Although I've called to discontinue service as well as notifying Blosenski that the service is cancelled when returning the July quarterly bill, I have received another and it is substantially more than the original. They do not return calls although the recorded message said they will. Also, they haven't removed the huge recycling container that is taking space in my yard for no good reason. Since the business was taken over the service is dreadful. Will I need a lawyer to end this nonsense?Business Response

Our customer service representative did not think that she needed to call back since she honored Ms. ******** request to close the account. However, we were unable to retrieve our equipment the following week, on 7/17/25 because it wasnt out, so Ms. ******* account was billed again. Ms. ****** was made aware today that the carts are on the schedule to be removed on 8/20/25. Once we retrieve the carts Ms. ******** account will be credited $250.00.Customer Answer

I have tried multiple times contacting company in regards to picking up my trash, keep getting told you are on the schedule but the trash NEVER gets picked up. It has not gotten picked up since before Memorial Day, its now the end of July. There are maggots & flies in the trash can, it is not useable can anymore. It is just my husband and I in the household, we do not create much trash at all. Even with them not picking up the trash, they still charge me for services not rendered! They manage to pick up my mothers trash, she lives *****ft away from me, literally! Im fed up with calling & being told the same thing over & over again with no results. PennDot began a full closure between ********************** and *************************** on May 12, 2025 to replace the bridge over ********************. The closure is scheduled to last through December 1, 2025. Due to this construction, the road that Mrs. ****** lives on is closed at one end and entering from the other end of the road requires the driver to make several maneuvers which he feels is unsafe. The safety of our driver and the public is of paramount importance to the company. A smaller truck was sent on Saturday 7/26/2025 to collect Mrs ******** trash. Her normal collection day is Friday. The supervisor has called and text Mrs. ******* but she has not responded as of this response. We will need to send a smaller truck to collect Mrs. ****** trash for the duration of the construction.

I am rejecting this response because:Yes they have picked up my trash finally on Sat 7/27 BUT ONLY after contacting the BBB, they STILL have yet to refund me for the bill they have charged me for services that they DID NOT provide the entire month of june/july. And No i have not returned their calls because they never return my calls. And, there is another trash company that picks up my neighbors trash across the street that has no problems with making the turns needed with the road being closed, as well as ALL of the construction vehicles that come down the road (that are bigger than the trash trucks). The trash truck can also turn up *********** Road & take that to ********************* and return to *************** as well so there would be no need for a turn around, there are I believe 2 or 3 Blosenski customers on that road, or is their trash not getting picked up either?If this was going to be a problem, then a RETURN phone call should have been made at the beginning of the summer when I was making continuous call about my trash not being picked up.
So i am still awaiting a refund for the services that were not recieved, & awaiting to see if my trash is going to start to be picked up again on a weekly basis.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me ONLY IF they continue to pick up my trash weekly, & I see the refund. If ONE week is missed, I will be contacting BBB again. This should NOT have come to this, all they had to do was there jobs, which is the service that I pay for.Like ******* from AJ Blosenski texted me on 7/28:
I hear your regular trash driver is concerned about a closed bridge down the road. I specifically sent one of our best drivers to assess the area and collect your trash this past Saturday. Other than a very uncomfortable back up to turn around we found that there is no safety issue that the regular driver will come across.
I have spoken to the regular driver and he will give it a fair shot to collect your trash this next Friday and the next service days to come. I apologize for the inconvenience and hope there are no issues moving forward.
I guess we shall see what happens in the future.

We have walk up trash service that we pay extra for due to health reasons. For the last at least two years the company has failed to pick up trash and recycling at least once to twice a month. I get excuses after excuses as to why my service hasnt happened and told they will fix it and it wont happen again. Well its never fixed and it always happens again and again. Well we always get our bill on time and are expected to pay on time for the full amount. Im not sure how a company expects a client to pay for service that they rarely ever get and have to chase the company for.Business Response

