1 starTook money but didnt do the work. We said we wanted to cancel and they said we could for free if we sent the picture of the rat traps they failed to take care of and they woudl cancel for free. We did and then had to call today, in which they stated they never got and sent a fee for cancelation. They said they would wave the fee if we sent the email and they would call back before 5. Theyvled and will have to call again tomorrow.Ecoshield Pest Control

1 starDO NOT use this company!!! I wasted $650 on them in the last 2 months. The door-to-door ******** promised that they would eliminate the pests in my yard and deck. They didn't. He promised that I could cancel at any time at no cost. He lied. If you wait after 3 days from signing the contract, you must pay a $250 early cancellation fee! After 2 treatments (at $200 a treatment) we saw no improvement and even saw an increase in spiders and earwigs at our home. We were committed to another 3 treatments over the next 6 months at $200 a treatment, so we decided to cancel. I called the company and waited 40 minutes to speak to a representative. The guy was a nightmare. He would NOT listen to my complaint but simply read off a script every time I asked to cancel! This was the worst customer service I ever experienced. Worst yet, I re-read the terms of the contract and saw that the contract is very vague about it ever cancelling! Since customers have to submit their credit card to them and agree in advance to allow the company to charge the card after each treatment you are stuck. The contract allowed ********** to continue to charge you for treatments even after the contract expired. I don't trust them and decided to eat the early termination fee simply to get out of the contract. TOTAL RIP OFF!!!! Don't repeat my mistake! If these guys come around and try to sell you their product, run them off your property! They should be investigated for deceptive business practices!Ecoshield Pest Control

To clarify, our agreements include a three-step confirmation process at signup: a verbal review, a copy of the agreement sent via email, and a final confirmation via text reply. The agreement outlines a 24-month subscription period, and if canceled after the initial three business days but before the end of that period, a $250 early termination fee applies
We also want to emphasize that our 100% Service Guarantee includes free touch-ups if covered pests persist after the initial “egg cycle” treatments. If you didn’t see improvement, we would have gladly scheduled a follow-up at no additional cost.We never want a customer to feel unheard or mistreated. 1 starIt's posted on my door and doorbell - no soliciting. The tech came to my door and started his sales pitch about how he was servicing my neighbors and he know the area had rats and ants. I interrupted and pointed to the no soliciting signs. He started arguing that he was trying to sell me anything - he just wanted to know who we used. I ended up slamming the door to get my point across that no soliciting means NO. 1) never cop an attitude if you're trying to sell something 2) arguing will never change my mind to buy something from you. 1 starAn Ecoshield Pest Control representative came to our home in July of 2024, said that he was in the neighborhood treating a rodent problem for one of our neighbors. He asked if we would like a free inspection. They checked the crawl space only and said that there was evidence of rats. We agreed to a one-time treatment for $184.21. There was no written contract, and, to our knowledge no verbal contract. It was just a one-time treatment on 07/23/2024. They came back on 10/30/2024 and allegedly did another treatment. We told them we no longer wanted their services but paid the $184.21 anyway. They recently contacted us and told us we would have to pay $743.00 to terminate the contract. Given number of similar complaints on this site and others, we have also filed a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General. This company clearly does not hesitate to mislead and cheat customers.Ecoshield Pest Control

1 starI would give them a -0 review if I could. Salesperson was misleading about price and i noticed no difference in pest control. What was originally supposed to be $200 ended up costing me over $800 a year. When I tried to cancel, they said I still have to pay an additional $250.64 or they would report me to the credit *****. Ecoshield's response to BBB complaints seem like form letters. This is understandable because there are so many. I have reviewed my contract and nowhere does it state that the visits would cost $250.64. They said that they would be out on December 20th to service my property and never showed up and still charged me. I don't know how this company remains in business. 1 starDO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY! They are scammers! They walk around with spray bottles and basically DID NOTHING!!! After two of these ridiculous services, we had the worst ant infestation of all time! When I called, they were unable to get someone out for over 2 weeks, even when their marketing messages state that they will respond immediately! I cancelled the service and now they are literally harassing me EVERY day for payment of an "early cancellation discount"! The company I hired to treat the ants charged me less that half of the EcoShield cost! This company is really BAD! Avoid at all costs! 1 starShould be able to give ZERO stars. Bad service, bullying people into signing a contract so they get more money for cancelling their bad service. They charge you over $200 per service, dont treat your whole property, leave supplies on your property. They make you call to cancel, waste your time trying to convince you to stay with the company, dont take no for an answer, offer you $89 services for the remainder, and dont document your call while youre on the phone with them. Should no be able to charge you a cancelation fee, increase pricing, and should provide video of their services. Scripted tactics, you consistently have to repeat yourself and they dont listen, and they dont seem to care.Ecoshield Pest Control
