1 starBought a Sportsman with the advertisement saying the grill came with Bluetooth. After multiple attempts of talking to staff, I was told I dont have Bluetooth with my grill and they want to charge me for making the upgrade. This is bait and switch and false advertising . They refuse to live up to their own word and will not fix their own product.Dansons

1 starBought a portable Country Smoker for the *** While doing the initial burnoff, which is recommended before use, it was obvious there were problems. Called customer service and got a very nice gentleman who sent me out a new control panel at no cost. I installed the panel without a problem BUT still had issues with temps all over the place. Called again and when I asked for a refund and label to return it I was told "We don't do that". After close to 30 minutes of the run around and me getting VERY angry I was finally given to a supervisor, ******, who tried to give me the same song and dance. BUYER BEWARE! If you perform the initial burnoff ( again, as is recommended before use) then they consider it as USED and therefore cannot be returned. They explained to me that the ONLY way I could return it was in its original condition and in its original box. If I had NOT done the initial burnoff as instructed on page 13 of the owners manual, I would NEVER have known there was a problem with the unit. So now I have a massive piece of unusable c*** that I was stupid enough to pay for and think that I was buying from a company that would stand behind their product. There is no resolution to this problem for me except a full refund which I can never get. NOT interested in speaking to ANYONE at Dansons because I've had ENOUGH of the run around. Thanks for nothing ******. You get 0 star rating from me.Dansons

1 starBrought a pit boss pellet grill.Grill was a dud never could maintain heat. Called customer service got the run around for 2 hours. Grill less than 60 days old. Would not recommend them unless you like wasting money and time.Dansons

1 starI have been dealing with warranty issues for the last 4 years, the grill has melted off all of the paint, silicone and they just keep sending me the same motherboard and parts. Now at my expense they wants me to replace all of the silicone and paint, Ive had no less then 30 phone calls and different diagnoses from customer service. They have blamed me for everything and one tech will tell you to move this and another one will tell you to move it back. To say that this has been frustrating is an understatement. The grill was not built properly and was missing key components. They treat you like an idiot if I could give less then 1 star that would be great.Review fromCarlton C

1 starI purchased a Pitboss Laredo **** grill from ******* recently. Since day 1, the grill has worked terrible. It takes at least 60 minutes to heat to 350 degrees. Sometimes longer. Drops temperature often, by quite a bit (50 degrees or so). I called their customer support, and spoke with an agent (who was actually very nice) who admitted there was a problem. He sent me a new control board. It did not fix the problem, so I called back. Different agent. This time they had me take pictures of the grill to give to them in email. They made sure I was following recommended start up procedure. When it was determined I was, and they ran out of ideas, they gave up and said it was normal because it is a big grill. They refused to help any further. They didnt say this at first. They were troubleshooting as if it IS a malfunction. This grill is not much bigger than my Pitboss 820D, which takes less than 10 minutes to heat up. I reported the issue on their website forum, and my experience with their customer support. They deleted my message and banned me on there (never said anything bad at all). So I reported it on their ******** They blocked me there as well. I basically tried to explain on ******* that I believe the problem is the software that the grill uses. It does not pull pellets often enough. MANY people on the web are complaining about the same issue. Apparently Pitboss/Dansons feels at that point they have your money, and you cant do much about it. Definitely a company to steer clear from. Very arrogant after the sale. If they dont know what the problem is, its normal and go away. All I wanted was for them to acknowledge the issue and perhaps work on a fix? $547 wasted.Review fromVincent C.

1 starThe Dansons Company has done nothing to resolve my issues with my brand new Grill I purchased. They just tell me the part has been ordered and will ship when it ships. Noone can give me any other info than that. I purchased this grill on 6-24-23 and called them on 7-1-23. They said my part will ship soon is all they keep telling me meanwhile no part has shipped for 10 days now. I highly recommend looking into another company to purchase a pellet grill from. Since they already got.my money now I'm just a problem.Dansons

1 starMy grill caught on fire, the paint on the inside was peeling off and wires melted and they want me to replace everthing myself. I told them I would send it back to them, "that is not how this works". They refused to make the repairs themselves or replace it. So add pellet grill repair man to my list. 1 starI ordered a Founders Legacy **** pellet grill and had it shipped to my house. The grill was dropped by ***** when I was not home and my housekeeper signed for it without me knowing, When I got home I discovered 2 big holes in the side of the box where it appeared to be hit by a forklift. I opened the box and discovered that the grill was dented and gouged deeply by the fork. This was in the barrel portion of the grill. I called Dansons and requested they send the grill back and refund my money as the shipping was delayed 2 weeks. They refused to take it back and told me that the damage was "cosmetic" and that is would not affect the operation of the grill! I was in disbelief that they wanted me to accept a damaged product after paying $2380 for it! They still are refusing to help me file a claim with ***** to ship it back. They said I would have to pay to ship it back to them if I wanted my refund! Worst customer service ever! Even ***** is trying to talk to them about filing the claim and they refuse to do it! 1 starThey kept my $1,100 for a grill that was never delivered. No refund and have to process fraud through the bank. The grill was ordered over 6 months ago, and they claim the grill that was never delivered was returned. Wish I saw these reviews before ordering. Theyre definitely a criminal enterprise aimed at stealing your funds.
