I was browsing *********** auto navigator website and was pre-approved for a used truck from Parks Chevrolet. I was texted by ***** the sales manager who was open and straight foward. We discussed details and he was able to get me the trade in value I wanted. He told me that the truck was waiting on a part and the finance manager would call with the details of payment and intrest rates in the next day or two. Asked me to place a deposit of at least $250, which I did. The next 2 days came and went with no call from the finance guy. So, with some irritation, I reached out on my way to work. Finally getting through to the finance manager he blamed the sales manager who took a day off that he never told him to call and didn't know about a deposit being placed on the truck. When inquiring about the specifics of the arrangement, he said he could get me a better rate with another lender instead of using ***********. He ran my credit again and came back with a rate and payments that were almost $100 more than the one I was already approved with. He did not know that I had spoken with *********** and the term he submitted to them was for 54 months with a monthly payment of ******. I then reached out to the salesmanager *************************** via email and he said he would get to the bottom of it when he returned to work the next morning. I spoke with him over the phone and he informed me that the truck was waiting on a part and wanted to know if I was willing to wait. I agreed and informed him that I have no problems with waiting and the rates that was in the *********** deal of 54 month at $******. He said he would look into the financial deal specifics and give me a call back when he found something out. Never received any call or information. Then several days later I get an email from *********************************, someone within the dealership that I don't know or have ever dealt with stating my desired vehicle is no longer available.
