Better Business Bureau Great West + Pacific (BBB GWP) is alerting locals to a pattern of customer complaints against Vibeworx, a digital branding service company that alleges to operate out of Happy Valley, Oregon. The company is facing serious complaints from consumers regarding unauthorized charges and lack of accountability.

The complaint pattern: Earlier this year (2024), BBB recognized a pattern of complaints from consumers regarding billing and collections, customer service, and refund/exchange issues. Many consumers allege they are entered into a monthly subscription with Vibeworx without their knowledge or consent. According to the statements received, consumers are charged approximately $70 per month and cannot reach anyone at Vibeworx to cancel and/or get a refund.

One reviewer said, “Been trying to contact them for a monthly charge... and cancel for months now. No one will answer or email me back to stop charges."

Similarly, one complaint reads, “Fraudulently charged my bank account - I do not know this company,” echoing the sentiment of other unanswered complaints against Vibeworx.

BBB’s response: On February 2, 2024, BBB notified Vibeworx of the complaint pattern. To date, Vibeworx has not responded to BBB’s request to address the pattern. Since then, the Vibeworx BBB.org profile page has continued to receive new complaints and negative reviews aligning with the stated complaint pattern.

To date, the company has accumulated 24 complaints and 22 negative reviews. BBB has given the company an F Rating, citing a failure to respond to complaints and address a clear pattern of complaints. Because this issue continues to impact members of our community, BBB is issuing this press release.

What you can do: BBB advises consumers and business owners to carefully review their financial statements for any unauthorized charges and to research unfamiliar companies before entering into agreements. Consumers experiencing similar issues are encouraged to file complaints with the BBB, the Oregon Attorney General’s Office, and their credit card companies to dispute unauthorized charges.

BBB also reminds consumers of the importance of reviewing terms and conditions before providing payment information online or in person to avoid potential unauthorized charges. For more information, visit the Better Business Bureau website or contact your local consumer protection agency.
