The company ECHST.NET has been charging my credit card multiple times a month starting November 28, 2021 through October 10,2023. The charges range as low as $47.00 CAD to $96.00 CAD coming to a total of around $2,500 CAD. No authorization was given for these charges, and I do not even know what to do to stop them. I don't even know who this company is or what services they provide. Contacting the website phone number 1-866-452-5108 ECHST.NET always results in a disconnect by hanging up.Business Response

2 months ago, I bought a trial subscription to one website and a month for another. I tried to cancel both before they renewed through their online portal, but no matter which combination of (entirely correct) criteria I entered, I would get an error message and it would ask me to try again, rinse and repeat several times over. I would then try several times with a different device, even different wifi networks, and would still get the same result. I gave up, and told myself I would bite the bullet and actually call customer service in the morning. Morning comes around, I forget, a month goes by, I get charged for both again. Naturally, this was unexpected and upsetting, so once again, I go to their website to try and cancel those subscriptions via their website subscription look-up service, only to encounter the same exact error message from the month before. Repeat the same process of trial-and-error across criteria combination, multiple devices, and multiple different internet connections. At this point, this has been a bug that persisted for over 2 months, and should be relatively easy to fix. While I only have my personal experience to rely on, other billing websites similar to echst.net have working online portals using the same criteria combination format, and all have worked splendidly, except for this one. I believe this website/order lookup was made flawed/glitchy by design, in order to provide the illusion that customer the customer has the option to cancel their private subscriptions without having to deal with the embarrassment of interacting with a person, only to then force their hand into making an awkward phone call, to a customer service line that *** or *** not be open at the time. This is a predatory practice.Furthermore, at the time of purchase, the website wouldnt let me access my account (see the attached transcript). I am certain this goes beyond bugs/coding errors.Business Response

I signed up for a free account with a cam website. I was unaware that i would be signed up to an additional website called WildOnCam without my knowledge, this site has a subscription attached which charged me $29.95 a month for 5 months. I was then billed without my knowledge of said subscription until I caught the charges and questioned where they were coming from. I requested a refund, they have siad they can give me a refund for the most recent charge but will not refund the full amount. I've seen that this is a regular thing this company seems to do. Ive seen people back charged hundreds and thousands of dollars and recived full refunds for these amounts all through echst.net as the transaction company . I would like a full refund from the dates ranging from 08/11/32 to 04/6/23 I am seeking help from BBB to do this.Business Response

I have multiple charges from this company dating back to September 1st 2021 to as recent as April 6th 2023. The charges range as low as $2.00 to over $200. I have been being charged by this site ***** per month since July of 2022. I reached out via chat in March 2023 when I noticed the charge on my bank statement. I requested to cancel and requested info on what the charge was for. I was told that it was a charge that was for a partner site that I never used nor consented to and they offered to refund me $58.00. I thought this was great until I went back to my bank statements and saw that I had been charged $134.55. I went back and via chat requested a refund of the full amount and was told they could only refund me for 3 months. I think I should be refunded the full amount if I did not consent to being charged nor use the service whatever it is.Business Response

ECHST.net continues to bill my credit card for the amount of $29.96, $19.95, and random $3 charges. I canceled all related subscriptions and was told it would stop, however it has not.Business Response
