This business has a salesman for pest control services getting people to sign contracts that don't say what the sales man said they would do. We told him we could not afford 12 months of service. He told us that instead he would provide services for 6 months for $139 every other mo. My sister was there begging my mom to pay for services. So My mother was on the phone and said okay we would agree to that. The sales man scrolled through the contract and had me sign it without reading it in its entirety I trusted that I was signing for what we agreed to. Once my mother saw that they had already charged her 3 times she called them to assure that she was not going to be charged anything further because they already took out money from her account in August and September and now in November. This should have provided us services through January and that they would come out as many times as we needed during the 6 months but instead I was told over the phone that they charged extra for services in Sept and that the contract was for 12 months. I disagree with the representative and escalated to a manager. He said that I was emailed a copy of the contract and that it was in there that's what I signed up for. Then he said that if I had a recording of the sales man telling me that he would address it otherwise I signed the contract and that he would cancel it but that I had to pay fee for canceling the contract prematurely. Yes it is my error for believing that the sales man had me signing agreeing to the 6 months for $417. No I didn't know that I needed to go to my email and read the contract to see I was scammed. I don't think it's right for this company to keep all my money for services were not provided through January and I was told by the sales man that there would not be a cancelation fee associated with this 6 month deal. He lied to us! the manager was not willing to believe us without a recording of our conversation however he is billing us a reduced cancel fee $75.

All of this information was sent in a text which was acknowledged and agreed to when you responded "Yes" to that message.
Given the situation, I am truly empathetic and want to part ways in good standing. With this being said, I am going to do a one time courtesy waive for your remaining balance on the account as an act in good faith. I was a month to month verbal agreement with EcoShield Pest Solution - Phoenix AZ, all payment for services rendered was paid in full. I was informed there was no obligation, I could stop service at any time, and there would be no additional cost. I have been very dissatisfied with the service and decided to discontinue it. At that time I was informed that I would have to pay a fee because I have a signed contract with the company. I requested a signed copy of the contractual agreement and received it on September 16, 2024. I reached out to the company and tried to resolve the issue to no avail. Upon reviewing the agreement I noticed the following incorrect information (see attached):1. The name on the agreement was not mine (***** ******).2. The price was more that I was paying for my month to month.3. The credit card number ***2003 and date 05/23 (I never owned) 4. The agreement was initialed not signed (I only initial document with upper case letters and I would not initial a document that requires my signature)

Todays date is 8/27/2024 so in the last 5 weeks where Eco Shield was doing a German Cockroach Clean out and then treat them. They came in and did two treatments two weeks apart. After the second treatment visibly noticed at least three areas that there where at 20 or more gathering around in the cabinets in the kitchen. Called and complained and was told there in the egg cycle and wait another week. At that Time called **************** and had them come out and see what was going on. and the they were shocked to see that the roaches that were still around. and had Hired them to please help. After one treatment the next week might have seen 3-4 around and a noticeable difference. I'm sure Eco shield will state that more time was needed but once i found out they didn't even take out the drawers and in the cabinets and treat anything behind them. the oven was also not pulled out to find a major nest behind there. To stop there services did cost me the full price of $825. I did not want to live with those pests any longer and Truly ***** is helping to eradicate the infestation that i had. Just really want other people to hear about there lack of service.

An employee of ecoshield knocked on my door today, totally ignoring my huge no soliciting sign. This has been a HUGE problem. I have an infant and I don't need someone waking her up and trying to sell me something I don't want. The employees always act like they don't know the laws but if they are door to door soliciting, you should know the laws and playing dumb isn't good enough. You are breaking the law. Stop disturbing the peace and pay attention to signs in front of people's houses. When I asked the employee if he saw the no soliciting sign and for a business card (so I could report the incident) he didn't apologize and instead went into his sales pitch. STOP, I will pursue legal action if it happens again. Enough is enough.

In June of 2022, I was approached by ecoshield pest control and contracted them to be our pest control services for 2 years. In January of 2024 I reached out to them about canceling my service because we were trying to cut costs. They said I could not cancel until after 2 years but that they would discount my service. I specifically asked them that my service would be cancelled after 2 years and they said yes and I specifically asked if I had to reach back out to them or if they would cancel it with my verbal confirmation and they said yes. Fast forward to June of 2024 where I have had hundreds of emails, texts and phone calls and they will not cancel my service. Every other month they reach out with a reminder for the bi-monthly service reminder and I remind them YET AGAIN that I have cancelled. They begin to email, call, text and say they can't cancel until they have spoken to me even though they have spoken to me countless times. I want my account cancelled and my phone number and email address to be removed from their system and I want to never hear from them again.

