--Nomo Pest Solutions informed me today that I would be billed a cancellation fee of $100, even though I only ordered 4 treatments over 1 year to get rid of grasshoppers from the field behind my home. They sprayed my property & the field 4 times with a couple of redos (because the results were not satisfactory one of the times). Overall, it worked & I was a happy customer for the services rendered.--My complaint is that their guys came out 3 or 4 more times after the service that I agreed to had ended. Each time they came, they did not perform any service, but were simply told that we only signed up for 1 year & that the year of treatment was over. Their office called (after months of turning their guys away) to inform me that they were going to charge me a $100 cancellation fee. After explaining that I only agreed to 4 services with the salesman, they explained that their contract states otherwise, that their services continue indefinitely unless you specifically call in to cancel. In other words, you can't just agree to certain number of visits, even though that was what I discussed with the salesman initially. The gal apologized for any confusion that may have happened during my conversation with the salesman, but said that the contract states that services continue & that was what she had to abide by, even thought the ************ discussed only 4 treatments over 1 year.--Long story short, I was told that the $100 fee would accrue penalties & then be sent to collections if I didn't pay. I ended up paying the fee to avoid the hassle & to keep my perfect credit; however, it seemed to me from the way that both of the finance people spoke, they have had many conversations with confused ************* suspect that a significant margin of their company profits are from cancellation fees. --I plan to talk to my state rep about this situation. It seems to me that they've intentionally created a situation where they profit from a large number of cancellation fees.Business Response

I lost my job at the end of June, I got email notifying me of an upcoming appointment with NOMO. I emailed them immediately asking to cancel. when they responded they stated that I didn't cancel 30 days before my appointment. first of all you. never know when your appointment is until they email you and its conveniently after that 30 day time frame. But fine whatever, I let that one slide. they then scheduled me for another appointment after I told them to cancel. they stated that I never reached back out to them to fully cancel and they assumed I wanted to keep it going. Now I am dyslexic and I do not retain or comprehend most of what I read but if I say I want to cancel because I lost my I want to cancel. it is now November and I have been dealing with them since July and they are refusing to cancel my services. they are a scam and their terms and conditions keep changing to suit them and not protect meBusiness Response

We notified in a call in July that we do require a 30 day written notice. And asked to have you text, or email and that we will consider the account open until doing so. We also said times may change and if you want to keep the account open you can leave the account as is and we will come back in 3 month's.
We were very clear and open. If your desire was to cancel send the text and or email like the agreement states and we mentioned on the phone with which you agreed.

A man came to my door to get a contract for his best control business out of St. Louis. Was friendly, had a guy show up in like 2 days to spray for pests in the home and outside. It's been about 4 months and we've never seen or heard from them again, however that hasn't stopped them from taking autopay cash from my account every month. They falsely advertised a monthly service and have not delivered past the first time.Business Response

We have come out 2 times so far and have checked the gps tracker and videos to ensure we were there. If there are any current pest issues, please reach out. We will work hard to help you.
When you review your agreement you will see where it says (S) which indicate the service month. We do an initital service(completed), then a 30 day follow up (completed), and then we will be there every 90 days.
You do have a 100% warrenty so we come back for free when requested. We are here for you. The monthky charge is to make it more budget friendly. Most families like a smaller monthly charge for our services.

I am rejecting this response because:You are lying. There was the initial service and never a follow up done. This house has been serviced one time and that's it. Your salesman said there was a few people on this street that have the service, and I don't care what your gps says. The contract was for the company to spray the house for bugs and you have failed to uphold your end of the contract. There is nothing more to say, no more contact required. Your services was not provided, there is ALWAYS someone here, and you were supposed to be here spraying monthly and did not. That invalidates your contract.

