      First and foremost, an a+ rating on here is ridiculous. I read through so many unhappy customers online there is no way they have an a+ rating unless it's from fake reviews. And I am one of those extremely unhappy customers. I bought a four camera package from ***** club with high hopes. It did not say anywhere on the package that there would have to be a costly monthly subscription. My past cameras cost around 10 bucks a month, which is very affordable. So right there should be a lawsuit because they did not disclose subscriptions are required or else your cameras are basically paperweights because they cannot record anything you cannot add memory to it so they're essentially worthless without a subscription. And the subscription is $30 a month. And the cameras choose when they feel like recording stuff and will skip people coming in and out of my front door all the time. Not only that the sound on these recordings is so bad so staticky and horrible I can't hear what people are saying right underneath the camera. The cameras are junk the subscription is ridiculous because I'm paying to give access to their employees and I don't want their employees to have access to my cameras. No privacy. No reason why it will record only half the time, when I have it set to record until the movement or action ceases it will only record 13 seconds of it and then it doesn't start back up again it's pretty much a useless system and I am regretting buying it I'm trying to sell it right now online because I want to buy something else. I wasted my money I hope this review prevents anybody else from wasting their money too Arlo is junk. Oh and customer service is horrible too. They have not been any help and that's why I'm writing this review

      Arlo has the worst customer service. It took me leaving a poor review for them to contact me in the first place. They worked on my problem for 6mons. They said it was fixed but as soon as the subscription, I was giving on a temporary basis, ended so did the fix they said would work. So tired of playing these games with a company I thought cared about their costumers. Boy was I wrong.

      Was told i didnt need a subscription but when my trial period ran out i now have no access to my cameras which i purchased and was told many times i could use them without a subscription. All false niw i hace equipment tgat are worthless.

      I have had ARLO cameras and doorbell for a few years. I make extra payments to notify me if a person or animal is at the door. Also I was able to have a customer service Rep *** We chat with me and also speak on the phone. But now is not letting me chat telling me I do not qualify for a call or chat assistance that I need to enroll in some program.Well I have tried to login my ARLO APP but the email on my account is no longer valid. The phone number is not active so I have no way to communicate with ARLO I am not getting emails to the new email I chose to update password/email. Arlo ph# on my billing is outbound calls only. I email arlo but no response. The chat ai sends me the same information to go to my arlo settings support... HOW CAN I If I cannot login at ALL! I need to speak with a REAL PERSON. My bill is REAL.

      I would give them zero stars if I could. I have used Arlo for over 8 years now. The first ones I had lasted 7 years. 6 months ago I purchased brand new four pack of the solar panel ones. Only one works now. The other three are useless and will not charge. Being I have used arlo's for so long. It used to be free up until five cameras for videos and recording. Now it is $20 a month and I only have one camera. That is absolutely ridiculous. Technology has gone up. Arlo has gone tremendously down. I would not recommend them to anyone anymore.

      I had purchased Arlo Pro cameras years ago and they were wonderful. I recommended them to my sister. I purchased 3 Essential *** 2 cameras for her and 4 for myself, due to these having a light on them. Before I ordered, I checked that we would not need to purchase "a plan". After the trial we could not get recordings on the feed. I contacted Arlo and after hours of waiting to speak to someone, I was told that getting a hub would allow me to use the *** to record locally and view the videos on the app. This did not work and after 12 hours of trying to fix it (with an agent) it still does not work. Arlo stopped responding to my chat and I have waited for phone calls from support that never came. I believe that they don't know how to fix this and therefore become unresponsive. I told them that I wanted my money refunded and they said it was past the trial period, so no refunds. What they don't tell you is that after your trial is over and you realize that you cannot use the cameras without a plan, you are stuck with useless equipment. Looking at the reviews I am not the only customer that had this problem.

      Ive tried for two days to access my account and it keeps going to a verification page and then nothing! I called the number listed and had to deal with someone in *****, not surprised, who was going to sell me a package for more than what is listed on their website. I asked about the discount I was supposed to get and he told me this is the price. When I asked to speak to someone in ******* (3 times), he put me through to the floor supervisor, still in *****. And he started out with an attitude! I still cant get into my account and no one there will answer my questions. Pretty useless for customer service!

      Arlo cameras are junk that I bought in 2024. I should have went and bought ring cameras I made a mistake again :-(

      The absolute worst camera system I have ever had. Paid an unbelievable amount for cameras that do not work. Also paid for a subscription that I was never able to use and was not refunded for any of it. Very poor system, I would not recommend to anyone. **************** is not helpful and you spend hours on the phone or messaging a bot, and still get no answers or help. Just awful!!!!!!!!
