Employment - Amplar Services

The initial contact was somewhat exciting; it was a good paying work from home job which I have been applying for months. Mr David Hunter, I believe, was the fisrt text contact. I was to follow the link to Microsoft Teams and meet with Mr Jeff Schmitt. OK -- the online process was status quo to many that are out there. But this one was different. I didn't get an immediate "you're hired". I was asked to go to Teams the following morning to learn the status of my application/interview. I was of course hired. I don't recall the purpose, but Mr Schmitt had me purchase $1500 in Apple Gift Cards. I don't understand their value, but I did. Then his continuing conversation became very poor in language use, grammar, punctuation. At that point, I knew I was in trouble, so I refused to respond any more communication from him. Then Mr William Green came on the picture. What a smooth, excellent communicator he was. He had specific details on funds needed, the purpose of the funds, etc. So I followed him very carefully and we became "special friends" via text. Very special friends occurred almost instantly. He sent photos of himself, shared that he was widowed, on and on. A wonderful dialog we shared. Now I'm at a point of giving them $17,000 with nothing condrete in return. And now they want another $4000. i don't have it; William Green knows I don't have it. So I am expecting a payment soon, I hope, that may provide that amount. The bummer is that I need those funds to live on. So pressure and reassurance is high from Mr Green. I turned on the offensive and asked for the full company name, website, CEO's name, who is the Chairman of the Board. This is what I learned: 1. The dominant website is point32health.org. This is true. 2. AmPlar Services is an onboarding with Point32Health. Not finding that connection. 3. Amplarserv.com is a legitimate website. I'm not savy enough to know if it resembles a legitimate company site. But it is there. 4. The reason for upfront funds was explained that during Covid (2020) the company was burned several times with future empiyees using hardware for other purposes, selling outright; costing AmPlar money. I undetstood. However, in researching AmPlar Services LLP, they were not in existance until Deember 4, 2024!!!! So how could Covid interfered? 5. In this investigation I have learned that the stated CEO left in Septmeber 2024, and that an interim has been appointed. I also discovered the Chairman of the Board is not who he inidicated. The person indicated is ta enured empoyee of Tufts, health industry that is associated with Point32Health. And I've also learned that the BBB has AmPlar Services rated at 13.1 out of 100. I said I want my money refunded; I had no signed agreement so I was not breaking a contract. I was told the process could take weeks. I don't care how long it takes, I just want it back. Do I go to the police?

Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes

I was on X formally know as Twitter when someone who was following I Direct message them because they claimed they won the lottery and was giving some people $50,000 to help pay for bills. I feel such a fool to fall for it. I messaged them saying I needed help with bills and they said they'll give me 50,000. So I gave my name and email address. And then they directed me to this website so I went to the address and contacted them. They told me a delivery fee is needed so I paid for it. Then they said a tax fee is needed. Then they just kept asking for money and I was kept falling for it hoping that they will eventually send me the $50,000. I can't believe I fell for it. They wanted me to pay them by Apple gift card. And like a fool I gave it to them. I've actually wised up and realized this is a scam. Please don't fall for it. If you see something on social media saying somebody won the lottery and wants to help people don't fall for it.

Employment - Employment

I was contacted Monday about what seemed like a sketchy job opportunity. It was kind of like a pay in and then you make money off the top. I was gonna work throughout the five days just to get the five day bonus which is $1000 but you have to keep paying in and then on the last day when I was supposed to receive it, they made the pay in number an ungodly amount so I can’t even get my funds back or commission or my salary that I worked for all week . And that was promised to me.

I had 30 days from receipt of product to ask for a refund. I met that time frame in my initial request, going through the proper channels posted by PayPal. I never received any communication from Fitody Limited & opted for resolution assistance from PayPal. Only to receive a vague response of “case closed after receiving some info from Fitody Limited”. That’s BS!! I have documented evidence of 2 email attempts as that’s the method of inquiry provided & have evidence of Fitody’s 30 day return policy. I am NOT satisfied with the outcome! I am NOT satisfied with PayPal’s so called assistance - and lack of providing me, the consumer, of which PayPal touts to be “protecting” a real opportunity for effective resolution. I will be reporting this issue to the BBB any any other customer protection agencies letting everyone know the hazards of dealing with not only Fitody Limited but that PayPal isn’t truly for the consumer as it wants folks to believe!! I will limit my usage of PayPal!
