I went in October 2022 to purchase a car with my credit I didn't really think I would receive one but the sales guy ********** put me into a car at least I thought so after driving the car for 2 months with 30-day tags I called about my original license plates I couldn't get my plates because I owe personal property over $500 so I end up paying that then I get a phone call from the dealership saying that the car hasn't been completely financed no one to make a car payment too so I was asked to bring the car back and I was put into another one at a lower price before I left the lot for the second time I asked him okay is everything good I was guaranteed everything was well 2 days ago I received a phone call from the dealership from the financial department *** they are asking me to come up there again for the same problem now I have spent over $1,000 in car insurance $500 in personal property taxes my down payment and after 4 months I'm still not secure in a car they continually call me asking me to call the bank and give certain information I thought that was part of their job why should I have to call the bank why do they keep letting customers leave a lot without a sealed approval this situation has become very stressful it has took a lot of my finances and then I still don't know whether I will have a car or not after 4 months does it take that long also want to know is this grounds for a civil suit after speaking with other people that dealt with this dealership they have been through the same situation it is a loss of income it brings you a credit score down and you drive around for months thinking now you have purchased a car when all of a sudden you haven't this will be the third time I've been up there for the same situation this is getting ridiculous and stressful and it's been again 4 months does it take that long and should I have to call the bank to get my own financing done when that is their job
