    I am filing this complaint due to Aviras repeated failure to honor my cancellation requests, continued lack of response, and persistent attempts to charge my account despite clear instructions to stop.I contacted the company multiple times regarding case #REMOVED, explicitly requesting that my account be cancelled. Despite these efforts, Avira has failed to acknowledge or process the cancellation and has provided no meaningful REMOVEDaddition to ignoring my cancellation requests, Avira has repeatedly attempted to charge me $109.99 for a service I no longer want and have formally requested to terminate. The billing attempts were so persistent that I was forced to update my credit card number solely to prevent further unauthorized or unwanted charges. This action should not be required of a consumer who has clearly requested cancellation.Despite these steps, I continue to receive persistent and unwarranted emails regarding a declined payment, which are both intrusive and inappropriate given the circumstances. These communications continue even after multiple requests for cancellation and cessation of contact.Aviras failure to respond, process the cancellation, halt billing attempts, or stop automated communications demonstrates poor customer service practices and disregard for consumer rights. This situation has caused unnecessary stress, disruption, and loss of time attempting to resolve an issue that should have been handled promptly and professionally.I am requesting that Avira:Immediately cancel my account Cease all billing attempts, including the $109.99 charge Stop all further emails and communications related to payment Provide written confirmation that the account has been fully terminated I am submitting this complaint after exhausting reasonable attempts to resolve the issue directly and am requesting BBB assistance to ensure this matter is resolved without further delay.

    I was charged for a service with Avira which i was told would be cancelled. Eventually after trying for 2 weeks straight i was given a partial refund. That is not my concern. The main concern here is when i then attempted to remove avira from my computer, my computer crashed and got the blue screen of death (windows). I was eventually able to revert back to a much older restore point, however avira is magically still on my computer and i am unable to remove it. Now, ironicaLLY, it actually is hidden so when i go to uninstall programs it does not even show up! My computer has constantly been crashing, and has not worked even close to the same as before i used their program. I just want my computer to go back to how it was before they infected it.
