I received notification that 9round was reducing hours due to staffing issues for the foreseeable future in early December 2021. I emailed termination notice on 12/13/21, and they received it via certified mail on 12/17/21. Based on contractual review, section 5b indicates this is a valid reason for termination without penalty. The reoccurring fee posted on my credit card on 1/8/22. I disputed the charge and emailed 9round, who then responded on 1/14 indicating that normal hours had resumed a few weeks prior. I now know that actually didn't occur until 1/10. I responded back on 1/14 and 1/17 before getting a response back from 9round on 1/19. I was told that I could terminate my membership early for $448, or keep it in force for 5 more months for $490. I responded back on 1/19 indicating I would negotiate with her, but that wasn't reasonable to me. After no response I emailed again on 1/21. I now had $45 of late and returned payment fees.I received a response back that she is not agreeable to working with me, I have to pay $448+45 or $490+45. I believe my reason for early termination is valid, she is saying it is not. She has told me I could have gone to a different location, which also had similarly reduced hours. She has indicated that all of this is my fault as I opted out of emails or I would have known about the time changes, which is not the concern I have although I wasn't going to opt in to emails after I terminated their services. She has also continued to point fingers at me indicating that I am incorrect as well as bully and threaten me that she will send me to collections and take me to small claims court. As of today, 1/26/22, I was just informed that their location moved and the owner indicated this was part of the reason for the reduced hours. I reviewed the **************** she sent me indicating reduced hours, none of which address this move. I feel I am being threatened into paying for services she's known for months I was dissatisfied with.