Some of the drivers were not aware that you received drive-in service and therefore passed your house without stopping when they did not see anything curbside. I terminated service with AJ Blosenski trash on 9/25. I received confirmation of the termination and was advised by text and email that the trash and recycling bins would be picked up on 10/2. Under threat of $125/ bin that was not available for pick up on 10/2, I made sure all bins were at the end of my driveway the night before (10/1). The bins were not picked up.I called and left a message on 10/4. No return call. I called again on 10/7 and spoke to a man who said I was rescheduled for yesterday 10/9. I was never notified of the schedule change. Again under threat of $125/ bin by text and email. Even AFTER I called and asked them to fulfill their demands.The bins are still at the end of my driveway. I want them removed immediately.Customer Answer

August 29, 2024- I called the company to set up trash service to this address. I decided to not continue with setting up service after giving them my information (name, address, etc), but I HAD NOT given them any billing information and not authorized service to begin (we NEVER signed a contract). We ended up using a competitor.Flash forward to October 7, we received a bill in the mail for $45 claiming a delivery fee of $25 and startup fee of $20. We NEVER had cans delivered, and NEVER began service. I called them this morning the 9th, and the lady on the phone had a bad attitude and then stated we would have to pay an ADDITIONAL $125 for not being able to return the cans we NEVER RECEIVED. Is this company a scam? This is ridiculous, and needs to be resolved ASAP. We are not paying $170 for a service we never authorized to begin, cans we never received, and a fine for returning the cans we never received. I was a customer of AJ ********************** for several years of residential garbage pickup. In August, we moved from our previous home in ************, ** to **********, **. I have contacted ** Blosenski in writing via email several times to inform them that our last trash pickup would be August 16, 2024 and that service should be stopped at that point. Re: AJ Blosenski We are being harassed for not returning their trash containers after we switched over to another service due to the inconsistent trash pickup by AJ Blosenski after they were acquired by Waste Connections. We were not informed of this change in services until a neighbor told us as they received a notification via mail regarding the new service provider. Another service took advantage of the issues with Blosenski and sent their representatives around the neighborhood to pitch switching to their company (which we did). We cancelled our service with AJ Blosenski as of June 30, 2023. Blosenski informed us to have their containers available curbside August 2, 2023 as they would be arranging for pick up, which we did! Im not certain when the pick up occurred but in speaking with someone from Blosenski, she had two dates noted: August 16 and 23, 2023. In addition she said they have a procedure in place for returns. Apparently that procedure failed! Now they are stating they were not returned and we owe $125 and turned this account over to a collection agency. (A.R.M. Interestingly enough my brother in law and my next door neighbor have told me the same thing happened to them ( and they both dropped Blosenski for another service). We faced numerous missed pickups from this business. When waiting on hold for their customer support, you could wait for an hour only to get the call dropped when someone finally answered. They never replied to several emails and voicemails. After canceling service, we left the bins outside for the company to pick up at the date they provided under the threat that we would be charged a fee if they were not curbside. Those bins have been outside for over three weeks now and the company will not provide a date for pickup.We are seeking a confirmed date to get the bins picked up and a billing adjustment for the missed pickups.Initial Complaint

Customers pay for service 3 months at a time. As soon as I paid for another 3 months I ended up canceling and going with another company due to trash pick up was being delayed for days at a time. Called AJB starting in June 2023 to cancel their services due to lack of commitment to pick up our trash weekly and still charging us. Finally got a hold of a woman who didn't state her name but said she was a part of the customer service team. We told her we wanted to cancel the services which she stated she would notate the account and informed us we would be getting an email stating when AJB would come pick up their bin. Months passed by and no email about bin pick up. Finally received a notice stating our bin was never put out for pickup even though we did not get an email with a date. Months went by again and finally got an email of when they were picking up the bins and we left it out for pickup. We just recently received a bill from AJB claiming we owe them over $500 for their services. We called billing department and they stated they see no notes of us calling to cancel even though they picked up their trash bins. She stated if we showed her our bills from White **** Disposal (who we switched to) she would fix the account. We declined her offer, she threaten us stating the bill will not get fixed and AJB would sell our info and report us. When asked to speak to a supervisor, she claims the supervisor is busy. Ending the phone call we asked her clearly to notate the account stating we will not pay the $500 and any further communication will need to go through a lawyer.
