      Wouldnt allow is to discontinue service without haggling for 45 mins. They batter you with alternative plans, passing you to other reps, until you have to be rude about it.

      This company does not comply with the law. A sales person came to my house to sell pest control services. I did not ask for them to come, and I was pressured into signing up. The sales agreement did not comply with the Federal Trade Commission's Cooling Off Rule (16 CFR 429). For example, it included an unlawful purported waiver of the Cooling Off Rule. I also did not receive a Notice of Cancellation as required by law.When I cancelled the service within the FTC's 3-day rule, the company made it very difficult to cancel. I had to talk to two different representatives who tried to convince me to keep the service. I was then told that I would be contacted by another customer service representative within 24 hours and could not cancel until I spoke to that person. Eventually they let me cancel when I was adamant I wanted to cancel.I then asked when I would receive my refund as required by 16 CFR 429.1(g), and I was told that I would not receive a refund because they already provided the service. However, I was pressured into the service and I was not given time to think about whether I wanted the service. The law requires all funds paid under a door-to-door agreement that is cancelled within 3 days to be refunded. The company has refused to provide a refund as required by law.Overall, a shady company that does not inform consumers of their rights under the law.

      Super aggressive and pushy salesgirl. Ignored TWO no soliciting signs. ************* and immediately knocked very loudly. (One or the other would have been sufficient.) Claimed she was working at my neighbor's house but had the name wrong. I learned later that the neighbor canceled their service. Would never hire a company that encourages its employees to have such disregard for people's property.

      Rep came to my door in *********************** and said he was with EcoShield (wearing a green logoed EcoShield polo shirt) and that my neighbors were using him to spray dog friendly Chrysanthemum oils and Poinsettia oils on their properties to control fleas, ants and other pests. I asked if they were truly dog safe (they are not) and he insured me that they are. I then asked to see his *************************** issued door-to-door solicitor badge - he said he lost it but his company is licensed to go door-to-door in ******************* (I checked and they are not, per the online permitted solicitors list on the city web site). He then tried to hard-sell their services offering a one-time pest survey and spray for a couple hundred dollars cash - I said no again and asked him to leave. Stated I will report the door-to-door solicitation to the city - he said goo ahead - my word versus his. Called the company and they could care less and then tried to hard-sell me again for pest control. Beware!!!

      This company is ****** aggressive in its door-to-door sales solicitations. I have told them no less than 10 times over the years, that I have no interest in their service and stop contacting me. I have had as many as 3 contacts in the same week. My house is CLEARLY posted "no solicitations" as I am sometimes a day sleeper (not everyone works 8AM to 5PM) which they ignore. After ignoring my request to not be disturbed, then then expect me to use their business. What does it take to get this business to leave a person alone at home? Does a homeowner have the right to quiet and to be undisturbed? I dont know if this is at the level of a civil action or restraining order but it sure seems like this is what it takes as they refuse to honor the customers wishes. The low "star" ratings and plethora of complaints in the past 3 years is clearly justified.

      The business model for this company can best be described as **************** and ************. The technicians are wonderful, the web customer portal is good, however, after 8 treatments (approximately 8 quarters) I needed to cancel my subscription/service. I sent an email request for cancellation. The email was immediately replied to with information that I would receive a contact within 24 - 48 hours; that communication never came. I just received a call stating my next treatment was coming up in three days. I called to get the account closed since my first request was not fulfilled. I was transferred to a call center where a hard sell approach was implemented to get me to keep the next appointment with a "discounted" rate. If they truly wanted me to leave as a happy customer who might request the services again, they would have just thanked me for my past patronage and closed the account. Now I'm so upset about having to say over and over that I don't want the service and I don't want a technician setting foot on my property that I'll never recommend their services no matter how good it was nor how great their technicians were.

      My experience with EcoShield was the worst absolute experience I have ever had with a business. I started with ***** and should have stayed with them. I opened an account with Ecoshield in July and four months later they are still struggling to get it right. All this company cares about is making a profit. Even after speaking with customer care to cancel my services the representative continued to disregard my complaints and request to cancel. Communication and customer service are terrible. Twice, they came to my home and twice they failed to treat the actual problem. I explicitly told the company what I needed and not to come out unless I was home so they could come inside to treat my property. Twice they came to my home, and twice I paid $200. Neither visit, treated the inside of my home. I spoke to multiple customer care representatives with none of them offering to come to my home to treat the actual problem I had at no additional cost. As penalty for canceling with them I am now paying a $150 cancellation fee. I explained to a manager that since I paid for services they provided but was not given the services I actually needed, they could simply waive the cancellation fee and we could call it good. They refused to do so citing that I signed a contract. As it is, I spent $550 and never received the services I needed. THIS COMPANY IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM! If I could give them a zero star rating I would.

      This company is MISLEADING and their call center has zero regard to owning up to their mistakes. An EcoShield sales rep named ******* came to my door to sell me a 2 day pest control service that was $159.00 per service. He explained to me that the first service was to rid my exterior of spiders and that the next service call would be to remove the eggs etc. After to agreeing to these 2 services, he handed me the tablet to sign for my credit card payment. Unbeknownst to me, he had just misled me to signing a 12-month contract with EcoShild. After I was prompted about my 3rd service call (that I never agreed to) I called the company to cancel any further service calls. At this time, this is when I was made aware that their service rep had lied to me, mislead me, and unprofessionally knew that I was unaware of what I was signing. The call center would not remove me from my contract and they zero empathy to my situation. I spoke to a customer service supervisor named **** and she continued to try and sell me products instead of actively listening to my complaint. There was no resolution and **** and EcoShield as a whole said Sorry about the miscommunication, however, we will not be terminating your contract. Be a better organization BE HONEST Be Transparent and actually be there for your customer.
