1 starHorrible company, pulled my post of items saying they were against their policy. Meanwhile others had item posted that were the same or worse than mine. Unfair practice to be selective like that. Do not do business with them!OfferUp, Inc.

1 starWaste of time! My account was locked & items I posted for sale were removed due to a technical error I was told! I was selling baby items. My account had only been up for about 3 days! They sent me an email saying my account would be closed for violation of community rules but I hadn't violated any rules. They turned it back on but removed the items I posted for sell. I told just keep the account closed nobody has time to keep reposting items!OfferUp, Inc.

1 starJust a heads up to anyone thinking of trying Offerup. I made an offer on a laptop back on December 13th. The listing turned out to be fraudulent, and was never shipped. Offerup says that orders will be auto cancelled after 3 days. Its now day 5, and my order says its still pending. I've sent 3 different emails asking for my order to be cancelled, but nothing has happened. I did receive one response saying the buyer had 5 days...I don't understand that though, as I have a screenshot on the ap specifically saying the order would auto cancel and I would be refunded after 3 days. I am hoping for a resolution soon...OfferUp, Inc.

1 starI've had my account for over eight years. I had over a hundred five-star reviews. I reported a scammer, and then my account was banned. I was told I could never join again. Offerup only seems to want to support the criminals. I reported scammer profiles in the past, and they would stay active to continue to scam people. Yet with my solid reputation, I am kicked to the curb like trash so quickly for being a good samaritan. Since I have been banned, they continue to send me emails. They are harassing me by saying I can't have an account, but here are a bunch of emails reminding me to come back and look on Offerup.I wish someone would build a better app-based selling platform.OfferUp, Inc.

Patience? Ha! I gave up on OfferUp two years ago when I had to file a complaint through the Better Business Bureau. Sending messages to help@offerup was useless and only wasted my time. Why would I go through that again?Return my account, which has 108 five-star reviews, along with 10 free prime listing credits. With that, I might consider moving past this issue. 1 starThis company will close your account/ghost ban you without any notification, making it appear as if everything is working fine on your end. They reserve the right to do this "at [their] own discretion" whether or not you have actually legitimately violated any terms. For context, I had an account open for 3 days, everything properly verified and when inquiring about a lack of response to my messages, I received a formulaic email stating my account had been removed. Not on my end, ****** I'm still sending messages. When inquiring about reasoning, I simply received the same email again. Don't use this company, you'd just be signing up for a headache.OfferUp, Inc.

1 starHello there, I have been a costumer with Offer up selling random items most spacifically indoor plants. Up until 4 months ago when I experienced technical issues with my account and made a contact with support team and they advised me with several direction which I followed them all. I also was able to call costumer support and they went over more directions which I followed too. However, my account never back again which is selling my items online. I attemted many times to communicate through email and phone calls, although there was no solution. Finally, one person mentioned that since I have been selling more often, I may concider paying months promotion. When I asked about promotion deals, they said that those deals has layers and each layer cost different. Basically, the more you pay, the better sell you may have.The problem with my situation is that I don't have a job and I can't afford those promotion costs. In addition, Offer up supposed to be free just like how I started selling on their platform. I asked people who have the same problem, and they said that Offer Up does that to push you to pay for using their platform!When I looked at their policy, it says that offer up helps community and improve community and individual and for free with no cost. What happened with me, wasn't proper at all. It's been 4 months now I couldn't. sell single item! I have one option either pay the promotion or no more sell.When I say sell I mean making barley $5 which I can't pay $20 or more for making $5. This was very frustration situation where I can't find solution. Four months communication and no one was able to put my account back normal and make at least one single sell. I need your (BBB) help in esculating my case and try to solve it and get my account back active as it was 4 months ago.I'm not willing to pay any fees because that wasn't in Offer Up goal or mission to support community and individuals. 1 starHorrible, I have been selling and shipping since 2016 on this app. They have recently been holding my funds for almost a month, They asked me 3 separate times for my social security number for a picture of my ID and my full name.Once these were provided they still couldn't process my money because my name on the account which is my business name doesn't match the name on my ID provided ! This is a bunch of nonsense.OfferUp, Inc.
