      Arlo cameras were the worst purchase, between cameras that fail to charge properly after only three months, I have purchased both the 3&4 pro with continuous battery charging problems on both models. **************** is the worst, basically nonexistent, online correspondence just sends you in circles with their b.s answers. Problems with the system logging you out all the time will drive you crazy, the base station needs rebooting every couple of days, no its not our connection or modem, been through all that. Do yourself a favor and skip over buying this junk!

      I got an email and decided to upgrade with the promotion code. I purchased 7 cameras on 3/26/23. I got a confirmation email and shortly after an email that said I needed to contact customer support for more info. After over 4 hours on the phone my order was declined by Arlo My order declined by Arlo but Arlo had taken the money from my account. I was told to re order and my money would be refunded in 3-5 days. I was told it was declined because my location that I ordered from didn't match my home address. I skeptically re ordered and the same exact thing happens. Now I'm out $1300 for the next 3-5 business days and don't have an order. As a customer you are completely helpless to the generic customer service in *****. So far I feel like this is a scam.

      TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE customer service. I couldnt get a phone number so I went to the chat option. Got a bit which was totally useless and a big waste of my time. Asked to chat with a real person. Was connected to someone in a different country apparently. I didnt ask they just informed me of this. They were absolutely no bell whatsoever. They asked me to give them 24 hrs to resolve my issue and they would answer me by email. 24 hrsno response, nothing resolved. Refuse to give me a number to call so I can get my issue fixed in 10 minutes instead of hours on their app and chat with no solution. We were going to order more cameras but I will get something else since they dont support their products.

      Great cameras! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND INTERFACE. (YES. I am YELLING) I have tried for 4 years off and on to add my wife to my account. It is like Ground Hogs Day! Nightmare.

      They sell you their products and so-called "SERVICE," but there is no customer service. There is NO WAY to contact a live person. They offer NO working customer support phone number. They want you to use their chat for support, but you are communicating with a robot that does not have the capability of helping you with specific issues. Our cameras stopped recording and they are still expecting payment from us. We have tried to reach out to them several ways and NOTHING. They sell you their cameras and "FAKE SERVICE" and then you hear nothing more from them. They don't even offer monthly invoicing that you can submit to your accounting **** for payment. It is the most bizarre way of doing business. I WOULD NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES, EVER! This is a scam company. I didn't want to even give them one star, it should be negative stars.

      Arlo all of a sudden decided to start charging me after buying their products and being a customer and advocate for 3 years. So now I have had to spend as much money on subscriptions as I did on the product. I would go with a system that doesnt bait and hook you like Arlo!

      I received a 3 pack of Arlo ****p wireless spotlight cameras for Xmas through Best Buy . I setup the system a few days after Xmas. The setup went easy but one of the cameras had a battery that discharged within 5-6 days . I contacted Arlo support and was basically told they would do nothing . I believed there should be an intended use consideration but not at Arlo . I contacted Best Buy and their excellent ************ team exchanged the defective camera for a new one with no charge . Best Buy has wonderful customer service .I spent over 15 hours (52 attempts ) trying to setup the new camera without success and contacted Arlo again for assistance . They tried to assist and together we tried another 3 or 4 attempts without success . Arlo support basically Gave Up . At this point my appreciation for Arlo support is non-existent. I continued myself this time using my laptop browser and had success after 2 attempts .I updated my casefile with Arlo informing them I was finally able to connect , and requested an extension to my trial as i only had full access to the trial for 34 of 60 days . Again Arlo refused even after they GAVE UP on my case stating I had used over 50% of my trial SYNOPSIS A) Arlo support ***** . Most support staff have heavy accents making understanding difficult and Arlo has minimal Customer Focus B) the ***** product is ok and does the job but I think 2K or 4K would be better .C) if you have problems connecting or re-connecting , consider using web browser in addition or instead of the Arlo app AND perform a factory reset on camera each time you attempt connecting D) You can only access Arlo on the phone during your trial , or if you're using their subscription support.E) their costs for subscription are very high. F) recommend buying a hub for local storage due to high costs .I will not go back to Arlo after it reaches it's lifetime .(maybe before) VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE LACK OF SUPPORT AND CUSTOMER FOCUS.

      Buyer beware. Arlo fails to support their products. Most replacement items such as batteries are not available and constantly on backorder, but even worse they do not offer the ability to pre-order, so you're at the mercy of first come first served beating you out for limited stock. You end up paying a subscription service for an inoperable product. ********************** on Arlo.

      I have the same issue as ****************** (3/15/23) I was told my camera were going *** and that 7-day free cloud recordings woud continue for existing customers. Arlo did extend the free cloud recordings for the *** cameras, but only after I had bought 2 essential cameras to replace them. After the trial period, the essential cameras no longer save recordings on the cloud. I called arlo support and they basically said the 7-day free cloud recording would not apply the the replacement cameras, AND since it had been more than 30 days, they would not let me return the cameras. I explained that I felt that I had been mislead by the statement of Arlo CEO ************************* "Users who currently have 7-day storage service will continue to receive that service uninterrupted"The new cameras are now paperweights at best and I will no longer be recommending but discouraging anyone from purchasing any Arlo products.
