We've been with A.J. Blosenski trash service for years, never missing a payment, never having a problem. The company was sold at the beginning of this year to Waste Connections, keeping Blosenski's name and immediately missing trash pickups. Because the trash started piling up after 3 weeks of no trash pickup we changed trash service on July 17th. We cancelled with Blosenski, scheduled the can to be picked up and was told 6 to 8 weeks for a refund since we had payed for the year. After 3 months of no check, no communication we called to find out where our refund was and was told they were behind. When we heard from them again they told us they never picked up our can. I assume they were hoping we would never check back on our refund and then when we did they decided to offset their losses from everone in this area by making up reasons not to refund. They give no paperwork when they drop a can off or pick a can up. We do not have the can. It was picked up the week of July 17th. Since we cannot prove that, thats how they keep some of our refund. This is not an isolated incident and I would bet we're not the only complaint. Attached is the payment made for the year. The refund should be around $260 with the missed weeks, but with the cost of the can being around $125 they cut it in half. We have not received any refund as of today. I gave the new company a chance and was trying to stick it out till the end of the year, but with the trash piling up and animals getting in the extra bags, I could not wait any longer. We cancelled the service as of Oct 1st. Blosenski repeatedly failed to collect trash as scheduled. On October 12th Blosenski dropped off another recycling can outside my house. Since my house is going up for sale and their recycling bin is ruining my curb appeal, I called and asked them to remove it. After staying on hold for 20 min their phone rep did not offer any help. AJ BLOSENSKI has not been picking up trash for months. They have not responded to the many emails, calls and messages I have submitted. We stopped service in June and they still have not picked up their can and they keep sending me bills. They broke their contract earlier this year when we signed up for bi weekly pick up years ago and they then said they will only come once weekly from then on and will not lower cost even though the price was for bi weekly. Then they do not even come to pick up trash weekly or ever on the day they are supposed to. We left that company in June and a bill they sent me for july-sept services that I never even utilized is allegedly past due and facing negative marks on my credit report. We are currently very unhappy customers of these garbage people. In the 2.5 years that we’ve been with them they have been late/missed our trash and recycling over a dozen times. I’ve called, left messages (no one ever gets back to you), talked to people that flat out lied and said they’re in route and almost there, only to have to sit for another week with our growing trash mound out front. And if it’s a holiday instead of them picking up a day early, they just get it the following Monday. Meanwhile they increased rates to subsidize their fuel costs and still done even bother picking up what we’re paying them to haul away. Then they want to hold us to a contract???? Doesn’t the contract hold them accountable to provide the service that people are paying for? Since Covid the company has been struggling to pick up trash. Was 2 times a week but then switched to 1 time a week. Trash can would sit outside for days until it was picked up. I have called and emailed multiple times, the system says you are caller # ** - you wait and wait then it puts you into voicemail. Leave a message and no return calls. Same with email no one ever emails back. I have been trying to reach them since July 1st. No response only a recording left on my home phone stating that there is yet another delay in trash pick up. I paid my quarterly payment on July 6, 2023 in the amount of $98.64. My last pick up for the quarter should be no later than 9/30. On 8/29 they picked up the trash on Tuesday, the day they were supposed to pick up. Trash can was brought from the curb to in front of garage. We went out when we returned the can was gone. Neighbor stated they saw the truck picking up the cans from the few remaining customers on the street. This has been going on too long and I have been more than patient with this company. Our trash company sent a letter they will no longer be providing service in our area. They informed us (our whole neighborhood), to keep our receptacles out at the curb so they can remove them. This last pick up was July 21, 2023. We were told they would pick up on the 29th, August 5th. On August 8th we were told we would be moved to the top of the list for pick up, this was two weeks ago. I have called our State Representative who has called on many people's behalf and was told we would have their property picked up in the next week, which ended last Friday. Company has been consistently not picking up our trash and recycling. Sometimes they come every other week. But they are supposed to be weekly. We were not notified of any service changes other than a login change. I've tried to login and can't. I've tried to cantact support to help me log in and they do not respond. I've also tried to call just to wait on hold for almost an hour or more just to be sent to a voicemail that didn't give me enough time to give my reason for calling and info. I'm trying to cancel service, but I can't get ahold of anybody to do so and nobody gets back to me. I just want to cancel service and get a new company to service my address. I am rejecting this response because:I've been attempting for months to get help logging into my account. Nobody ever got back to me. And now multiple missed pickups over the last month or 2. I want nothing more than to have my service canceled but I can't log in to do this and I can't get a hold of anybody to cancel my service.
And now I get the same unacceptable response that was given on the website.
Just cancel my service as I've asked. I've been trying to do this for a month at least. I've already hired another provider for service. So please pick up your recycling bins and cancel my account.
As for my bill, I'm owed several missed pickups. At least 5. And since I've been trying to cancel my service without success due to no response, I'm only willing to pay for that 2 of the 3 months for this past quarter.
If this does not work for you, I've already opted in to the class action lawsuit against your company and I will deal with it through that.
Lastly, it's absolutely unacceptable that this is the only way I was finally able to get a response from your company. I don't know what happened when you bought them, but since that change, the business has gone down hill fast.
