  A quack business We ordered the Verdun door in March 2022 and received it after 10 month: Jan 2023. Good things: their manufacturer and installers are good. But the rest is a lie. Better go to a local door manufacturer and pay half the price,Before contacting the business, we go their confirmation that their doors are energy star rated and we can definitely apply for government ****** I still have the email as a proof. BUT IT WAS A LIE. They now accept (after we paid in full) that their doors are not energy star rated.With salesperson we chose "majestic brick" colour for the door but she made us order the door with 'ravishing red" color claiming its the same. I have that email too as a proof. BUT IT ALSO WAS A LIE. We got a door that is very different in color from what we thought we ordered So we are now terribly frustrated and surprised we are conned in a country like ******!!! Please protect youself

  Pros: The sales experience was superb. Our rep ******* was thorough, patient and provided a wealth of information. With ample data provided, the decision to go ahead with purchase was clear and simple. The rep spent a great deal of time going over the products offered, construction and energy specifications and warranty information. Very professional and very well done.Installation fit and finish. We ended up having two different crews for the install due to issues that required a return job (discussed in CONS). Both crews (****** and *** and **** and *** did excellent work. Friendly, courteous, thorough and high work quality. End result fit and finish was excellent.Cons:Our project entailed replacing all 13 windows, front door and patio door. 2 out of 13 windows (****%) had manufacturing defects and had to be replaced. Verdun ordered the correct size patio door, however what was shipped was not the correct size. This was not verified upon receipt by Verdun so the installer brought the door to site but could not be installed. This put us back in the queue for a replacements. The greatest concern here is build quality. I am left to wonder how long the windows will actually last with such a high percentage of manufacturing/quality control issues. Another great failure of Verdun is communications (or lack thereof). You call asking for info, they say they will get right back to you and that is just a black hole. Never did I get a return call to a question requiring another call to try to sort things out. Also, I found it strange that you make your preferences known for installation, they tell you they are putting notes on your file and then out of the blue you get a call with them wanting to do something totally opposite to your stated preferences. Although in the end we were happy with the result, I would not recommend Verdun to others due to the quality control issues in manufacturing and poor customer management/communications.

  I think this company is very unprofessional and does a terrible job of installing windows, following up on fixing the mess they leave behind and follow through after they take your order.They left a complete mess in our bedroom window and left me to paint the trim they had to replace because the initial team made a complete disaster.Months ago they were suppose to do my daughter's house and its still in a mess. The measurements were wrong, the company doesn't seem willing to solve the problem

  Finally after 2 years of on and off problems we have had with our windows,i think it is good now. Poor install practices led to 6 trips to my house,each time a tech came they would find a new problem. It got to a point where they had to re order my windows because of measuring wrong . Unfortunately this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I am unlikely to deal with this company in the future.

  It took close to 8-9 months to get our windows and they told us 6 months. After 6 months we started inquiring and they kept saying soon. When they finally came to our home, they couldnt do the job because the workers said the window was too high and they didnt have the proper equipment. Interesting because we paid for a boom lift as a part of our contract because the salesman said we would need it. Our install was rescheduled for the following week when a lovely team came to do the job. We are still missing the window ******** weeks later but in the end we got 4 windows.

  We ordered in March 2022 with an expected delivery and installation in August or September. In the summer and fall we tried to get an update on the delivery and the company and salesman were giving excuses and not clear answers. Finally when we again followed up they were able to install our new front door but still had no date for the windows. In December we reached out again and finally got most of our new windows installed, although the bay window has to wait until the new year. The company had production issues but they still should have made more effort to keep us up to date with their progress.As for the windows installation we were very satisfied with the efficiency and service provided by ****** and his crew. We hope that his crew will be installing the bay window in the new year.

  We just had our new windows installed and they look great. The finish is very good and the installation was done quickly and professionally. The windows were measured and ordered in the spring and our sales rep **************************************** promised they would be installed before winter and they just made it. We are very pleased with the product and are looking forward to a winter where our windows are no longer drafty and foggy and we can actually see outside. Good job!!