On 5/29/24 a young man showed up on my property and took a seat on my lawn furniture without invitation. He gave his spiel about how Ecoshield was great and all of our neighbors were using them for their pest control. He was very pushy, persistent and claimed to be the owner. He then invited himself into my backyard, without permission, to surveillance my house. After that, he invited himself in for water, which I allowed due to his deceitfulness in claiming he knew my neighbor. After I finally got him to leave, he returned to my house a couple hours later to ask to use the bathroom where he again lingered until I told him I was busy with work. During that time, he was inquiring about Wi-Fi to get his phone to work. He did not wear a badge and when I asked his name, he said his name is ****. At 6:02 pm he returned to my house for a final time and my husband, kindly refused several times, leading him to shut the door on ****. **** was rude during this interaction and continue to tell neighbors that we had signed up with him. I have never been treated with So much disrespect, dishonesty, and felt completely violated in my own home. The following day he continued to repeat his fraudulent Activity with my fellow neighbors, who then started communicating with each other other. One Neighbor threatened to call the cops on him. But that didnt stop him, he continued to throw my name out and show neighbors of fraudulent contract that I signed with him. I would like to see a resolution with this or I will Continue to file complaints. I know many of my neighbors are doing the same.

On April 10th 2024 Ecoshield pest solutions out of Phoenix Az came out to spray for bugs and within 2 hours of their visit my 5yr old healthy pig was dead POISONED. I contacted the office and all I got was sorry. They refused to pay for the cremation and the vet bills. This company is horrible they knew I had animals on the property and totally disregarded the safety of my pets.

A salesperson came to my house about pest services on 05/06/2024. I entered into a contract to receive pest services. Within the contract I had 3 days to get out of this contract, by 05/09/2024 if I wanted to. I mailed the form which was provided to me within the time frame. It was received by Ecoshield on 05/08/2024 & was received by **** at the front desk. Which I provided proof. Since then I have been called by this company, emailed & received text messages which I provided copies as well. ******* text messages me wanting to know more about why I cancelled. Then the messages started getting worse. Then ******** sent me a text message saying they received my request, but they have to speak with me over the phone to resolve my request in full. No where on my contract did it say I needed to not only provide them with the 3 day written notice, but also speak to them to cancel. Then I get an email from their customer service saying they received my email to cancel service. I never sent them an email, I did as the contract said and mailed them a copy of the cancellation letter to the address provided within the 3 days I was provided. Then the email said to expect a call. Yeah okay, now I'm getting angry. Then I get another email from *****, stating as a reminder there is a charge of cancelling within the service agreement. What charge? According to the terms I had 3 days to cancel in the matter they stated with no obligation, or fees. I even saw in one of these complaints where they educated someone on the terms of their 3 day cancellation. Which I did. This company lies. They have tried different tactics to try and get me on the phone so they can high pressure sales me. If they want to play this game with me I will be more than happy to go to court with them. They better not charge anything further on my card, call me, text message me, email me or come onto my property again. I've had it with this company!

This is in addition to a complaint I had filed a few days ago. I got this from Ecoshield today threatening to charge my card. They gave me the option to get a hold of them today or they will charge my card if I do not hear from them. I tried calling the number provided to me from ******** in the email to prevent this. I get a recording they are closed today and to call during their business hours. They have made it impossible for me to stop this charge on my card. I have already mailed them the 3 day written notice within the time frame to cancel any further services to them within the 3 days provided which I did. Since I have no other options I called my bank to make sure they would not allow any charges from them or any other name that they provide to charge my card. I also wrote them back letting them know per my banks instructions. This is just plain harassment and I'm sick of it. I do not want their services and they are making it impossible for me to cancel with all of their tricks they come up with. This needs to stop.

Was with EcoShield for 2 years (per the contract I signed). I had emailed them asking if I had met the requirements of our contract and their representative said yes, I had fulfilled the time that we agreed to. I went to go cancel service with them and everything seemed ok. Then they send me a bill for $150 for a cancellation fee. If I broke the contract I signed I would expect a fee, what honest company charges a cancellation fee when you fulfil your contract?My advice to anyone reading this, do not hire this company. They sent this fee to collection and I'm about to file a dispute. Stay away.
