  If I could give this a ZERO I would. I am a retired Veteran. My HVAC went out on the evening of Memorial Day. I left a message for a smaller, family owned company that my parents have been using since I was a child. I didn't hear from them promptly the next morning, so I decided to give another Veteran my business. I called and the first thing I was asked was how old the unit was. First they said they couldn't come until the next day; HOWEVER, if it was 10 years or more they'd come the same day ??. So, the young man came. After a while I heard him make several phone calls. So, when I went to check on him he commented that my unit brand was garbage. Yet, the one he said he could install makes my unit ??! I asked about another brand and he said they were garbage after they were purchased by a foreign company (lie). Yet, the unit has the highest customer satisfaction reviews with Consumer Reports. Then, he told me my compressor threw a lockout code and it couldn't be bypassed (lie). So, I'd need a new compressor or condenser but the company doesn't make the condenser anymore (lie), so I could order a new compressor for $4600 plus tax after discount and promotion; however, it'd take two weeks to come in and then I'd have to get on the schedule for repair OR they could sell me a new unit for $11,500 plus tax with next day installation and this was a discount and promote but I had to buy that day to get the deal. I wasn't trusting this. I had my suspicions confirmed when I talked to someone else who got screwed over. So, I called a small HVAC business and the guy said my compressor WAS working and he changed the run cap for $250! My sister, who lives 20 miles away, said a Semper Fi technician told her the exact same thing and she paid a small business $300 instead! This company is shady. It seems they just want to sell new units. They wouldn't have to give a discount if they were honest and fair. Two small businesses told me you don't need a plan for them to tune up.

  I would definitely recommend Semper Fi Heating And Cooling. I had a problem where my unit kept freezing and providing no cool air to my home. This was a nightmare in 100+ degree weather. Semper Fi Heating And Cooling was able to effectively address the situation and now I have cool air blowing throughout my home once again.The front staff are always very nice when I call. ***** (Service Manager) did a phenomenal job having someone quickly sent out to my home. And most importantly I really would like to thank my technician ****. He is a genius when it comes to finding the overall problem with your unit. I will continue having my services done through them.

  The salesman was amazing and appreciated the price he gave me for the unit. The installers worked hard, but on the initial install, they overlooked a few things, which caused me to have to go an extra day in the high heat. Semper Fi did send out another technician the next day and the problems were corrected. It is only because of this error that I have not given them 5 stars.

  I had such high hopes for this company, but they have disappointed on every front. They were quick to come out and recommend I replace both of my AC units. Unfortunately they proceeded to incorrectly install both of the new units causing one to fail and my electric bill to skyrocket to $1000-$1300 in the summer. For reference the 17 year old units I had before this garbage business only caused about a $600 electric bill. They have failed to fix the issues they caused on more than 10 occasions and I have been begging for a resolution for an entire year. Steer clear of this so called business and take your money elsewhere. They do not take care of their vets like they want you to believe.

  Stay away if you enjoy saving money. Dont fall for the $17 annual check up only to get up charged $500 for a $30 part. Literal definition of price gouging people who arent familiar with AC. Not much to do now other than warn others! STAY AWAY

  Our AC went out Saturday night early in the morning. I called 3 AC company's and the quickest to respond would be Tuesday, others Thursday and Friday. I called Sempi Fi sometime on Sunday and they responded by 10:30 on Monday. You can imagine my relief when its 90 degrees in your house, how we felt. The young man that showed up was courteous and knowledgeable. He educated me on the "Soft Start" add on that lowers the start up amps form 132 to 60 amps, which saves your compressor and capacitor. My normal running amps is 21. I am also a veteran which entitles me to 20% off. A good experience here,

  AC went out on the hottest day if the year Semper Fi came out within 24 hours and repaired AC within 10 minutes. Colbie is a very knowledgeable technician Would highly recommend this company.

  Our 15 year old units went out on 7/3. They had new units installed by 7/6. Their technicians did a great job and weve had zero issues with the new units.
