Called to request a refund. Sent item back to Bossa with tracking information. Called 2 weeks later and was informed I had to notify Bossa that I sent the item back, again and provide the tracking information again. Finally, received confirmation from an employee of Bossa that item was received in their warehouse on 12/01/23. Per their policy, refunds are processed with ***** business days. Called several times, was given the run around and was informed this would be escalated. Called again on 1/16/24 to be told again that they could escalate this issue. I reviewed with the rep of their policy of ***** days and she had no response. Refund is currently 32 business days past the date it was received/confirme in their warehouse. When I did not accept this as another brush off, I asked to speak to a member of management. The rep said I could either escalate the issue and wait for a call back or she could process the refund, finally. When I clarified if I could do both, she informed me I needed to pick one. Deceptive/fraudulent business practices within this organization. Looking at the reviews and complaints, there is a pattern of holding customers money until the customer threatens action and then, they finally provide a refund. item was shipped back and confirmed receipt by Bossa staff in their warehouse on 12/1/23. Per their policy, allow ***** business days to receive refund. 32 business days later, there is still no refund in my account.Business Response

This company has a very long track history of not refunding customers according to their own protocols/policies. Per their own policy sent in nearly every email, they ask the customer to allow ***** business to process a refund. Like my refund process, hundreds of other people are experiencing the exact same results. Often taking 2-6 months, or more to receive their refund, if, and only if they file a complaint with the BBB. Something has to change. Why are companies like Bossa allowed to hide behind policies/protocols when it is convenient and then completely ignore them when they choose not to follow them. I placed an order for a set of hearing aids from Bossa on 10/26/23. I finally received them on 11/17/23. I contacted them via email on 1/14/24 that one of them was no longer working and that I wanted to return them for a refund. They responded that their return policy was 45 days and that I had passed that and they could not refund my money. Their ads and website clearly state that they offer a 100 day return guarantee, and I was definitely in that time frame. I responded back to them this information and have not gotten any response from them.Business Response

This means,100-day return policy applies to orders placed on 7th onwards while 45-day return policy still applies to orders placed before 7th of January. I archived the email that was sent from Bossa with my order info. When I clicked view my order I then went to the bottom of the page and clicked Return Policy. In it, it states 100 day return policyNOT 45.Business Response

I understand how keen you are on this. However, just as advised, 100-day money back guarantee started last January 7, ****. All orders placed on that date onwards will have the updated return period. Your order was placed last October 2023 which the 45-day return policy still applies. If you have received our previous/old advertisements, you can see 45-day return policy being stated there.
You may see the updated return policy when checking the order online due to the recent changes made in the system, however, if it is placed before 7th of January, it will still have the 45-day return policy. I purchased a pair of the hearing devices for my 85 year old dad. They did not work for him, so I sent them back within the 45 day return policy (actually just a few days after we received them). I mailed everything back according to their instructions. I have made numerous email attempts since 10/27/2023 to get my refund. Each time I get a reply it basically says the same thing...that my refund is in process or some other excuse. On Oct. 16th, 2023, I placed an order for a pair of Bossa ProtonMax hearing aids but I ended up returning them and sent back everything but the correct charging block by mistake. Bossa received the return on Nov. 17th, 2023 and said that it could take up to 3 weeks to receive my refund. This is going on 8 weeks now and I still haven't received anything. I have spoken to an agent numerous times about my refund, that is how I learned about the charging block but they just said it would be a restocking fee of $25 and would come off of the refund amount. In November, I purchased hearing aids because they had a 100% refund policy. I tried the aids, they werent helpful and I carefully packaged the aids and sent them back. I have documentation that they received them. I have emails in which they promise my refund, but it is only stall tactics and no refund has been given.Business Response

I bought hearing aids in October and immediately returned them as they were not comfortable. I contacted Bossa and returned them within 3 days. Delivery was confirmed by them via email. Even though they promise refunds within 45 days, I have not received any refund. Ordered hearing aids from Bossa after receiving they did not fit. Contacted customer service to return they issued me an RA informed me I would have to return at my expense and provide a tracking number. Which I did and sent them back in November 2023 was told it would take a few weeks to process. I have sent several inquiries and keep getting the same message they are working on plus they continue to charge my credit card a monthly fee $ ***** for the warranty. It has been over 7 weeks and the refund for the hearing aids and the warranty fees have not been processed. I would like a complete refund for every ***** they have charged.Business Response

The charge was immediate why is it taking **** days for the credit to be issued. Original email when it was sent back in November said ***** days. This makes it over 55 days any other reputable business turns around a refund in ***** hours. Also what is the amount of refund it should include all of the warranty charges along with the product since none of the warranty charges have been refunded even though multiple emails claimed they were going to be.Business Response

I purchased a hearing aid from them on September 05, 2023, paying $210.70. I returned the hearing aid to them on September 27, 2023, and was promised a full refund. Not receiving the refund for which I have been pursuing them for 3 to 4 months I contacted the credit card company to dispute the charges. They are all unable to dispute since 90 days have passed I am requesting help from BBB to get me a refund amount owed to me by Bossa Hearing. Please note I received confirmation from them on December 28, 2023, that they had already worked don't this in their finance department and I should be seeing a refund on my credit card, but I have never received any refund and still keep getting answers when I call that they will check with their finance department and get back to me.
