  We had our patio door changed. First a visit from Verdun to measure and review the options and cost. Very professional. Yesterday the new door was installed. The service was professional, efficient and well executed. Service respected our home and took measures to protect our environment. Service professional was friendly and expert, work was first class.   This review is for the service not the windows as I have not had enough time with the windows to comment. I purchased the windows April 19 2022. The reason I gave them one star is that in May 2022 we had a huge storm and a chair went through one window and Verdun did replace that one window in June 2022.The remaining windows came in January 2023. Or so we thought. One was missing. The last window was to come March 29 2023. They called and cancelled. My house is now on the market so a change like that 20 minutes before the scheduled install is not acceptable. (especially since I bought the windows in April 2022!) They manage to get the window installed the next morning, but had no trim to finish the job. Keep in mind, my house is on the market!!! They insist that I pay the balance owed. I informed them that I would not. This was a $30 ****** job and $25 ****** was paid - so I was holding $5 ****** back so they would complete the job. The sales representative threatened to put a lean on the house if I did not pay! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I have another place in need of windows and doors - do you think I am going back to Verdun after that threat??? What a huge slap in the face given that $25 ****** of the $30 ****** was paid - and that I was not not going to pay, I just wanted the job done!Note - the installers were polite - my issue was not with them - but with the timing, the final window issues and the salesperson's threat!!!

  *** is the real deal; very knowledgeable, professional and a good listener. I am very impressed and very pleased with her services and this was the main reason for signing the contract with Verdun promptly. *** also answered all my questions re: the Energy rebate and put me at ease, Verdun makes it very simple for the customer - indeed (unlike others where you are given a reference to call in and try to have answers separately). Credibility is also a key :)Compared to other quotes I received, it is very comparable. You could have a bit lower price along with bigger promises (longer warranty) though, if you don't feel the credibility while dealing with the sales rep, I would rather have a solid 25 years vs. the lifetime warrantee.

  We are very happy with our new windows. We had several delays that were unavoidable but communication and cooperation on both sides helped. The installers were friendly and professional and cleaned up after the job was done. We will likely replace our door in the foreseeable future with Verdun.

  Verdun was the only company that seemed to be able to keep almost all the window sill and framing with the split frame installation. Order took longer than projected but I'm thrilled with both the windows and with the installation. I was prepared to be disappointed with it all for about 6 months till I got used to the look (previous windows and frames were really unique) but so far I'm totally thrilled with the look of the windows and with the look of the installation. From my frequent checking of the installation I think they are well sealed and insulated underneath the flashing.

  We had some of our windows replaced through Verdun and few weeks ago and so far we are satisfied. Communication through the whole process has been very good and the new windows seem really nice. The manufacturing took longer than initially quoted, but we were advised as changes occurred and not in a rush, so that wasnt a problem for us. *******, the original sales rep, promoted the product well by highlight features and answered all our questions. We were pleased with the installers (**************************** and ****) and asked specifically for their crew to return when the second portion of our order is ready for be installed.

  I have just had the first floor windows replaced. Last year I had all the uppers done. I have found Verdun's sales reps to be very knowledgeable and professional. I have found their installers to be clean, professional, personable and efficient. It is their product that I find exceptional. Ten days ago the temperature dipped to minus 30 degrees for 2 days. The Verdun windows were free of frost while the older windows had ice a quarter inch thick (first floor before replacement). That's impressive in my opinion. The only complaint I have is that it takes sooooo long between measuring and installation. In the end it was completely worth it. Thanks Verdun.
