    The website did not have a photo of the part, so I had to guess if the one I ordered was the one I needed. It was not. So I had to pay $7 to return the part.

    This motor was not for the DW708 miter saw. The rotation was backwards, so the blade spins the wrong way. We were able to fix it by changing the "motor starters" (brush leads). Overall I am pleased with the purchase, but only because we were able to fix the backwards rotation. It would be helpful if in the order description, the rotation direction could be specified.
