1 starThis "company" is a nightmare. It is like a ********** except they annoy people with every item posted so you pay them to "promote" the item at $8 for 3 days. Also the app is very hard on people's smartphones being the data hog it is. I ran a ***************************** was the ONLY app that both ***************** said was using all my resources. Anyway I posted a Blue Line hoodie which supports ************* kicked me off the platform for such a minor issue.I wasted 2 months posting items for sale at very reasonable prices & did not get even 1 sale. I posted about 100 items & the "views" were minimal telling me they were shadow banning my items just like Fakebook or not showing the items because I didn't pay them to promote them. This company has NO customer support & the app will destroy your phone also. Good riddance of this useless "company"OfferUp, Inc.

Additionally my hoodie never had a URL on it as I don't have a website to direct people to. Respect is earned & you failed miserably. Thanks for wasting all my time putting up items for sale for 2 months at great prices & not even getting 1 view. Why does your platform have no customers ??? Easy according to Trustpilot ,******, Yelp, ******************* to name a few you get 1.5 stars out of 5. That's a score of 30 out of 100. 1 starTeetering on the edge of a fraudulent company with poor or possibly outsourced customer support! ***** selling on platform at all costs! Literally! I sold an item on this platform after receiving an offer for about $200. Item required shipment. Offerup gives you 3 days to ship this item. They then force you to ship the item through a prepaid shipping label through ***** 3 days is very vague, but if they had any sense this would mean 3 **** BUSINESS DAYS, which it does not. Now, the offer was finally authorized early on Friday, and I had no way of shipping the item this day as I have a demanding job in ******. Following a federal holiday and severe winter weather, **** was closed several days. The day that I handed in the package, my local branch had only one employee in the mail room and the lights weren't even on. Offerup says that I shipped this item out late, so they cancelled the transaction! So I shipped this $200-$400 item to the seller FOR FREE! **************** is adamant that I'm the one at fault and told me to try to work out payment with seller outside of the app! They specifically have you agree not to work out payment and shipment outside of the app, and say they will prosecute you for it, so that they get their 15% tax of the sale from you! But then say that the problem must be corrected off app! Do not sell, seriously dodgy or even fraudulent platform.OfferUp, Inc.

Thank you for taking the time to share your shipping experience on OfferUp. I'm sorry to hear that troubles with weather and post office hours complicated your first shipping sale. It's definitely not the experience we want our users to have.
We'd love to have you back selling on our platform, so I'd like to go over our shipping policies with you to provide some clarification and hopefully prevent similar issues in the future.
Sellers have 5 business days to ship an item (though we recommend shipping within 3 business days to allow **** ample time to scan the item). We require shipping through **** because the payment disbursement is dependent on the label being scanned. If the label doesn't get scanned within the timeframe, the order is automatically canceled.
I understand you may have felt rushed to ship your order within the timeframe. In situations like these, it's important to communicate with the buyer. Sometimes buyers and sellers will agree to wait for the order to auto-cancel and then repurchase the item when it's more convenient for both parties. Clear communication is key!
While we don't recommend arranging payment outside the platform due to a high risk of scams, it's not forbidden. Sometimes, it's the only option when unforeseen circumstances prevent a sale from going through as planned.

1 starThe app is full of scammers! I was reporting the same person multiple times a day. They would just make a new scam account and continue to try and scam people. They will kick you off the app for "violating community guidelines" but will not tell you what you violated. They won't even tell you they are suspending your account. Let's kick the guy off who actually buys stuff and keep the scammer ??. I will take my business elsewhere! Considering they won't even reinstate your account. What a joke!OfferUp, Inc.

1 starThis company is an abomination without contact information and do not take phone calls and or address issues with the platform. In my opinion because of the lack of leadership or lack of desire to interface at all with the public and it appears is not BBB certified or involoved, should be bannned or held to account for their behavior.I have sold on **** for 26 years and have 100% feedback rating. This is not easy but is because i treat all sales as if they matter and i ship fast and i respond and have no complaints. I had a U.S Mint Gold Eagle 1oz coin to sell and thought i would try the platform of offer up and maybe save some fees. There was literally no activity and no messages and not sure if there is any traffic there but i do not think it is a viable choice now. All of a sudden i receive a nasty message from Offer UP my account has been deactivated and i violated the public trust and they take this very seriously!!??Well, so do i take being treated like this very seriously and the accusations will be dealt with i assure you!! After i demanded a expanation and defended myself, they claimed it was a glitch and i could sign in now, This was no glitch the email was to me, it had my name at the top and accused me in not uncertain terms of cyber criminal activity in other words, but to me that is what it was!!I am going to the ************************** for remedy and will look for a law firm who can address these people properly. The way they treated me a retired senior will not be tolerated!!OfferUp, Inc.

1 starI cant even give them any star. I posted a fishing reel and they disqualified me and told me I was going to be banned for adult content. They wont even respond to me. There are hundreds of fishing reels and equipment on offer up. Poor discrimination of this company to accuse someone of that sort of behavior.OfferUp, Inc.

3 starsI had a bad experience where I was scammed or stole by $35 is not much but the fact that OfferUp didnt do anything and tried to explain the best way possible it was in vain, now Im a bit skeptical about it, even tho I still use it, is not fair their 2 day inspection period and they wont stand for the clientOfferUp, Inc.

1 starMy account has been banned for several years with no explanation from OfferUp. I've tried to appeal multiple times via email, sometimes multiple times per day, and no one has helped unban my account. I receive the same copy paste bot responses, which tells me that no human answers the emails. I just want my account unbanned and **********************'s customer service makes this extremely difficult. Absolutely terrible customer service!!!OfferUp, Inc.
