1 starWe recently agreed to a spider and insect treatment to the exterior of our home. The sales person was pleasant. The tech showed up and seemingly performed the work. Up to that stage we were happy. Then the spiders and insects came back. A VM was left as there was no answer to our call. No return call has ever came. We made an effort to cancel the subscription. They refused to cancel unless we paid them $250. We are now taking legal action. We did not get a successful treatment on our home and have bought work for ourselves to legally resolve this issue. I would not recommend this service to even an enemy.

1 starI have been a satisfied Ecoshield customer for the past three years, and the quarterly maintenance checks have consistently met my expectations. However, I am writing to express my serious concerns about a recent experience that has completely undermined my trust in your company.This past summer, I requested an inspection for potential rat issues. The sales representative who conducted the inspection informed me that I had multiple entry points, rats in my crawl space, and insulation damage from urine and nesting. He quoted $14,000 for comprehensive work including insulation replacement, decontamination, sealing entry points, and installing new vapor barrier. He pressured me to make an immediate decision that day.I chose to seek a second opinion before proceeding with such extensive work. The independent inspector found no evidence of rat urine, droppings, or nesting. They identified only one small opening that was too narrow for rat entry and could be easily sealed with basic pliers.The discrepancy between these assessments is deeply troubling. While I understand that upselling is part of sales, the extent of the misrepresentation I experienced goes far beyond acceptable business practices. The claim of active infestation, multiple entry points, and damaged insulation appears to have been fabricated. I believe the photos shown to me were not actually from my property.This deceptive practice is unacceptable and has destroyed my confidence in Ecoshield.

1 starThey did not spray the areas they were supposed to. Then, when I approached the technician (as he was leaving), he complained that he had to go back and spray the area that he was supposed to. On top of that, the company has an "early termination" fee that costs more than the actual treatment/spraying! That's robbery (to charge someone for doing nothing).

The "copy-and-paste" response shows (even more) that you *don't* care about customer satisfaction. As stated in my initial review, the early termination fee is robbery. There was no mention that it was unknown or not mentioned. The review clearly states that the fee is too high. So, respond to that. Don't just copy and paste a blanket statement as your response. At least *try* to show some attention to the matter. Address the topic. Defend your stance on this issue. Why is the fee so high? Why does "termination" cost more than actually servicing the property? FYI: We already know the answer. You're just trying to squeeze the last dime out of a client before you search for other new customers because your bad business practices are causing a "revolving door" where you can't retain clientele.Review fromWilliam T

1 starEcoshield salesman came to my door saying I had a bunch off "yellow jacket" bees at the top of my garage roof and said they could take care of them and I agreed. 2 days later bees were still there and at 80 years old I went up there and sprayed the myself and immediate called the salesperson to cancel within the 3 day period and he later said it had been taken care of. Now, about 3 weeks later I get a message saying I need to call them to cancel at which time they tell me that I have a long term contract with a cancelation fee and then they continued their sales pitch. After some discussion, I guess they finally realized that I was not happy and agreed to cancel after I threatened to report to BBB, the Attorney General and the ******************************************.

1 starDo not do business with this company! They failed to remove wasp nests and we decided to drop our service. We received phone confirmation and an email confirmation that they would not charge us. However, they are continuing to charge us a large fee for no service. Save your money and do not go with this company! Be careful because you will not receive services and be charged a large $500 fee for canceling service. They do not stand behind their work. Also, its very hard to reach them via phone. They do not pick up or they hang up if they hear that you would like to cancel your service.

1 starWorst experience ever with a service supplier. DO NOT let them walk on your property. They are definitely using ambulance chasing tactics. They were very pushy, rude, no follow-up, and no communication. When we tried to get our money back, which by the way they NEVER completed the 1st service, my credit company held up their contract. I hope their CEO chokes on my remittance. DO NOT contract them for pest control, EVER!!!

1 starThis is the second time a representative has come to my home and told my neighbors I was a friend, had signed up, or as in my case last night told my grieving neighbor he was working for me! I do not want Echo Shield at my property ever again. I will call police for trespassing.

1 starMisleading Sales Practices and ********************* I signed up for what was supposed to be an eco-friendly service with four contracted visits. However, I quickly realized the sales tactics were extremely pushy and not fully honest about the terms especially the cancellation policy and early termination fees. I tried to cancel after the first treatment but was told I would have to pay a $250 penalty, something that was never clearly explained to me upfront.I called customer service multiple times to resolve the billing issues, but they were unhelpful and made it seem like everything was my fault. It was extremely frustrating they completely forgot the basic principle that the customer is always right. The representatives gave me a hard time and showed no willingness to work with me.Its clear that this company needs to better train their sales team and improve their customer service. Based on my experience and similar reviews Ive read, I would not recommend this service to anyone.

5 starsVery responsive and comprehensive service. Much better than previous company. Sprayed for spiders, removed all webs from whole exterior, set bait traps exterior and crawl space and place pellets for slug control. Nice crew.
