    Charges of $130 for purported bridge tolls out of *** when the vehicle rented from Dollar never left the ********************* during the rental period. The frequent documented tolls and fees charged were erroneously charged on my credit card. Two weeks of back and forth with the company. All renters of vehicles watch for these fraudulent charges when renting from Hertz, Dollar, etc. Another SCAM from car companies and their inept methods of monitoring cars.

    Unethical company that does not disclose administrative fees for their services up front. Refused to refund me the fees that cost double the amount of my daily toll transactions. When speaking to customer service after a long wait on hold, the agent played games with numbers and offered to decrease the fees by 50%, then 75%, but stopped there to ensure they got some money out of me. Easily could have made it right but too greedy to care. Disgraceful to take money without it being disclosed to the customer up front and auto charged to a cc without providing an itemized bill in advance. What a horribly unethical business Plate Pass is and my customer service representative was extremely rude as expected by a company like this. Hertz and plate pass should be ashamed of scamming customers and auto charging them like this!!!

    ABSOULTE SCAM.....RENTED A CAR FROM HERTZ 02/16/23..****************..GOT INVOIVE IN MAIL ON JULY 6TH AND NOW I HAVE TO PAY 30$ FEE AND NO CHANCE TO DISUTE TICKET DUE TO LONG BILLING TIME...COMPLETE BULL ****....NEVER AGAIN HERTZ!

    I understand having to pay a convenience fee to process my toll payment, but $9.90 for two toll charges is ridiculous even in CA. National Car Rental should be more transparent about this charge. The *** is taking advantage of renters just because they can.

    Fees are assessed on a usage day basis not how many tolls you go through.     ******** Driver here. Received my toll bill in the mail om June 25, 2023 for a trip we took in early ******** is dated May20, 2023 with a due date of June 22, 2023, received June 25, 2023 My $16 bill is now $26 after being hit with LATE fees and 'other' fees.USD to CAD plus more fees to the bank = $35total for a $16 bill.Maybe waive late fees for International drivers for 30 days until they can get their c*** sorted out

    They are committing consumer fraud. I've reported them to the local District Attorney's Consumer Mediator. They charged me $8 for toll plus a $9.99 convenience fee. I sent them the proof that I did pay the toll which was only $7. They are committing fraud against me the consumer & the ******************* DOT because they are charging $1 more than the state does for using the toll plaza. Bad business practice and extremely fraudulent, if they are doing this to everyone then the *****. Attorney General should *** them for the extra $1 they charge for toll.

    Fraud and Scam!** May I rented a car from Enterprise, ************** ******* location the vehicle had a toll pass box attached to the window, named Enterprise TollPass and the instructions were given that if a renter wasn't using the toll pass box leave it in the off position. The toll pass box has a small sliding door when turned to the right it is on and calculating tolls when the door is turned to the left it is in the off position. During my trip, the box was left in the off position and was never turned on. For each toll I drove through I went to the cash/credit lines only which were unmanned auto payment machines giving drivers the option for cash or credit, I paid cash at each toll. After returning home Enterprise toll pass charged my card $26.64 and $1.90 even though the system was off it continued to calculate toll charges. When I informed them that their toll pass machine was malfunctioning I was told that there wasn't anything they could do about it unless I had paid toll receipts. Unmanned toll zones do not issue receipts unless drivers paid with a credit card, your banking statement is then your receipt. In total, I paid $57.08 for tolls, the $26.64 and $1.90 that the Enterprise toll pass charged to my credit card, and the $28.54 I paid in cash at the toll booths. There has to be a way that these rental car companies can check if their toll pass machines are working properly before the cars are rented with the devices installed.

    I have been waiting on the side of the road for 6hrs being put on hold countless times told the tow truck is going to show up anytime, with it never arriving I would never use them again most unprofessional rental business don't use them you will most likely regret it!!!!

    This "Company" billed me a $9.99 convenience fee for a $1.85 toll? 500% the cost of the toll! These people are CRIMINALS and I will be sharing my opinion with my rental car company- Hopefully they will fire these people as their toll vendor!

    Avoid Hertz - *** airport! 1. I reserved a car a month in advance. On the day-of their "convenient" app was down/inaccessible - so I stood in line for over 2 hours to get a car.2. When I finally got to the front of the line - after answering all the questions and exchange of credit card info - I was told they ran out of SUVs (which we needed as we were moving across the country the next morning). I explained I had a reservation so the rep tore up the contract then told me to go to the garage and MAYBE the manager could help me.3. The story gets longer but suffice to say it took me OVER 3 hours to get the car I was promised.4. Although I was told I'd receive a refund for any days not used/returned early - I was charged for all 4 days even though I returned it after 3 days.5. I agreed to let Hertz fill up the car (upon return) as "the Hertz price of fuel was comparable to the state's price" but I was charged $220 to fill up the tank (or approx. $5/gallon). (Remember the contract the associate ripped up?)6. When reaching out to Hertz via telephone for resolution - I was told a supervisor would be calling me. Never heard from Hertz. In turn - I emailed the company asking for assistance. It's been a month and I haven't heard back from them. Beyond frustrated...
