I bought a car a year ago from a dealership and it already had a downpipe and aftermarket exhaust on it, I purchased a warranty to cover full powertrain etc, I have all receipts of maintenance and any repairs and have been going back and forth for almost a month with the service center and warranty company (blew a hole in the block), they denied my claim since the car was modified but THATS HOW I BOUGHT THE F**king car, they have been doing everything possible to get out of the claim in the first place and have been terrible with responses and understanding the contract that they are responsible for and now they deny, Im at my wits end and will not stand for a company that cant stand by there service/product im left with little to no options and still owe on the vehicle, considering I paid $5000 I expect either a FULL refund or my car to be fixed because this is just wrong, they already have terrible reviews and seem to be very picky about who they help.

Right now Im still waiting for a claim the ********** dealership first called about 2 weeks ago. First GWC wasnt open on a nonbank holiday so that pushed it back two days. Then they took two days to review the claim. Then they said since the official ********** dealership said my claim was $5k they needed an inspector to come out. That was last Monday. The inspector didnt go see the car till Thursday now its the following Monday and the inspector hasn't even submitted the claim paperwork. There has to be a better process than this. Ive been without my car for two weeks and they dont even cover rental cars until they authorize the claim. So this whole two weeks they are taking to verify what the service department of the dealership said isnt even covered in rental car reimbursement. I have a Range Rover so everything is thousands when it needs to be repaired. But unfortunately the cost of the repair triggered an inspector and that means that Im delayed another whole week for this inspector process. My dealership says this is very slow compared to other extended warranty companies!!!

I can give no stars. I purchased a used vehicle and with it GWC Warranty GWC Warranty's "Powertrain Plus" plan. When attempting to have work done, the very reputable vehicle repair facility attempted earnestly to inform *** that all requested repairs fell under the specific coverage within the Powertrain Plus plan. The repair facility indicated to me that GWC was less than helpful and oddly denied claims for seemingly covered repairs, customer service was not at all helpful with the disputes over parts and labor costs; and in fact, aside from the deductible, GWC only offered to pay for $114 of a nearly $1500 repair, all of which the automotive repair facility deemed should fall under covered repairs fell. This warranty company is a sham as it preys on those who have depended on warranties to protect themselves from unexpected costs. It really is a disservice to other reputable warranty companies that are honest and ******* about their duty to protect the consumer. I do not recommend this company as an insurance policy for anyone purchasing a new or used vehicle. Their ethics and moral compass has obviously been compromised by greed.

I will give zero stars. The 'escalation' department is completely useless. After spending thousands on the warranty, they deny covered services without explanation. They do not have an escalation path to speak to anyone in a leadership position. They should not be allowed to do business. I encourage you to do your homework and do not spend your money with this organization. BBB, please rethink your rating. This company, at best, is shady. I'd lean more toward fraudulent, but in either case this is an absolute buyer beware situation. Do not give them your business.

My husband has an active warranty with GWC Warranty, and we recently filed a claim for vehicle repairs totaling $800. However, *** has only approved $181.64 for the repairs. When we contacted *** for clarification, we were told the reimbursement amount was based on the use of MSRP parts and "Market Labor Rates" for our area. However, upon reviewing our warranty contract, there is no mention of such restrictions. The contract clearly states that covered components are fully covered, with no stipulation about reimbursement limits tied to MSRP or labor market rates. This practice is misleading and unfair to consumers. We purchased this warranty in good faith, expecting it to cover repair costs as outlined. GWCs arbitrary reimbursement criteria result in significant out-of-pocket expenses for the policyholder and render the warranty virtually useless. I believe GWC Warranty is engaging in deceptive business practices by imposing limitations not disclosed in the contract. These actions undermine consumer trust and violate the terms of the agreement. This experience leads me to strongly discourage anyone from purchasing a warranty from ***. I urge the BBB to investigate GWC Warrantys practices to ensure transparency and fairness for all consumers. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I believe a class-action lawsuit may be warranted to address the widespread harm caused by **** practices.

I would not recommend this warranty company. We have been trying for over 8 months to get someone to mail us our overpayment for the portion of unused warranty. Every time we call, we just get a run around. I have requested that a manager reach out to me to try and resolve, and still no one has contacted me. They do not honor the contract we signed, so our next step is reaching out to our attorney.**** *****

Beware of this company! They give a large list of items they cover in the warranty agreement, but when it comes time to pay, hardly any of the items qualify. My car had a cam carrier leak, and that didn't qualify. There was a cooling system leak, but that didn't qualify. The front axle boots were torn with grease leaking out, but that didn't qualify. What qualifies, in reality, is hardly anything! I paid over a thousand dollars for nothing. Beware of this company!
