      Horrible service. Predatory business!! Be careful, there is a 24 month "commitment" contract like the old phone companies used to do. It will cost you another $150 to get out of the contract.The slimey sales guy said they can prevent bed-bugs and will come in under $100 a treatment - when in fact, they cost $170 a month and to get out I have to pay an additional $300! Sub-par service too. A different person every time they come to my house andSuper a****** ************* system and you can't reach a local person when you are in trouble. Basically there are tons of better options! This company is a corporate predator - and they don't provide good services. Wasted my time since August of 2022. Going back to a local company!! These corporate companies are an expensive JOKE!

      The 24-month commitment was clearly outlined during the sign-up process, and you were provided with a $151 discount for agreeing to complete the term. However, if this commitment was not aligned with your preferences, you had the option to pay off the initial quote in full during the first visit.

      Additionally, I'd like to clarify that our quarterly service agreement provides services every quarter (3 months), not monthly as you mentioned. Attached for your reference is a copy of the service agreement, which also serves as a point of reference for the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

      Did NOT reach out to this service on my own a salesman was going door-to-door saying neighbors had called regarding spiders in their garages, which were also present in mine. Was told that chemicals had already been paid for and would be getting a deal on the service since it was already being performed for the neighbors and though it was a service agreement, I could cancel anytime. The whole interaction took probably 10 minutes, from knock to signing.The service that followed immediately afterward was laughable, with the tech knocking on my door and asking "So what do you want done?" as if the whole thing was my idea. Exterior entries were sprayed, as well as garage and entryway; de-webbing service was performed poorly. Second service was meant to re-cover the areas of the first, but tech ONLY sprayed exteriors and marked the job as complete. Reached out to EcoShield who sent a follow-up technician, who actually seemed knowledgeable and said he was "not surprised" that the second technician hadn't done what he was supposed to, as if that is a common occurrence. This is $318 paid, and a service that takes no longer than 10 minutes to perform.Inept as the technicians may be, God help you if you have to deal with their cancellation department, who wanted $241 to cancel the contract. They DO NOT WANT you to do that and will offer you discount after discount to keep your service. The first CSR offered half off all remaining services and the second, bordering on hostile, offered incremental discounts on my next service down to $80. (I outright asked him, "Are we negotiating right now?" He also said that the techs are not supposed to spray inside and out on the same day, reinforcing the fact that nobody at EcoShield knows what service they're providing.) Both CSRs repeatedly told me they'd make sure I had the best techs going forward, and repeatedly ignored that I told them I am living out of state temporarily, limiting access they would have to the property.

      EcoShield (door salesman) offered a 2 cycle service at $159 each. He indicated that there were 2 appointments required minimum and that I could cancel after that. I received no contract documentation at that time.Once the 2 cycles were complete I received notice of a 3rd appointment at which point I canceled. They then billed me an additional $150 because of the cancelation indicating that I broke a contract. They then referenced a contract that does not contain my signature.In an attempt to make it right they offered me a discounted rate to continue the service as a means to avoid the charge. I agreed however, they called me back indicating that their management team no longer agreed. At this stage they have threatened to send me to collections.I am requesting that they remove the $150 amount due. A cursory review of online reviews show that this is a common practice used by this company.

      Plain and simple, this so called company has not delivered on what theyve promised, not even close. Theres no way to escape their contract. I didnt realize that I was signing a contract when I somehow ended up doing so, and I am a masters degree educated CPA, who definitely has her whereabouts in order and was still scammed by these people. They havent done their job, and when I try to cancel, they either send my account to collections or tell me that I still owe money regardless of whether or not my account stays current or I stop service. I feel like I cant get away from them and I cant escape, and I have no way to protect myself. Theyve already sent me to collections once, because I refused to pay a bill for services that they did not provide, and I feel like they take advantage of their customers. The worst part is, even after they sent me to collections, they still took money from me on my account that should not have had a balance if they actually did send me to collections. They were supposed to show up for quarterly service before Christmas, they never showed up and said it was because they couldnt find parking. I live in a neighborhood with plenty of parking and know theyre a scam. I reviewed the ring camera footage and there was no sign of them looking for a parking spot on any camera. They didnt show up, and they want $160 for that. I really need help and would like to see them go down in flames because they have been terrible to me. THEY ARE THE ***** They have promised via text/email to deliver service on several occasions but they never show up - then charge me for it. I have a ring camera, so I see everybody that comes to my door, and they represent that theyve been at my residence even though they havent. They are a FRAUD and even though they call themselves pest control, I have had to do my own pest control. I killed 14 black widow spiders last summer after they had serviced my property for a year. Do not give them any money!

      A very aggressive salesman walked back my driveway to corner me and pressure me to sign a contract for pest control. I told him I did not have time to talk to him, but he continued. I literally felt like I had to sign the contract to get him to leave. He made it sound like this was his small local business that I was signing a contract with. When I asked him about that, he said there were a few locations. You have been in the news in multiple states for complaints. He pressured me so much to sign the contract and make an appointment that day. He made me believe that we have black widow spiders all over our property. He shared misleading information about other neighbors who have used your services. He tried to get the names of my neighbors from me (so he could corner them!). I feel the contract is void because he misrepresented the nature of this business. I am not paying the fee to cancel my contract. I want them to give me a $0 balance and to stop contacting me.

