Received voicemail(s) on 12/7/23 from a “Randy J****” from this company as well as my relatives and old coworkers. Voicemails were threatening legal action over voice mail but not providing any factual information to look up an account or identify who they are or why they are calling. Number appears to be spoofed to my local area and all records referenced in the voicemail are not tied to any account I own. The company has called and harassed my work multiple times. The lady was rude. I called them multiple times after I got the number. This company has been calling my family members and I for months, telling them they need to hear from me by end of day or there will be warrants for my arrest. They yelled at my Mom and told her that I needed to call them back or get a lawyer to call them or they will proceed to ligation. They scared my Mom so bad one time she actually gave them my current cell phone number because she feared I was going to JAIL! Mind you, she was recovering from a recent heart attack! These people are disgustingly MAD and extremely unprofessional. After receiving my number, they called every day leaving threating voicemails to call **********, I blocked the number and they began calling from various Michigan area codes and areas surrounding Detroit as that is where I am from. When I would answer, they never mentioned who they were or any valid identifying information that would confirm their business with me. It was always constant elevated tones and threats. The latest call came from a man named ****** ****** with the ********* ******** ********* ****** *******. He called from a Lansing area code, claiming I needed to be at home, in Texas, the next day to receive legal paperwork. He proceeded to name two previous addresses. He never mentioned the company he was working with, he referred to them by "These folks" and recited the ********** that I blocked with no extension. He claimed when he arrives I need to provide a signature and photo ID then goes on to say "You're going to need to contact these folks to update an accurate address" If you know you don't have a current address, why would you be attempting to serve me at old addresses? These people are unbelievable. I finally found out their name and that the harassment was debt related when I ******* the phone number and came across this website. I am demanding this company to STOP harassing my family, my job and I immediately, under the FDCPA Act VII titles Unfair and Deceptive Practices.Business Response

A gentleman named Max left voicemail stating he was from Main Resolution Group Civil Processing Department at ext ***. He stated I only had 48 hours to respond before legal action. Received a phone call today from a spoofed Ohio number claiming to be a representative of courier service hired to serve me legal papers at my home from 11am to 3pm the following day when they left the call back number it was for this company again calling me using threatening tacktics to collect on a debt that they can not provide information for nor has sent any written correspondence. I have received two separate threading voicemails from ***. Phone # ************** the voicemail to find it belonged to Main Resolution group. This voicemail was left on 11/26/23 and 11/20/23. The voicemail The VM left today 11/20/23 was threading me in regards to a pre-litigation complaint filed back on the 16th Miss ***** this is my final attempt to reach you if I don't hear from you or your attorney today by to 2pm eastern standard time my clients will have the right to move forward and come to either home or place of employment They need to speak to myself or a retained attorney.
This breaks a lot of FTC laws, eluding to legal action in a voicemail, which may or may not belong to the person they are trying to reach. As a debt collector the mini miranda was not stated either. This is my formal request to have this company cease and desist all activities on my account. On November 2, 2023, I got a call from Mac saying that he is from the civil processing division here with main resolution group and I am trying to reach Mr. ******* ****** and my office has been retained this morning in regard to a pre-litigation complaint and giving me only 48 hours to respond. The second call I got from Melvin W***** with the Southwest district outsource, courier service. Calling in regard to a schedule delivery of some legal paperwork that will depart my office for you tomorrow, Thursday, 9 November between the hours of 11am and 1 PM. The numbers that call from are not their real numbers and they also have been calling friends and family and leaving the same message and this violates my FRCA rights. A person identifying himself as Max S**** from the Civil Processing dept. at Main Resolution Group has left multiple threatening messages over the last few days on my cell phone and my daughter's cell phone threatening legal action that is being taken against me. His last voicemail was left today (06-Nov-2023) on my daughter's cell phone, which stated that she needed to have me or my attorney contact him at ###-###-#### by 2p.m. EST today or they will move forward with litigation activity. When I googled Main Resolution Group it came up as a debt collector (even though the Mini Miranda was not stated). These actions violate several FTC laws.
