I am filing this complaint regarding my experience with REMOVED, which operates Data Engineer Academy. I enrolled in the REMOVEDTraining + Job Placement program on May 29, 2025, under a one-year agreement and paid approximately $13,000 in full. The contract describes extensive coaching and support throughout the term, including daily Slack support, account-manager support, unlimited feedback, mock interviews, one-on-one support, weekly progress updates, and a personalized REMOVEDenrollment, I was working a demanding full-time job and was transparent about my difficulty balancing my job with the program. I repeatedly asked the company for help and was assured that they would work with me. Despite this, there were multiple occasions when I had scheduled meetings and/or tests with my assigned representative and the representative failed to show up, sometimes without advance notice.I was eventually removed from the program. I was denied a refund and was told that additional payment would be required if I wanted to continue, despite previous conversations in which I had been assured the company would work with REMOVEDcomplaint is not simply that I struggled to complete the program. I am disputing whether I received the level of support and services I paid for and was led to expect. I actively sought assistance, attempted to participate despite my work obligations, and experienced repeated failures in scheduled support before ultimately being removed.I no longer have access to the company's communication system because I was removed, so I cannot retrieve all of the messages and records documenting these events. If access were restored, I could provide additional documentation. I also ask the company to review its internal records of my communications, scheduled meetings, and account history.I am requesting a full refund of the $13,000 paid, or at minimum a substantial partial refund, as a fair resolution to this dispute.

I started the school and realized it was not what I was looking for. The price of the school was 20k. I have not paid any to the school at all. I let the school know that the course is not what I expected and that I no longer wanted to go to the school. The school how ever decided to not cancel my entry and took the loan from the bank anyway. I have not paid a dime to this school. I have already tried to get them to send the money back to the bank.

The student got in touch with his success manager about cancelation on May 13th, 2026, after having spent more than a month in the program. He cited a change of career plans, specifically a pivot away from the IT industry as the reason. The success coach cited contract terms and that the way forward would be for the student, Mr. REMOVEDto transfer the program to someone else. Mr. REMOVEDwas supposed to inform his coach of updates on the matter. Since then, multiple employees of DE Academy (coaches assigned to Mr. REMOVEDhave attempted reaching him via phone calls, emails and SMS several times since May until August 15. I'm attaching some proof of these attempts (calls, emails, meetings). The attachment limit prevents more uploads, but there were also multiple text messages sent. We have remained open and proactive in attempting a resolution, but we have been unable to reach Mr. REMOVED

I am filing a complaint against Data Engineer Academy (REMOVED) for unauthorized charges and failure to honor my cancellation request.I did not sign any contract or agree to any ongoing billing authorization. After paying through August, I determined that the services promised (including AI and data labeling training) were not delivered. I then clearly requested cancellation and asked that all future charges stop.Despite this, the company continued to charge my credit card without my consent:A charge was processed in October after my cancellation request.Another unauthorized charge was processed on REMOVED12.I have not logged into or used their platform since September, confirming no service usage during the disputed period. These actions constitute unauthorized billing and deceptive business practices, as the company continued charging after consent was revoked and services were not used or delivered.Resolution requested:A full refund of $2000.00 (October and REMOVEDcharges) back to my credit card.Written confirmation that my account was canceled effective October 3 and that no further charges will occur.Removal of my payment information to prevent future unauthorized transactions. If this matter is not resolved, I will continue with chargeback escalation and pursue additional complaints with regulatory authorities.Sincerely,REMOVED

The refund request has been fulfilled in April, with full acknowledgement from REMOVED. He further stated he would withdraw this complaint. We did everything right, yet now we are harmed for it. Please rectify this in BBB records! It is unacceptable
