1 starBeen on this platform for a long time. Almost 2k reviews with 5 star ratings. Don't know what I did wrong but I supposedly violated polices and they get the right to not have to explain according to their email. I guess they just that have that many customers to do whatever they want. At this rate a company like this will eventually fail. I'm not the only one from checking their reviews and social media. From what I seen and using the platforms they love new accounts and scammers. They do a good job of banning good sellers but seem to look the other way for scammers. Don't waste your time to build good ratings there. You will eventually be banned. Wish I would have listened to other reviews.Reached out on social media and was told to email their social/help. Same automated response. Emailed at least another 6+ times and usually no response but if I do get a response it's the same one. Upon trying to log in it says I can appeal this decision and to Contact Us. Well I have and it has not worked. At least be transparent that it's a no instead of making your customer go in a circle hoping they get back on your platform. Almost like you guys find it funny for customers to beg and keep emailing. All I want to know is the reason I can't get back on and if this is a permament ban or not? I guess that's to much to ask for.OfferUp, Inc.

1 starThey hide and take down your photos until you pay for a subscription. They have a lot of spam bots on there. All they care about is money generated from advertisements and paid for click ads.OfferUp, Inc.

1 starIssue occurred on 8/27/2023 - When I am listing an item for sale it automatically gets taken down and states that the item I am selling (a metal storage box and Garage metal shelf) is either breaking community guidelines or is prohibited although it is not - Every item I try to list automatically gets taken down and I receive a warning that my account will become suspended if I continue to list prohibited items although I am NOT listing anything that is prohibited - It is safe to assume that my account has been wrongfully flagged since any item I post automatically gets taken down - I help people that are busy working by listing some of their items in order for them to have extra money for bills I dont mind doing it as Im retired right now ,before I was selling just stuff that I didnt need it anymore I had sold 237 items and a 5 stars rating - It is unethical of Offerup to wrongfully target my account and prevent me from listing anything for sale without a reasonable explanation after contacting them The least they can do is to reach back to me. So I am confused on why Offerup has targeted my account and is not allowing me to post - Contacted Offerup Support and the response was that my account was deactivated and not to try to create another one with a different e-mail but for some reason I still get notifications from them on my email address I tried to unsubscribe and block them but the are still coming through .OfferUp, Inc.

1 starThe most unprofessional and deceitful business. Will shut down an account without explanation and when questioned you get vague responses like certain items or certain situations I was selling a $25 rug ! Asking for a phone number to verify your account They could not provide an explanation as to what that meant. Had issues with scammers as well. So much for their claim to scammer protection by verifying accounts Currently they have over **** complaints with the BBB. I recommend anyone having negatives issues to file a complaint with the ************************** in ********. They are a division of the ************************* This business needs to be shut down!OfferUp, Inc.

Gift card purchases are not refundable. 1 starThe company is a piece of c*** Unprofessional support Shadow-banning items and accounts without telling the user **** mobile app, slow as turtle now with ADS on whole screen and premium subscription The slowest messaging system Unfortunately, it is still good for local big item But I hope one day everybody switch to ******** or ********** Now they are removing listings containing an addresses in the title or descriptionOfferUp, Inc.

1 starThis company is very unprofessional. I have been hacked several times through offer up over the years! in fact! so many times? that I don't think it's scammers after the first 3 times. I feel that it is offer up or its employees instead? pretty big statement! there's just no way there software can be that bad. they just told me? i violated there guidelines? this is all excuses. as this company is overloaded with wrong doings and cannot fulfill any customers request for resolution? there on their way out? I don't see them conducting the safety of the customers who sign up legitimately. and the information provided to them is easily provided to scammers or as I say? launched in to wrongful doing by them. beware this company's software seems very easy for hackers to hijack accounts. investigation should put this company down for the safety of proper customers who our legitimate on their sign **** Understand! your not only providing your name phone number. but also if you venture with buying or selling through them amongst the shipping process! they take credit card information or debit card information which is also worst? this is very unsafe when this company is constantly getting its buyers and sellers consistently hacked. In my opinion? there is no offer up. and customers should not continue with this company as there website now appears very shady over the years? including their ways in how they want you to reach them. im sure there will know longer be an offer up platform soon.. dangerous company stay away!!OfferUp, Inc.

1 starOffer up just deactivated me without telling me why i've asked for someone to call me to see what the problem is because you wont tell me in The various emails ************* 5star seller for years but issue started with me selling Mxico flag gaiters but others selling other countries no issues They are unfair be careful as they will just take you off the platform HORRIBLE! Ive reported to better business bureau whats right is right & this is just plain wrong Shame on you offer up!OfferUp, Inc.

1 starWe have been an Offerup member since 2016 and have had mostly positive and a few negative expertises with other people but nothing major. About 4 months ago we got banned by their software and got our account back and have been buying n selling that is until this last Friday when Offerup sent us an email saying that we had to sign up for their Tru-You verification to make the Offerup community even more safe a cording to them. Like we were one of the criminal elements using their site and app. We have over 253 stars and.multiple positive comments 100% reply rate from other Offerup members we had sold to or purchased from since 2016. We were never required to sign up for their Tru-you verification service when we first signed up and it was never mentioned to us prior to the email on Friday Aug. 4, 2023. We wrote them right back asking why we were all of a sudden being forced to verify with their Tru-you service, which also uses third party services to process the pictures, videos, drivers license number and voice recordings you would have to submit for this verification process. We were told that we would to join Tru-You to keep access to our account which other people have not had to do as far as we know. We asked a friend if they had gotten this email about having to sign up for offerups tru-you verification service as well and they had not received such an email. We take these last 2 instances of being banned and now having to go through the verification of Tru-you as harassment. At some point we will just delete our account and never look back as they are not the only game in town. Its just aggravating that a company that has valid contact info for us has to force its users to give up more personal info just to be able to use their platform.OfferUp, Inc.

1 starOffer up is the worst company to buy from and sell. I only had negative experiences on this app. I reported a seller and they never shut down his account. Later after reporting many other scammers on the app they shut down my account instead. The management su*** and they only want the bad people to stay in the app. Dont recommend. If you want go to other apps to buy and sellOfferUp, Inc.
