I ordered Boss hearing aids on Nov 20 for $89.97 order # ******. I immediately realized I did not use my discount code and canceled the order in a few seconds, I then reordered the hearing aids using the discount code and agreed to get the upgrade version for $136.37, order # ******. I received the order ******. I was charged for both orders on my credit card and have not received a refund for the $89.97. I sent them 3 emails and each time they replied that I would get my refund in a couple days. I also called them 2 times and got same answer that I should get the refund in 1 or 2 days. On 12/12/23, I ordered hearing aids. Bossa Hearing never shipped them. I canceled the order and asked for a refund. Over the last 1 1/2 weeks I have attempted to get a refund and they keep telling me it's being processed. Thank you for helping me get a refund.Business Response

On Nov. 8, 2023, I ordered the Bossa hearing aids and paid a total of $94.92 using my Discover credit card. I then decided to go with a different type and asked to cancel my order but it had already been sent. I was advised to refuse the order when it arrived. When they arrived at the end of November, I was not home so I took to the *********** the next day to mark the package Refused. I have been trying to get a refund ever since. I have been told several times that it should be within the next day or week. When I posted a complaint on their ******** add - they told me it would be done the next day - that was on December 25th. Purchased hearing aids online Sept 18, 2023. Received Oct 16. Tried them for a week and decided I did not like them. Contacted Bossa to return product and was given instructions. Packaged and returned by **** as instructed Oct 24. Bossa acknowledged receipt on 10/30. After two weeks, I inquired about my refund. They replied that **** days was normal but because they were busy, it would be more like 15 days. Every other week, I requested an update and received a polite reply. However, now after 2 full months, I still don't have a refund. A pdf of the email string is attached.Although the amount is not huge, under $100, I cannot be the only person that has requested a refund and that is waiting.Business Response

I returned hearing Aids to Bossa on Sept. 18th/23 and received confirmation from the company that they were received in the correct area on Sept. 20/23. Refund account no. ************** advised it takes ***** days for return of funds but allowed a little extra time as I am in ******.even though it didnt take any extra time for them to take the funds from my credit card? It has now been over 3 months plus and still ** funds returned!! I have contacted them at least weekly and am told the same thing every time.just be patient, or just give us a few more days, or I agree you should have your money by now and Ive escalated this many times. I have received only a Portion of my funds back!
There were 3 charges taken. From my credit card.$84.15.which was returned, $40.00 for an upgrade to the hearing aides.not returned, and $9.97, also not returned.
Unfortunately these charges were all U. S. Funds and when converted to ******** funds the loss is significant. I realize we have no control over this, but the exchange rate has changed significantly because of the time its taken to rectify this issue!

On 10.10.23 I purchased hearing aides from Bossa. They advertised a no-hassle return policy. After a few weeks I decided to return the merchandise and reached out to initiate the process. I sent the product back completely intact and working on 11.27.23 and was told it would take 10 to 15 business says. I have since reached out to inquire about the refund and have been getting a run-around answer.Business Response

I purchased 2 sets of hearing aids from Bossa hearing on 9/20/23. We received them on 10/16/23. They were bigger in size than advertised. I didn't even try them on. I sent them back the next day. I still do not have my refund and I have sent them over 18 emails. I get a response sometimes starting they will contact the support team and still no refund. Please help me get my refund back. Placed an order # ****** on 11/04/23 for 2 sets of TX-5 Mini (Full Pair) and 2023 TX-5 Mini PLUS (upgrade only). Received the order and husband tried one of the pairs for about 10 minutes. The 2nd box we never even opened. Total amount spent $174.20. Emailed them on 11/12/23 asking for a return number and they responded back same day that I had to call ************. I called and they tried like heck to get me to keep these and I told them my husband hated them and we would like to return. I received an email on 11/13/23 with how to return them. 11/15/23 shipped both sets back them with the tracking number and emailed them letting them know the info as well. Should have been delivered to them on 11/17/23 as I shipped it priority mail. After numerous emails inquiring about this return and my refund they said that they received it on 11/17/23 and the entire process takes ***** business days, not including weekends and holidays. Emailed them on 12/4/23 for status and was told process takes ***** business days. Emailed 12/13/23 and said it was already submitted to their billing ***** Emailed 12/18/23 looking for credit, their response was they will send note to their billing team to get resolved. Emailed 12/22/23 was told that if I had not received my refund she will escalate to the appropriate **** for resolution. Emailed 12/24/23 still no refund and was told the refund was already escalated and they will follow up. Emailed 12/27/23 and asked to whom did they escalate this to and that I would contact the BBB regarding not receiving my refund and that I wanted a call from someone as to why this is taking so long as I did everything that they asked me to do.We want our money refunded!Business Response

I purchased the Bossa Hearing Aids as a gift for my ************* but after opening the package and and setting up the product for use, what we found is that they were glorified amplifiers. There was no functionality and the volume control was worthless. They were not what was advertised. There is an adjustment period, so tried them for a few days. I decided to return them since they advertised if you are not completely satisfied you can return them. I kept all the packaging and placed it back in to the original packaging as it was provided. You were unable to request an RMA on line like most sites, they asked that you call. The reason was so they could up sell you to another version of a hearing aid that they claim was much better. I believe that is the one the advertised but i received this not so nice amplifier. I purchased it on order number #****** for a full return for TX-5 Mini at $89.97 and 2023 **-5 Mini Plus+ upgrade at $60.00 plus the priority shipping and tax in the amount of $169.13. The package was returned returned in full with everything in its original packaging as specified in you return policy. The purpose for the return is because it didnt meet product quality and hearing quality. Here is the email i sent them on October 16, 2023, the day i shipped the product "Please find this email as my official response for return of product meeting your return policy. A package was sent out today via **** with tracking number **** **** **** **** **** 24. Upon receipt of package and inspection, please credit my CC which was used to purchase this product." I have sent them numerous email and here is another on November 6, 2023 "I am following up on the return of product for a full refund. The hearing aid device was received by your team on October 20, 2023 at 1:35 pm. I am hoping that you have inspected the product and have forwarded to your financial team for a refund. Can you please provide me with a status of this refund request.". The customer service team keeps telling me to give them a chance and be patient . My last email was on December 14th, 2023 and I have yet to hear from them.Business Response

Good Morning,
After further review and deposit of refund to my account, I discovered that Bossa Hearing didn't refund the actual amount owed based on their policy. There policy states that if the item was returned within the given period and in its original packaging with a functionally working unit, they would refund the total amount less the $25 restocking fee. I checked my credit card account and discovered they only refunded me $63.45 on December 28, 2023, which is not the amount that i was charged. The total amount I paid was $169.13 which breaks down as TX-5 Mini at $89.97 + **-5 Mini Plus $60.00 + Tax. I would expect to see a refund of $144.13. How on earth did they come up with $63.45 I have no idea. Can you please re-open this complaint. Thank you for all that you have done to this point, because without out you I was getting anywhere.
