      Had been a customer for 15 years but due to they're lack of accountability and poor customer service I've chosen to stop flying with them.

      I am very disappointed with my recent experience with WestJet. The customer service agents I dealt with were extremely rude and dismissive, which made an already frustrating situation even worse. Would like to give negative 5 star.On top of that, despite booking tickets together for two people, we were not seated together. I have never had this issue with other airlinesif tickets are booked together, seats should be assigned together without additional hassle or fees. This feels like poor service and unfair treatment of passengers. They are just trying to make money by intensely putting people separately n make money. But very bad idea you guys are not respecting your customers. Overall, the combination of rude staff and the seat selection issue has left me very dissatisfied. I expected much better from WestJet, and I will not consider flying with them again.

      Most likely the world dumbest airline which charged me 70 dollars for a 2.5 kilogram backpack and forced me to check it with checked in baggage. Claiming ultra basic only allows a personal item. Exactly what a personal item is? If you are charging me money why I can't keep the backpack with me.

      purchased flights with westjet was given a credit, was told credit does not expire. when ready to book they said the credit didnt exist. never flying with westjet

      I booked a flight with Westjet - ******** to *************** - in January 2026. Westjet cancelled the flight and rebooked on flight departing two hours earlier on the same day. This has caused us a problem. I read this on a website: Under the ******************************* APPR:For large airines a flight disruption that is within the airlines control (like a schedule or route change, aircraft swap, etc.) comes with obligations. Specifically: If the new flight departs more than 1 hour earlier or 3 hours later, its considered disruptive enough to trigger passenger entitlements. Youre entitled to be rebooked on a different flight at no additional cost, or even on a different airline, if that better suits your needs. If they cannot provide a suitable alternative, youre entitled to a refund and/or compensation (depending on circumstances).I called Westjet and on the first call, they advised they would not change my flight to a later flight, even though the price was the same. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they refused to transfer me and advised they were ending the call and then hung up. I was more than shocked at the rudeness and treatment. On a second call, with a much politer agent, Westjet has claimed that the rules do not apply due to the ultra basic ticket we booked. I understood when I booked that I was not allowed to make changes, but it seems they can and I am forced to accept whatever they decide even if it causes significant problems for me. I have had flights cancelled in the past by ********** and they have allowed any and all changes, regardless of the ticket I had booked. They even allowed upgrades to more expensive flights. Westjet's approach in this situation is absolutely incredulous and I will seek other options to Westjet in the future and I will advise as many people who will listen to me to do the same as Westjet clearly has no regard or care for their customers.

      This airline is the worst. I very flight is delayed and they lie lie lie about the reason not being their fault. I cant believe I paid for row 3d and zone 1 and because the flight was delayed I was bumped upon boarding to 15d zone 4. Did they give me money back for what I paid? No they didnt. Time to boycott this garbage airline. This is not the first time as I travel a lot.

      I have not received my luggage though I paid separate charges in international flight to get it. Nobody was properly answering me on this. I was chasing the meeting with giant retailers from 2 years and today at 11am and I have my all the samples and everything in the bags. And now bags are not there. I am also recording this email and recorded all the conversations. Please reply me on email.

      I am deeply disappointed with WestJet over the past few years! As a paying customer, I’ve experienced numerous flight delays that have left me stranded, causing me to arrive hours, if not days, later than expected. Despite my best efforts to resolve these issues, including filing complaints with both WestJet and the ******** ************** Agency, I’ve been met with nothing but delays and a lack of resolution. To make matters worse, I have incurred thousands of dollars ($$$) in personal expenses due to these delays. I’ve been forced to cover the costs of multiple hotels, taxis, and meals, all while receiving no guidance from WestJet on my entitlements or the allowances available for such disruptions. The airline has failed to provide any clarity or support, leaving me in a position where I’ve had to navigate this situation on my own. Despite doing everything within my power to seek resolution, including following up with the airline and government agencies, I’ve seen no meaningful action taken. The continued delays and lack of communication have caused significant frustration and anxiety, not only due to the financial burden but also the toll it’s taken on my time and peace of mind! As a loyal customer, this experience has been a huge disappointment. It’s hard to comprehend how an airline can neglect its customers in such a manner, especially when I’ve done everything I can to resolve this issue fairly. THANK YOU WESTJET FOR FAILING ME AND NOT BEING A TRUSTED PROVIDER. USE LOGIC AND BE BETTER!

      This airline is a complete ****. I've paid for both upgraded cabins as well as extra legroom seats and on 4+ flights tthe upgrades weren't honored as the aircraft didn't even have those types of seats available. Spent countless hours on the phone with support and email with support to refund me my $$ for services not provided and NOTHING. Don't fly with this airline -- I was also at one point a GOLD member so a frequent flyer with WestJet -- never again. ********** only for now on, or ******!!

      Also booked two passengers and they purposely seated us apart. And both in aisle seats so had to pay $47 just so we could sit together. And the flight is not full, lots of available seats. Very dissatisfying and they should be embarrassed.
