1 starI wish I wouldve chided a different school. This school is completely unsympathetic to students financial situation. I initially enrolled and took all of the loans and Pell grant to cover cost of classes and some for living expenses. I regret that I lowered my work hours to 20 hours so that I can be able to work and go to school. You have to wait 5weeks or more to get your excess funds on top of that they hold your money and you cannot get your entire funds they decided to divide your excess funds in partial payments. I dont understand how they can do this with peoples loan money. The excuse they gave me was that the University decided to not give you your entire refund at once. This is just a pain for student who are in need and someone needs to get involved. Another thing is that they keep saying Im missing post but yet I post more than what is required every week. This school is just unbelievable. Please do not attend unless you dont have another choice. Their classes are absolutely overpriced. They rush to get you in and then leave you hanging once they get your loans.University of Phoenix

1 starThis school is a scam !! I started this program in April 2025. First course went great. Teacher was awesome and helpful. As for the second course, NSG 416, that teacher made it really difficult for me. It all started with this PowerPoint that she assigned. At first, she wanted it with audio recording on each slide, I did so and submitted it. She complained that the file Size was too large and recommended that I remove any pictures on my presentation which had none. So I tried recording my note faster to reduce the file size but to no avail, so I submitted again. She told me to reduce it even further, so I reached out to IT support. They did their best to compress the file, but still was unable to have it within the requested file size, so I submitted what I had. Then she suggested speaker notes after my third submission, so I complied and submitted for a fourth time. She then said it has to be 175 words on each speaker note per slide which increased my workload even further on top of what I already had, but I got it done and submitted for a fifth time. She then mentioned that I have to do the whole assignment over again because I shouldve used the provided scenario which was not stated in the assignment or rubric. At that point I invested 8 days into this one assignment and decided to cut my losses and fail this assignment because while all this was happening, I also had to complete multiple other assignments at the same time. I realized that I was never going to keep up if I kept running in circles with this teacher when she could have given me a list of criteria from the 1st submission. I ended up dropping this class after being told that I wouldnt have to pay for the full course, but got charged in full anyways. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL AT ALL. I REGRETTED TELLING MY COWORKERS ABOUT IT!Review fromThomas M

1 starWORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I am a current student and I have gotten my B.S. and am three classes from getting my masters but for the last 6 months they have been making it impossible to finish. I will never recommend this for anyone. Tired of the terrible education and all the money I have to pay for this terrible experience. But the help and support will always tell you that they understand. Even if they don't understand. They told me I was on probation but I didnt know this for almost a year. So i have to turn in a paper explaining why an assignment didnt get turned in. They have a ghost panel that keeps telling me they need more information. I have given them everything that they have asked for. But they want some information that has nothing to do with the issue. Wish I could go back in time and tell myself not to go with Phoenix.University of Phoenix

1 starThe school instructors purposely inform you you are doing well to get you to complete work after you do everything you are asked to correct only to fail you to charge you more money for the class. This could be because of the lack of online instructors to support the over ******* online students. They are fraudulently scamming students out of their money for lack of educational instructionUniversity of Phoenix

1 starThis school is horrible! It took so long to reenroll. And I accepted my loans the full amount and the financial aid office decided to change the amounts on their own without disclosing this information. Once I am done with these last 2 classes I will never return here. Its hard to get in contact with my enrollment rep. *** process to from beginning to end has been horrible. It took so long for them to accept my classes from another college. I honestly believe I paid for classes I did not have to take.University of Phoenix

1 starI applied to this university in early October. I have encountered countless predatory behavior. I had my transcript sent to the school in a matter of two days. It is now the end of December and my credits have not been included into my account. However, I was signed up for class without my consent and marked absent for a class that I did not even sign up for .I have been transferred from person to person with no real solution to my problems. It is absolutely unacceptable that it would take this long to enroll a student properly into a university, and absolutely predatory to encourage a student to use do the new student course, knowing that you would be charged for it and force to move forward in the program without your transferred credits. Im super disappointed in this process and its sad how predatory this school is coming off. Its very unorganized and unprofessional.University of Phoenix

1 starAfter speaking with the enrollment person, I was told I had to put my credit card information into the system for them to continue to evaluate my transfer credits. I was pending that evaluation and never heard back from them. I left it as they didn't want me as a student and moved on. Five months later, I got a charge on my credit card for upcoming courses I never selected. I never even agreed to a program of study. NEVER give the UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX a credit card before you have all the other documentation and agree to a program of study or courses being selected. I now have to go through the process to get it fixed. RUN, don't walk away from UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX.University of Phoenix

1 starI started business marketing in July online all we needed was basic information to sign up and start school, no tax form or no high school scores none of that. Fast forward a couple months *** makes the news for misleading ads and whatever, I was three courses in and a few months from finishing and out of nowhere UOP stops financial aid. Now they get the bright idea to ask for tax forms, high school credits, household size etc. I honestly believe this school is a scam why let me get so close to being done then stop everything and ask for the information that should have been required when I signed up. Now you guys drop my courses and stopped my financial aid because I dont meet the new requirements I just find it crazy you guys lie about working with major companies for job opportunities and have to forgive a certain amount of money now you guys try to back and do things legitimately I guess. I see why graduation rate is 27% I would also highly recommend doing research on the school before applying.University of Phoenix

1 starabsolutely relentless sales practices. They use autodialers to call you once you fill out a form on their website but dont leave messages and when you answer they hang up on you. I called and asked them to remove me from their calling list after 4 days of being called 4 times per day and they told me they can't remove me from their calling list unless I give them more of my information. How does that even make any sense? Absolute scam business practice!University of Phoenix
