      We moved 20 km away to a new place, Telus was to reconnect our home services within a week. The date kept getting bumped 2-4 weeks at a time. Several appointments were made and bumped while we kept hoping to be connected. We had no Telus cell service here either and really needed the wifi calling. Over 2 months passed while they continued charging us for services not rendered. I finally had to give up on Telus and they agreed they could not make it happen so we closed there account. They only refunded me $150 for my trouble and over charges. Then today a whole month later they charged my credit card $596 for breaking contract. I will call them again tomorrow and see if they will reverse the charges

      Promised a discount of $40/month on my cell bill to sign up for services. I have not received a discount and then when asked to cancel first time calling was only $10/month and second time calling was a $283 cancelation fee. TREMOVED

      Telus home security opened an account using my REMOVEDinformation. They rendered no service and billed $300 to open and close the account. Zero recourse for the customer. Would never recommend and refuse any service in the future.

      I have a security alarm with Telus and I sold my home as I’m moving to BC and will be travelling internationally for work. They said that I have to pay over $600 unless I can convince the new homeowner to take over (which is outside of my control) or if I die. This is excessive an unreasonable an is a consumer trap! On top of it their cancellation line took over 2 days and over 8 attempts to call them and their system would disconnect making it a very frustrating process to connect with someone and then they would transfer you to different departments so you’re on hold and getting circulated around an they expect me to stay with them? Why would I want to if it takes this long to receive service?

      REMOVED. For TELUS and its associated services (Mobility, Home Security, etc). Atrocious customer service and services in general.
      Charge our credit card for an equipment upgrade that we did not authorize or receive, then tried to give us a credit to our account instead of reversing the charges like we asked. Then cancelled our account without our authorization, and tried to charge us for the next month.
      TELUS will never get our business ever again.

      REMOVEDI accepted the contract at the door, the written didn't match the verbal. They are making me stick to a 5 year contract even though I have to move and can't use their equipment in my new place. They want me to sell it to new owners. The door broke the next day. The app is unreliable. The camera stopped communicating. The website makes it nearly impossible to get to a human. The sales ppl were an "advanced team" from BC and sold me the contract ( they said it would be a 3 year option), it turned out to be 5 years). I asked someone at TELUS to look into it, dig up my phone call recording and no one ever got back to me. I did not want a 5 year plan. I knew I was moving in 2025, I never would have accepted a 5 year plan. DO NOT USE TELUS. This has been a TERRIBLE experience. They REMOVED, their equipment is garbage, they are impossible to get in touch with unless you want to deal with bots and automatic messenger. * REMOVEDthere is NOTHING I can do. REMOVED

      I had a Telus Security System in my home for many years. Telus, without my knowledge or consent, cancelled the service.
      After many hours trying to have this resolved, Telus admitted it was their mistake and agreed to install a new system however I was coerced into a three year contract, even though I objected strongly and advised * REMOVED The system has never worked properly since being installed in late May. After many hours on the phone with Telus, I told them to remove the system. They advised it would be over $500.00 to cancel the contract. Someone did call back from Telus and said they would look into it and return the call. To date, no phone call. I still require the land line so am hesitant to just quit paying the monthly security system charge. REMOVED they no longer seem to care about customer service.

      Telus Custom Security Service installed a new panel which paid for in 2019. My alarm panel is no longer working so I called to have it replaced and was willing for an upgrade and the price was 4x as much at $900 which included a new sensor. I asked for them to send me the quote by email and they did not. Then they also stated that my monthly payments would double at 100%. I called the customer service and they stated I was still getting a deal at double the payments! My system is still inactive and they are still charging me monthly!

      * REMOVEDI have been a telus customer for 26 years, and I have had the regular service complaints but nothing to bad. But since trying Telus security in 2024 I have had nothing but problems with the system and the service, they are totally useless. REMOVED Only one day a week there service technician is available in my area and it’s a Tuesday and I am not available as I work every Tuesday. System doesn’t work and no service. But under contract for 3 years, also they increased there monitoring fees without notice while under contract.
