5-9-2023: this is date that I became aware of the issue Related to this complaint is the fact that my ******** account was hacked and I am unable to secure it. ******** and AOL have a partnership where a ******** user can sign into the associated AOL account without using any passwords or security codes. AOL does not allow you to disconnect from the hacked ******** account. I have changed my password, but that does not prevent the ******** sign-in. My AOL is my email verification for all my banking, my family, business associates, and credit information. I never approved allowing the ******** sign-in to my AOL. I understand I could close my AOL account but that would be a massive undertaking as I have been using it for years and I have used my past email as my record of information. I simply want ******** disconnected from my AOL. As long as AOL is allowing ******** sign-in, they are giving permission to all hackers to steal AOL's customers' information. The hacker can go to my AOL security page and download all my personal information and security information. This is outrageous! AOL will try and tell you I can turn off this feature on ********, but clearly, I can not since my ******** account was hacked! Attached is a screenshot showing the ******** sign-in. AOL does not allow you to turn this option off.