      We were sold a one-time service (door to door sales guy), which was supposed to take care of potential threats from insects, spiders, etc. They sprayed the driveway. We signed something about a one time follow up. They came back two months later, sprayed a small portion of the driveway and were gone in less than 5 minutes, then we were charged another $180.00 automatically. We tried to cancel the service and they won't allow us to cancel because of what we signed (under duress by the sales person), which says that we are locked in for 24 months (at $180/ each visit 6x per year). We don't have a pest problem and we don't want the service, but they refuse to cancel and keep offering a discount to keep the service. We have health concerns and do not want / need the service any longer. We feel like we were scammed and sold a service without full disclosure of the costs.

      During the past 70+ days I have had eleven phone calls with Eco shield. In every call, they promise to send a hard copy in voice stating it is the last bill I will receive from them. I never receive a invoice. They are liers. They forged my initials to their documents, came door to door in Castle Rock without a city license to do so, billed me for services I never authorized and lied every time I talk to them

      The signature they say is mine is a forgery. They charged $150 to my credit card in August and $150 again in Sep. Now they want $150 to close the account I never signed up for. That makes $450 they charged me and I never received any services for all that money. They are a scam company. I just sent them the $150 they demand to close an account I never opened.

      The Ecoshield Company is a scam company. They charged $450 to my credit card before I caught it. I never received any service from them. They put me in collections with a ********** Company even after stealing my money. No one should ever do business with them

      I should not have a bill with Ecoshield. I had one service done on 9/2 and thats all I agreed to when *** knocked on my door to set up this service. Before having the service done, I had called *** to confirm that that was all I was signing up for, and I received confirmation of that. I saw he emailed me a contract with my forged signature for a quarterly agreement (attached below), that I did not sign or approve of. This is disturbing and illegal. After the 9/2 service, I paid my bill of $139. I then received a text on 10/13 that Eco Shield was coming back the next day for an additional service, even though we didnt ask for that service. I called to cancel that as well and never received other services. Ecoshield is now saying I have another bill for cancelling this contract I never signed. I've emailed this company twice with no response and called three times without anyone resolving this issue. Over the phone, they mentioned the contract, which I never signed, and is invalid. This bill should be terminated and I hope to save others this headache with this review. I should have read other reviews before getting involved with this company that knocked on my door as it sounds like others are having this same problem. Shame on Ecoshield for forging signatures for ongoing contracts and for not being transparent with their services.Thank you, BBB, for your help.

      In August, a salesman came to my door with a very discounted price from $400 to $250 to spray outside & garage for pests. I agreed and he led me through the signing agreement and I paid. Their contract is confusing, they make it seem like a discount, not a cancelation fee. After I paid, he informed me it was a recurring service. I told him he should have told me that from the beginning and to cancel it. He said I could cancel anytime, so the service was performed that day and I was charged. A month later, I got an email saying the next service date was coming. I let them do the service but communication with them was lacking. When I sent them a message, I would sometimes get a reply and others no reply at all. I decided to cancel and had to call them, after getting transferred to multiple people, I finally spoke to someone about canceling. They use a script and do everything in their power to not allow you to cancel. I was convinced to take a lower rate for my service and at the time I kept the service, as I just paid for the ****************** I asked for an updated contract and kept getting the wrong one sent to me with incorrect pricing. This company seems untrustworthy and does not care about the customer until you want to cancel. When you request information, its not correct. In December, I was messaged about my upcoming service and it was not the price agreed upon and when I asked about the discount rate they still did not provide the agreed upon rate so I decided to cancel again and I had to call to talk to their customer support team who just kept reading off a script and repeating the information they already told me. ******* told me there would be a cancellation fee, which I said wasnt clear from my initial rep and was confusing because it was made to seem like a discount. She said it was in the agreement I signed, I told her the salesperson didnt make it clear form the beginning that this was a contract and if I canceled, I would need to pay the fee.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      When the sales person shows up randomly at your door, there is a lot of pressure to sign up for the service. Verbally everything was discussed and while the sales person is standing there waiting for you to read the entire document. Its a bit misleading and nearly impossible to fully read the entire document. The tactics are to get you to sign up after a sales pitch that goes way too quickly to be able realize what youre signing up for. The tactics are sneaky and if anyone looks up Eco Shield reviews, its the same story.

I'm in Denver. They are saying in order to cancel I need to pay $200. I want this removed from payment due as well as any collections after 12/11/2023. I signed a contract on 08/19/2021 for 1 year. I cancelled after last service of 05/30/2023. Service was for 1 year of bimonthly treatment. (6 payments of $99) I've made 10 payments. They are sending me emails saying it is easier to cancel from an Active account. I will not be tricked into paying or audio recording, so only dealing with emails.Let me know if you can assist me with resolution. I've emailed them with my intentions of filing a complaint and have appropriate documentation and 4 emails with timestamps of today (12/7/2023).
