I ordered two 91-inch wind spinners for $39 each. The video on the website, which is also on YouTube, shows a large, beautiful spinner, lovely colors with 3 very full spinners. What I received is about 95 centimeters tall, and has 3 simple “pinwheels” in three primary colors, it is no wider than a 2 liter bottle, whereas the one in the video looks to be about 2 feet across. Correspondence with [email protected] claims “ after reviewing the pictures you were sent the correct item.” They offered me a 10% refund. I disputed this with more information including a screenshot showing the 91 inch product description, and still received pushback that I was sent the correct item. They offered me a 20% refund. I’m still disputing this until I get my 100% refund and a way to send these back.

The email is a fraudulent message impersonating Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, a well-known U.S. law firm. It falsely claims to represent Universal Music Group (UMG) in a copyright infringement matter regarding the alleged unauthorized use of Lewis Capaldi’s song “Someone You Loved” on a Facebook "Fanpage". The email is styled to look like a formal “Final Legal Notice Prior to International Litigation” and contains fabricated legal references, case citations, and deadlines. It alleges that a 45-second clip of the song was used without permission on a Facebook video, that a prior removal request was ignored, and that the recipient must remove the video within 72 hours, send confirmation to a provided email, and promise not to infringe again. The email further threatens statutory damages of up to $50,000 per work under U.S. copyright law, litigation in U.S. federal court, and DMCA takedown requests to Meta that could result in account termination. The message uses urgent language, intimidation, and legal jargon to pressure the recipient into compliance. received in the mail, a letter with a check for over $8,000 and notification that I had won the grand prize of $750,000, and directions to call a number in NYC. The check looks very legitimate, but I assumed it was a scam, so I held onto it for several weeks, until I got follow up call on my cell phone urging me to call the NYC number. Took check and letter to local Federal Credit Union for examination. The cashier said the check looks legit, but the FCU supervisor closely examined it and said it appeared to be an altered ("Washed") check, and that cashing it could give scammers access to clean out my account. I put it my in dead file.

However, they were going to refer me to interview at Jordan Valley Construction Inc ., which I thought was odd who applies somewhere and then they refer you to a different company. When following up on job leads, I research said company Jordan Valley Construction Inc . - company exists but no website. In the email, it did have a website, when I clicked on it was blank. Weird...how come there is a website link in the email but no website when I look them up online. Something doesn't sound right. I see a link of someone who reported them that followed all instructions given for said interview. They wanted candidates to download an app... yeah no to set up an interview? The person later says that when they spoke with them they wanted to know who they bank with.. A part of me is shocked but I have heard of fake job listings being on the rise. I saw the shoes after an online search. I saw the shoes I wanted and tried to purchase them but the website was acting funny and my card was not going through. I wrote to the email and a petson sent back an email saying try this link. It worked so i bought a second pair of shoes. When i went to see where my order was at, there was no order that I could find in there website. I sent multiple emails but nothing. I called their phone number but it is not in service. I tracked the address of the company and it led to a shoe store in St Albans NY which looks legit. I think they are just listing that store to look lkke a legitamate business. I dont think that the shoe store knows what is going on.

Trying to help my 94-year-old neighbor out as she needed new shoes. She paid top dollar for one from a legit company and it arrived and they work fine. She wanted a second pair so she could rotate her shoes and she loved the look of a pair this company was selling. Harper & Lane spent good money "americanizing" the site as it looked completely legit. They used shopify in checkout procedure as well so I felt it was safe. Product has never come and their tracking site is so sketch looking and only seems to show movement when I check it .. it's like they wrote a program to show minimal movement so that customer thinks they might deliver. But it's been a month and we still have nothing.

Applied to a customer service position. Yet again a scam. Saying this is HR at team G-7 Executives. No calls no emails I tried calling and got a dead beeping tone. When asked they provide me with their application link or job ad. They seemed to have blocked my number