I HAVE BEEN USING THIS COMPANY TO TREAT MY HOME FOR YEARS. I MOVED AND WHEN I CALLED TO CANCEL MY SERVICE THEY SAID WE CANT BECAUSE THYE WERE PLANNING TO TREAT OUR YARD SOME TIME THIS MONTH. Was not happy with the initial service on 7/3/25. Reported this to company on or about 7/17/25. Was told they would do a respray for no additional charge. They did come out until 7/31 which was within a 30day window. They billed me an additional charge of $129.00 which was not suppose to occur. Nomo did not get rid of the ants in my house, and now they are trying to charge me $250 to cancel their "services" that never worked in the first place. They came and serviced our house when we were home for our initial service. They did not tell us that this was the only day that they would be available to come after 4pm. The issue that we had was ants. 4 months later, we still have ants. I waited 2 weeks before contacting them the first time like they asked me to so the treatment could run its course. They scheduled someone to come out between 5pm and 7pm a couple of days later so I could be home to let the person on my deck to treat where the ants were coming in. I did not work my second job that day so I could be home. They did not show up to that appointment. I then told them that nobody showed up and they said that it was a scheduling error on their end ant that they could not come past 4pm. I said that doesn't work for me because I work an hour away and get off work at 4pm. They made the initial appointment at a later time for me to sell the service, but now they can't send someone out again now that they have me in a contract where I have to pay them $250 if I want to cancel, they think that they can just provide service only on their time. I told them that they haven't solved the problem, and they need to cancel our service for free because there are still just as many ants in our house. I would honestly like the $215 of charges already paid to them back but I know that won't happen. Instead, I am just asking for them to cancel the service, but they just respond with "That will be $250". Completely unprofessional.Business Response

There has never been an ant problem we haven't been able to get rid of. If there are continued problems, we will come back as many times as it takes. Sometimes we need to try extra services with different products. We would much rather you continue and allow us to tackle the ants. Pest control will never be perfect which is why we will come back as many times as it takes.

I appreciate your statement that there is no ant problem you cannot fix, and that you are willing to provide additional reservice visits. However, the reality is that your company has made it impossible for me to receive that service.I have repeatedly explained that I cannot take time off work during normal business hours to be home, nor should I be required to sacrifice paid time off for reservice visits when I am already paying for guaranteed pest control. Your technician also failed to show up to a prior reservice appointment without notifying me, which further disrupted my schedule.
Because the infestation is located on my deck, you cannot resolve the problem without access at a time I am home. I am available on weekdays after 5:15 PM, and I have requested this accommodation multiple times. To date, your company has refused.
This means that while you state you can “fix the problem,” you are only willing to do so under terms that make it impossible for me as a customer to receive the guaranteed service. Therefore, unless Nomo Pest Solutions is willing to schedule the required service on a weekday after 5:15 PM, you are unable to fulfill your obligations under the contract, and the company is in violation of its own service agreement.
At this point, I am requesting either:
That you schedule and complete service at the time noted above; or
That I be released from the contract without penalty due to your inability to provide services in a manner that resolves the problem.

A salesman knocked on our door on 5/22/25 selling pest control. We told them our biggest issue was with wasps and asked if they got on the roof and treated all around the soffets on our 2 story home. I told them wasps build nests around the fireplace top and need that treated. The sales guy told me they would get on the roof and treat everything but would need to come back with a ladder. We then mentioned a clover mite issue we had and he told us they would treat all around the house and the complete yard. We paid 99 dollars then and he said they would come back to perform the service. When the came back, they just wiped a duster type tool along our first floor only and did not spray the yard. The salesman even told me they would treat our shed which did not happen. My wife called and asked when they would come back to complete the service and they came a couple of days later, only to do the same thing. I talked to someone with the company and was told they do not get on the roof and what they sprayed is all they do. I provided video of the conversation on our porch but the company denied a refund and wanted to charge a 200.00 cancel fee. I told them I'm not paying due to breach of verbal contract and they told me if it's not paid then they will submit to collections. Nobody higher up would talk to me and was told the decision was made.Business Response

We dont promise that we will get on a ladder. Our pole extends 30 feet woth the dust and we will glady reach as high as we can and do give our very best.
Also if the yard was missed, that is part of our servoce and accourding to our records it says we did treat the yard. If you need us to come back we will.Please give us a call and we can open your account and get it taken care of.
The discount of $200 is for the initial servoce and is required if cancelled before the 12 month term. We would rather open up your account and finish the agreement.

