I was looking for a quote on health insurance, but after I entered my information, I was inundated with calls. Ive received 10 in the last hour. I was not ready for this amount of calls, as Im at work, and I do not have time to respond. I would like to stop receiving these calls and unsubscribe.Business Response

I paid Quote Wizard $250.00 which was supposed to have a $250.00 match (which didn't happen). The leads are terrible and they have refused all my credit denials. I gave valid explanations as to why I should receive credits, I.e. bad phone numbers, language barrier, etc., but they still denied. I was capped at 3 leads per day and today I have already received 4. I called the sales rep and said I was going to report them and he hung up on me. It appears there was misunderstanding by the agent (*************************) involving the number of Life Leads Regardless, the QuoteWizard team refunded the $250.00 as requested by the agent, it will take 7-10 business day for the agent to see the refund in their account. In addition, the agent account is pending closer by July 22, 2024.

July 12th I requested a quote from Lending Tree Health, and I have received non stop calls from Quote Wizard nearing every 30 seconds. I've told several of the callers that I am no longer interested and to remove me from their list. I also sent the automated removal text to ************. The calls have now subsided to every 10 minutes but have not ceased. I do not want to be subjected to this harassment and based on reading BBB reviews it sounds like they don't even cover claims with the same level of harassment that I experienced.Business Response

Their website is setup to make you think youre applying for a quote to get health insurance. Which is quite misleading.It really just sends your information to insurance brokers. Ive received 20 calls in the past 1.5 hours, 30 since yesterday afternoon. Its ridiculous. I was searching online for some information on healthcare plans on 5/30/24 and used Quote Wizard to compare insurance plans. I expected a call, but instead, I have had non-stop calls every 2 minutes. Anytime I answer and ask nicely to be taken off their call list I either get hung up on or the person becomes rude and tells me to F--k off. I was searching online for some information on healthcare plans on 5/21/24 and I made the mistake of clicking on this companys ad which led me down a path of being harassed. I was not looking for a quote. On the first call I received, I told the companys sales person I made a mistake and I wasnt looking for a quote. They continued to call me 5 more times in the next 10 minutes. I answered again and asked specifically to be put on the do-not-call list. I hoped it was done at that point, but they called me 5 more times within a ten minute range the next morning on 5/22/24. I asked to speak to the manager, who then identified himself as ******. He shushed me multiple times, insulted me and my wife, before telling me to go f*** myself and hanging up on me. ************ is not a sales organization, nor do they care about providing a service to people. They are a professional harassment company and if you wish to harass your worst enemy, just put their name and phone number onto this companys website and they will be sure to call them nonstop making their life a living h*** ************ should be shut down and if I receive one more call from them, I will be filing a lawsuit for harassment.Business Response

Under no circumstances should you share your information with this company. If you're like me and just exploring options, you certainly don't want to be bombarded with incessant phone calls day and night. Despite their clever disclaimer about contacting you, it's unacceptable to receive more than 120 calls in just 12 hours! This is incredibly taxing, especially since I primarily work from my phone. It's impossible to distinguish whether these calls are work-related or from shady telemarketers pushing questionable insurance schemes. I am rejecting this response because: I appreciate the effort taken to address my concerns, but unfortunately, I must reject their response for the following reasons:
Firstly, QuoteWizard's assertion that I consented to receiving telemarketing calls, text messages, emails, and postal mail is inaccurate. While I may have electronically signed a form, it's inconceivable that I would have agreed to receiving an exorbitant number of calls480 in less than 72 hours (See attachment; I just downloaded this spam protection following this intrusive business practice; 426 blocked (app detects high reported threat) + 54 flagged (app detects medium reported threat) [all of which I never experienced prior to my unfortunate interaction with QuoteWizard] based on that consent. No reasonable person would expect or tolerate such a relentless barrage of communications.
Their attempt to shift responsibility by mentioning their disclaimer and consent disclosure is misleading. These terms are often buried in fine print, and the sheer volume of calls I've received indicates a severe lack of control over the handling of consumer information. Our records indicated we received a lead on 05/07/2024 that the consumer completed a health quote insurance inquiry form through one of ************ marketing network partners.
When a consumer provides their information on the website, the following consent disclosure appears on the insurance request page explaining how the consumers information will be used prior to the submission of their information to Get My health Quotes.
By clicking "Get My health Quotes" I provide my electronic signature and express written consent to telemarketing calls, text messages, emails, and postal mail from this Web site, our marketing and re-marketing network, and up to eight insurance companies or their affiliates or representatives at the phone number (including wireless number), email address, and postal address provided by me. I consent to calls and text messages transmitting insurance quotes, or seeking related additional information from me, using an Automatic Telephone Dialing System or prerecorded or artificial voices. I consent that my signature is not a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services and that I may revoke my consent at any time.
