      I would give it a zero if I could. My credit rating is super high and I have excellent credit. Americollectpay.com is either not a legit/legal company, or they have thier recodrs screwed up. They claim I owe money to a company that I will not name, and I call the company that they claim I owe and they say no I do not owe them anything and my account is in good standing. I am one sliver away from filing a harrasment law suite against these clowns.

      Americollect us attempting to collect a debt that is not mine nor associates with. This is illegal. I am a beneficiary of the estate among other beneficiaries. This is illegal and you know it. You cannot attempt to collect a debt from someone not assoiciated with the debt. You are not following policy, regulation nor law. This behavior is being reported to the ******* attorney generals office at the start of business hours today. I checked my credit report. It's clean as a whistle. You are the same company that called me 11 days before my mom passed and you asked for her and told me you are attempting to collect a debt. Now you wont provide me any information and you are asking for me by name. Now you are harassing me.

      The harassment from this company is unreal. Over life saving medical treatment. They call me DAILY before and after business hours. I have asked to be taken off the call list- never happened. I’ve blocked about 100 phone numbers and they still manage to call me from a new number daily. Company should be ashamed.

      This company called me so I called back validated who I was and asked them what the call was about they kept asking me to validate who I was than hung up I called them back 4 times told them wo I was and what they were calling me in regards to and they said a debt but would not give me any information about why they were calling me or for what debt after I called back the 4th time they answered without saying nothing I gave them the name of my lawyer. If this goes into my credit report as unable to collect a debt I want proof of the entire conversation that was had between me and then on this day 5 minutes after the 4th call back that I made to them trying to get the information that they are required to give me after I validate who they were talking to. I am not responsible for this debt because they assumed this debt as soon as I validated my name. I feel when they refused to represent the company that was trying to recover the debt from me and turned it personal that was them assuming my debt and accepting responsibility for it by not giving me the information . They were being felonious in their actions and stealing the opportunity if knowing that there was a debt trying to be collected from me. So they can accept this debt as their own or be brought up on charges of theft if it was more than 1000 dollars that's grand theft and it's a felony . This is not my debt what ever it is and I do not accept it therefore it is fraudulent in my eyes

      I am very disappointed in this company. They didn't contact me and also put a bad mark on my credit report for a bill I didn't even know was mishandled by *** from an emergency room visit. *** told us to disregard the bill and sent it to this Americollect place. The wouldn't even contact *** to confirm that they made an error not sending it out it for our insurance to pay for it. We pay our bill period, and they actually offered a 50 percent pay off which told me right away it was a untruthful claim. This is not the way to do business.

      The worse communication and follow through. On Monday I called to confirm no money due. Individual on the phone confirmed a zero balance. I asked for a statement for my records. She said she would email it. Next day, still no email so I call again to ask. I'm told it takes up to 48 hours to send the email. OK, I wait. It's been 5 days and no email.

      I and my Dad keep being told we owe money and we even followed up with the facility. It is definitely a scam as my Dad and I have not been there in years. We even called to verify. What can we do to stop this?

      I called two years ago to straighten this out. When I was seen in the ER at the hospital, the billing dept for the Ear physician group made an error in my insurance ID. My insurance paid for all bills from the hospital, but not the ER physician group because they billed with wrong ID number. Fast forward to collections, where I was never notified of this. Once I saw the issue in my credit report, I called Americollect and the ER physician group, which blamed me for the error. Anyway, it was taken care of and fast forward 2 years and my credit score is even worse because they still have this amount listed as unpaid. I am beyond furious how these groups can operate like they do and ruin a person’s credit. This is the only negative on my report and I have been paying all bills and credit cards in full every month for almost 10 years.
