1 starI wish I wouldve chided a different school. This school is completely unsympathetic to students financial situation. I initially enrolled and took all of the loans and Pell grant to cover cost of classes and some for living expenses. I regret that I lowered my work hours to 20 hours so that I can be able to work and go to school. You have to wait 5weeks or more to get your excess funds on top of that they hold your money and you cannot get your entire funds they decided to divide your excess funds in partial payments. I dont understand how they can do this with peoples loan money. The excuse they gave me was that the University decided to not give you your entire refund at once. This is just a pain for student who are in need and someone needs to get involved. Another thing is that they keep saying Im missing post but yet I post more than what is required every week. This school is just unbelievable. Please do not attend unless you dont have another choice. Their classes are absolutely overpriced. They rush to get you in and then leave you hanging once they get your loans.University of Phoenix

1 starThis school is a scam !! I started this program in April 2025. First course went great. Teacher was awesome and helpful. As for the second course, NSG 416, that teacher made it really difficult for me. It all started with this PowerPoint that she assigned. At first, she wanted it with audio recording on each slide, I did so and submitted it. She complained that the file Size was too large and recommended that I remove any pictures on my presentation which had none. So I tried recording my note faster to reduce the file size but to no avail, so I submitted again. She told me to reduce it even further, so I reached out to IT support. They did their best to compress the file, but still was unable to have it within the requested file size, so I submitted what I had. Then she suggested speaker notes after my third submission, so I complied and submitted for a fourth time. She then said it has to be 175 words on each speaker note per slide which increased my workload even further on top of what I already had, but I got it done and submitted for a fifth time. She then mentioned that I have to do the whole assignment over again because I shouldve used the provided scenario which was not stated in the assignment or rubric. At that point I invested 8 days into this one assignment and decided to cut my losses and fail this assignment because while all this was happening, I also had to complete multiple other assignments at the same time. I realized that I was never going to keep up if I kept running in circles with this teacher when she could have given me a list of criteria from the 1st submission. I ended up dropping this class after being told that I wouldnt have to pay for the full course, but got charged in full anyways. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL AT ALL. I REGRETTED TELLING MY COWORKERS ABOUT IT!Review fromJessica S

1 starComplete scam!!!! They somehow found a way to disperse funds on my federal student loan despite my having never registered for this school. A police report has been filed. We call the university and explain the situation but they wont freeze the account nor will they reroute disbursements to me. So the fraud continues and at this point I feel they are complicit in the scam!!!University of Phoenix

1 starWORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I am a current student and I have gotten my B.S. and am three classes from getting my masters but for the last 6 months they have been making it impossible to finish. I will never recommend this for anyone. Tired of the terrible education and all the money I have to pay for this terrible experience. But the help and support will always tell you that they understand. Even if they don't understand. They told me I was on probation but I didnt know this for almost a year. So i have to turn in a paper explaining why an assignment didnt get turned in. They have a ghost panel that keeps telling me they need more information. I have given them everything that they have asked for. But they want some information that has nothing to do with the issue. Wish I could go back in time and tell myself not to go with Phoenix.University of Phoenix

1 starThe school instructors purposely inform you you are doing well to get you to complete work after you do everything you are asked to correct only to fail you to charge you more money for the class. This could be because of the lack of online instructors to support the over ******* online students. They are fraudulently scamming students out of their money for lack of educational instructionUniversity of Phoenix

1 starI am pursuing a master's degree through the University of Phoenix, and it has been one of the most frustrating experiences. It started off with them attempting to use a guilt trip to persuade me into taking out an obscene amount of student loans although I did not need them. Then throughout the program continuously contacting me saying they did not have a voucher on file and had pulled me from my classes although I received an email from them that had the financial voucher attached to it days prior. Overall, I would save the trouble and pursue a degree through a different school.University of Phoenix

1 starIncapable of actually doing anything I complain several times that certain classes like there zy book were not compatible with my computer I even explained to them that the teacher was nice enough to actually to actually give the answer to the problem and still didnt take the answer. Instead of giving me a different class to complete they make me retake the same class I had issues in already know I could not finish it there answer are scripted when asked for help from the teacher because they themselves didnt even know the answers so *** net wants me to pay for a school loan for a fake schoolUniversity of Phoenix

1 starI'd give 0 stars if I could. I enrolled and started with 1 class, during week one I realized it wasn't for me and decided to drop and withdraw. It took them 2 weeks to even get the drop and withdraw to happen. Then I got notified that I'd still be responsible for paying the tuition. I literally attended 1 week and that's it. What a scam of a school! Fast forward a year later, I find out the used some of my Financial Assistance to pay for the course, filed taxes on it, and now submitted the remainder to collections!University of Phoenix