I was told you would get on the roof which was the main reason for starting the service. I have a 2 story home which requires getting in the roof to treat the upper level and fireplace. All of this was explained and I was told they would for sure. Since you don't and I was lied to, I do not trust your company and would like a full refund and everything cancelled

I am an existing customer of Nomo Pest control, they service the outside of my home once a quarter and they bill me on my credit card. On Friday June 13, the service man was suppose to show up. I waited here all day long and no one showed up but they billed my credit card $109. I called and left a message and they told me the job was completed on Friday. It was not.
I was here all day long, I have 3 big dogs that would not let a stranger in the yard, I have a ring doorbell that would alert me if someone came in the front of the house, and have 2 big wasp nests on the front porch. Those wasp nests are still there and no treatment has been applied to rectify that dangerous situation.
The service man is supposed to notify me via phone/text when they are 30 minutes away. I received no call or text. There was no service provided to my home on June 13 or any day this month.
I contacted the NOMO Pest customer service number today to cancel this charge for a service that was never rendered. I told them to refund the $109 for the June 13th service that they did not show up to perform.
NOMO cancelled my ongoing service but refuses to refund the $109 that was charged to my credit card. I will not pay for a service that was never rendered. It is my opinion that they are stealing $109 from me because they fraudulently charged me for nothing.Business Response

If you would like us to come back and treat at no additional cost in the next couple of weeks, we are more than happy. We won't fully refund as the gps tracker on the company vehicle and the tracker on the app the service pro uses does show we were at your home, however we want to give you the benefit of the doubt and give you the service you paid for. I entered in a year contract with this company guarantee that they come to my house 4 times during this year outside and inside to spray for the type of insects during the season that takes place. During this time they have only came inside my home one time. They don’t take spider webs off as promised at the time of signing up. I have contacted the company to see if I can end my contract that is up in July. They told me I can end it if I pay an additional 294. I pay 35 dollars a month, I have 3 months remaining. Why would I pay an additional 294 when the services that were promised and in contract not provided. They are not willing to work with me, when I have still continued to pay my monthly payment Evan when I have not been satisfied, and it has been Mis information from the start of point of sale. I have given them chance after chance to see if they will complete what’s in contract and they never do. Then 04/01 I contacted them again and they said if I pay 105 they will end my contract. I only owe them 105 to complete my services given I pay 35 dollars a month and July is my last month. This business is a shady door to door salesman company, the rep who sold me on the monthly services point blank lied to me to get me to sign the contract noting that it was month to month with no contract. He said I could cancel at any time. The 'paperwork' was all no his ipad and he made me believe I was signing a receipt, not a contract. The service was supposed to be for pest control. A month after the first 'service', we found several black widows on our property which we've never seen here. It took weeks to get someone to come take care of them. Again, within a month after the service we found MORE webs then we had ever experienced before. We have had to call them out. Their service reps have come and not had the right equipment. They take days to get a hold of. They won't let you cancel. They are rude on the phone and not customer oriented. They are a fly by the night door to door sales team of SCAMMERS. People need to be warned. They tried to incentivize me to give a positive review. Liars, smoke and mirrors.Business Response

Thank you for reaching out. Our customer service and service both mean so much to us. We are hoping we can change your opinion on our services as we do care so much.
Our signed service agreements are 12 months in length. We also go the extra mile and do a recorded welcome call woth each customer. This double varifoes thst the customer understands this is a 12 month agreement. One of the questions says "are you aware the discounts given are based off of a 12 month agreement?"
We do offer free return visits and have an average return rate if less than 48 hours with most being within 24 hours after the time the customer requests. We take pride fixing any problems as pest control is not perfect.
