recipes for their members. As a result, even when the platform changed and **** became *** and message boards were obsolete, I still kept my membership. I purchased several programs, dvd and ********** sold all my dvds because when it switched over to *** I was told I would ALWAYS have the digital versions of what I purchased no matter what. I loved beachbody; its where I found my love of working out and being healthy. Since they have changed over to ***I, I no longer have access to anything including the programs that I purchased. To be honest, I dont care that they are trying to promote health esteem with the name change and are trying to include different things like livestream classes, bike classes, etc. However, not everyone wants those things. They should have kept the memberships separate. Those who wanted all the things could do both memberships. Those who only wanted the various programs (mbf, 21 day, 10 rounds, etc) could keep the *** membership. Why should I pay $179 when I will never use the extras that they have added. I dont even want the stupid super blocks. I can go to the gym and pay $120 a year and still have all those things. The only caveat is I would have to drive there as opposed to doing the workouts at home whenever I want. They have lost several loyal customers, and the sad thing is, I doubt they even care. Companies are so money hungry instead of being focused on what their lifelong, loyal customers want. I get businesses need money to operate, but there also needs to be a balance. So long ***I; you have lost a lifelong customer. Not that you care. I will make sure to let everyone I know just how greedy and uncaring you are to your lifelong customers.
