In the late spring of this year this company stopped providing trash service to my house. After numerous attempts to contact them (mail, email and phone), I was forced to get another provider. Suddenly later in the summer, without any contact they showed up at my residence and dropped off recycle bins. I did get hold of them and told them I did not want or need their service. I had another provider, even though I had paid them but just come and get their stuff. Nothing happened and when I called again I was told by representative that they had paperwork problems but they would put in work order that would cancel my contract and to leave the bins at the curb for pickup. Again nothing happened and we called several times to ask when they were picking up their bins. Finally one night when I got home from work the bins were gone and I thought we were done. Now however, they have started calling my residence and harassing my wife about collecting their bins and saying they were going to fine us. Not sure I can even articulate how absurd this is. First they stop service without any notice. They dont respond to any inquiry about service and why it stopped. Then they drop new bins at my house - that I neither wanted or asked for. Once again they go dark about picking up the bins. This goes on for weeks and months and then the bins are removed. Now they call us and say they are going to fine us. I am sure I am not alone because as I drove to work each day I would see Blosenski trash piling up on everyone curb. I just want this ridiculous behavior to ceaseInitial Complaint

I canceled service with AJ Blosenski in July 2023. I continued to contact them for 3 months until they finally confirmed cancellation and a date to pick up my trash cans. I put the cans out on the requested day and they were gone that same day, however they are saying the cans were never collected and charging me $125 fee. I am looking to have that $125 fee removed.Business Response

I am showing you have been in contact with our office in regard to the $125.00 Equipment Fee. Our representative e-mailed a copy of our paperwork showing the equipment was not out on 10/12 for us to remove. The $125.00 fee is a valid fee because we were not able to retrieve our equipment on 10/12 & 10/19.

Since the acquisition of AJ Blosenski by "Waste Connections", their service has collapsed. Over the last three quarters, trash and recycle pick up has been inconsistent, with little or no communication. AJ Blosenski shifted to an every other week recycle pickup (it was previously a weekly pickup for many years) without a reduction in price. AJ Blosenski has not picked up my recycling for the entire month of November. I called their contact number of 11/25, held for one hour as I was notified how many people were in the queue and after an hour I was put into their voicemail. I never received any return call or message. We called again yesterday and they said they would "notify their operation center." The recycling still has not been picked up.Business Response

I am filling this complaint do to the fact that I pay for a trash service and they do not pick up my trash on the weekly day as they should. I go 2 weeks with trash sitting in front of my home because I never know when they will show up. I pay a monthly fee for trash pick up once a week and trash gets picked up every 2 weeks if I am lucky. This company is becoming very irresponsible and very un professional. we pay for a service and expect to get the service we pay for. this should not be at there discretion when they show up at free will. I have to have trash out front of my home constantly and this is getting very annoying for me and my neighbors who also deal with the same issue. The company does not answer there phone or return phone calls. we have no way of contacting them to try and get this resolved. I hope this is something that you can help me get resolved. AJ Disposal has failed to collect both cans for the last 2 months and this time they even knocked over a can then left it as well. No notice about the amount of cans that can be collected has ever been sent out and up till this point they collected both. No set collection time or even guarenteed full collection.Business Response

I have been a customer for 4 years, and I have a current service contract with AJ Blosenski until 10/1/24. The contract dictates weekly recycling pickup and trash pickup twice weekly for a locked in rate for the contract term. In the last few months I was informed first that trash pickup would occur once weekly, and now recycling pickup is occurring every other week. The company is in breach of the service contract that they signed and no adjustment to pricing has been offered.Business Response

A J Blosenski changed our service level from 2 times a week collection to 1 time a week. When we made this change, we offered our customers a 2nd cart to compensate for the 2nd pick up. The recycling service was changed from 1 time a week to Every other week pick up. Our customers were using 2 - 22-gallon bins which = 88 gallons of product for 2 weeks. With the change in service, we delivered a 96-gallon cart with wheels and lid. The customer is able to put more product out than what they were able to put out on a weekly basis.
We are not decreasing the price of our service.
If you would like to cancel your service because of the service level changes, please feel free to do so. There will not be a termination fee.

I am rejecting this response because:The 3 year service contract (countersigned by an AJ Blosenksi reperesentative) that I have dictates collection days, not volume collected. AJ Blosenski is in breach of this binding agreement.

I paid my 3rd quarter trash removal, $99.08, in advance with check # **** on July 13, 2023 and cancelled service on 8/10/2023 because they were not providing the service weekly as they were supposed to. I spoke with an employee representative and she advised me I was due a refund of $64.62. It has been over 3 months since I cancelled service and I have yet to see the refund.Business Response

Our records are reflecting a refund was processed in our office in the amount of $64.62 on 11/15/23. The refund is processed through our corporate office and can take up to 2 - 4 weeks to receive.

They removed me and my entire neighborhood from their trash collection service effective 7/5/23. They have sent me a bill every month since then for services (trash collection) NOT provided. I've called them (6) times since June and was promised the removal of my account from their system and it still hasn't happened.Business Response

We received notice that our recycling pick up was going to switch to biweekly effective 11/6/23. Our recycling was to be picked up on 11/3/23 and then is not scheduled to be picked up again until 11/17/23. However, the recycling was NOT picked up on 11/3. That evening, I sent a message through the AJ Blosenski app reporting the missed pick up. Over the weekend, I sent an email to the address listed on the paper provided to us that indicated the schedule change. No response from either. On the evening of 11/6, I sent another email AND went into the online portal and reported the missed pick up. I cannot wait three weeks between recycling pick ups. We have had SO many issues with this company this year and have been SO patient with them while they work out staffing issues, as we've used them for years. But seeing that things have improved, and they still are not responding to customer's request for support is very frustrating.Business Response

The company does not answer the phone, makes you wait in a queue for extended periods before just sending you to voicemail which they have no intentions of returning your call. I canceled my service, which feels like an accomplishment in itself, according to statements I have read from other neighbors. I want them to pick up their 96 gal trash tote.
