1 starI wish I would have read all the reviews because it is the worst mistake switching. Onboarding is great but after that its crickets. You get no response from anyone. Too many issues we are having and no resolution.Review fromLucy P

1 starTebra (Former Kareo) used to be a great company when we started with them over 15 years ago. Now the customer service is just horrible. No follow **** can't get though to a supervisor or a person in charge. **************** agents are often incompetent or even rude. The billing software is great but the service has become one of the worst I have encountered.Review fromreynw y

1 starI have been working with Tebra for 6 months now. The service has been less than stellar. I am trying to get out of my contract. I have been ghosted, and all the emails sent to me are "no reply" emails. I am at a loss for what to do next. I want to be done with them.

1 starI've had Tebra for about 1 year and their customer service is the worst I've ever encountered. No phone calls, pass the ***** no solutions. I run a family medical practice and was told our Tebra Payment compliance needed updated. We confirmed that we were using Tebra pay because it sounded foreign to me and the office management team. In order to reach compliance, they turned off our credit card processing ability to be "scanned." Now, not only can they not turn it back on, but we weren't using Tebra Pay in the first place. We're literally losing hundreds to thousands of dollars daily in co-pays and bill payments. I was told it could take 48hrs to investigate but they were not sure what was wrong or how to fix it. This is one of many issues I've had from data migration to billing compliance.

1 starI signed up for services with Tebra, hoping to get customized support for my Concierge medical business, but unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing from the start. When I first spoke with the representative, I was told my services could be tailored to meet my specific business needs, and I would receive training and ongoing support. My staff and I sat on a few training calls, and we all knew this service would not work for the business. The trainer could also not figure out how to make my business model or customization work. The trainings were not completed, nor did I use any of their services. I have been billed monthly for nearly a year. I tried to cancel or at least not have to pay for the entire 14 months, but to no avail. Secondly, I recently ( Sept 29, 2025 ) received a notification that an A2P compliance fee would be billed to my account. Again, explaining that I have never used the service, I will not be signing anything approving this charge. My new bill came out, and behold, the " Telecom Messaging Compliance (A2P) " fee is being charged to my account. I never opened the email or approved anything. I was told by a representative, everyone gets charged for this; maybe they do, but I did not, and will not sign anything referencing this fee. I believe the company misrepresented what they offer, their capabilities, and did not provide the value promised. I hope this review helps others make more informed decisions. I'm still waiting to resolve this matter fairly.

1 starThe salesman lied to me to get me to sign a contract. I specifically asked if there was a cancellation fee and this was denied by their salesman ****** *******. Of course, I could not reach him when I realized the shell game, and it took a month of attempts via telephone and support requests to reach someone in customer service. They refuse to acknowledge that I've even reported the fraud, and are constantly harassing me with multiple emails and phone calls. They refused to stop the recurring payments, so I had to cancel my credit card to stop the fraudulent charges, and block the phone numbers and emails to stop the harassment. I will be reporting this to the *** as well.

1 star******!The company is very cunning and not reliable.I initially signed up for the service few years prior under the company name Kareo which was later acquired by Tebra. Under Kareo, I had agreement to be able to submit patient billing claims without any limit which was later confirmed by a Tebra senior account manager via email. However, lately Tebra all of sudden changed their policy without any prior notice and would not honor their prior agreement. Probably Tebra feels that all my staff are used to using the Tebra software, the company believe they can jack up the subscription price. Now I regret that I started doing business with Kareo / Tebra.I hope this review helps ***************** to traps like myself,

1 starI was using Tebra for my rehab practice for 15 months. After deciding to close my practice, I requested to close my account. I was informed that my contract "auto renewed" the month before (no notification prior to this happening). I was informed that the early cancelation policy is that you have to pay for the full 14 months, which is in fact a no cancelation policy. Of course the service representative can't tell me what is the justification for 14 month auto renewal. Seems to be quite a scam they've worked out, and seems like the kind of thing class action lawsuits are made of.

1 starAbsolutely and overwhelmingly incompetent. It takes week to get any help from the support teams and if they actually do anything other than just claim they can't fix the problem it is barely a solution or even acknowledgement of the issue. The platform works about half the time, if you decide to leave for another platform they'll keep your ****** Business Profile essentially hijacked unable to remove your Tebra link. This is truly one of the worst companies I have ever had the displeasure of working with and we strongly encourage anyone looking at Tebra for their EMR to look at literally any other option.
