Where is the zero star? This is the worst warranty company ever. No mechanic in ******* would honor it and the salesman never told me it expired, they said it was a lifetime warranty. I wasted $2000 for this and could not use it. I feel like I was robbed , and would like a full refund. This company is horrible

Hello *******, you purchased a 3-year or 50,000-mile service contract; you did not purchase a lifetime service contract. The service contract terms and conditions are shown directly above your signature, so there is no confusion. Your contract did not say lifetime; it said 3 years/50,000 miles. ** the dealership that sold you the vehicle and the service contract stated it was something other than what was listed on the contract, your time to question it was then and there when you were with the dealer going over the contract and its limitations. Because Gold Standard is not there, we make sure our contracts are extremely easy to understand what you are getting so there is no confusion and so the customer cannot be told the contract is bumper to bumper or lifetime when it is not. The customer has an obligation to themselves to read the contract prior to signing it. As for you having wasted $2000, a Service contract is like car insurance; once your policy expires, you cannot demand a refund because you never needed to or chose to use it. The service contract is there in case of catastrophic failures to assist in the cost of the covered repairs; not needing it doesn't mean you were robbed; it means you bought a good sound vehicle that lasted you 4 years without any major mechanical issues. Our records show you also chose not to use it for your scheduled maintenance that fell within your coverage.

Hello *******, we have looked into your claim and found the following. Both repair facilities you have visited are charging around $675 for a part that can be purchased for anywhere between $113 and $265 - we approved $318. Not even Land Rover charges what *********** facilities are charging. As for the labor, your contract has contract limits for the labor per hour rate of $135 an hour for franchise repair facilities and $100 an hour for independent. The franchise repair facility you first went to was charging $220 an hour an a 5.1 hours for a 4.4 hour job. The 2nd repair facility is charging $129 a hour. In both authorizations we approved the contract maximum for the labor time and rate. The current repair facilities estimate is for $1330.51, we approved $793.99 minus your $100 deductible so we will pay *********** facility $693.99. We have authorized your claim per the terms and conditions of your contract, if you would like to cancel your contract please contact customer service for the cancellation form and we will take care of that for you.

THIS WARRANTY COMPANY IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR REPUTABLE. I got all of their brochures from a independent dealership in ******, **; who is their partner. I called their customer service to verify where I could take my *** X5 before any issues happened. I was advised, any ASE Certified repair shop would be fine. I eventually had to towed my vehicle to a local *** Dealership in June 2023, and this company under their platinum plan denied all claims? I called customer service and challenged their denials, and oh it was denied by accident. I said really. I had to pay out of pocket a total of $5499 for all repairs on $3000+ service contract. The dealership where I purchased my vehicle, refunded the initial monies I paid on this service contract. I contacted a lawyer and was advised this company should be sued, due to misleading information and false advertising. I have all supporting documentation to support my claim. I want this service contact company to reimburse me for a third of the expenses I paid out of pocket. I want a cashier check for $1833 as a good faith reimbursement as oppose to suing them to recover the bulk of my $5500 spent on repairs.

Hello *****, we have looked into your claim and found that you purchased the limited lifetime base powertrain plan, which could only offer assistance with repairs. We show we approved the maximum allowable per your contract for the Oil Filter Housing Gasket, $400.00. The other items that failed did not fall within your limited coverage. The claim has since been cancelled due to the contract being cancelled. If you have any questions please call customer service, we are happy to assist you.

New form and one and a half months hadnt received anything.called back and they said they received the fax on cancellation but dont know why they hadnt did anything. I bought another car and would probably bought a warranty from them but after this would will go to another company.would not recommend this company.they will take your money if they can.worst company Ive ever dealt with. It cost them a new contract and probably the same dealer the sale of a vehicle.

Thank you, *****, for taking the time to leave a review. We have looked into your cancellation, and we did receive a fax with a cover letter that said you wanted to cancel, but no form, then another fax with the same cover letter, and the next page is cut off. Without the completed form, we cannot cancel a contract. The contract has been canceled, and we did backdate the cancellation to March 23rd. We have also initiated the refund to go directly to you and have contacted the dealer to request they issue any portion of the refund they may owe you.

Worst company to deal with as when you ask about your contract they dont dont offer any assistance.. one day the item is covered the next day. The item is not, and they cant explain it. Besides, they keep telling you the contract is different than what you bought.. I would recommend finding a different extended warranty company that is more organized.

Hi Ben, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. After reaching your review, we have found that you were always told that the running board motor(s) are not covered under your plan. We cannot assist with the repairs if the component doesn't fall within coverage. As to the contract you purchased vs. what you bought, we suggest you speak with your selling dealer. We adjudicate our claims from the contract that was entered into our system. If you have any other questions, please call customer service at 833-852-4653.

Worst service EVER!!!! My DEF system went out, which is a critical item in the operation of the engine, and they denied the claim saying we dont do exhaust systems. Any diesel mechanic knows that the system (as directed by the **** is necessary for the vehicle. Instead, I was told that they would be OK to do a claim when the motor blows. And this is not the first time. 6 months ago, my power steering system went out. They covered a bit of it, but not all. Stating that should the metal shavings get into the covered items later, then thats ok, but the items they dont cover (with the metal chunks imbedded) .no. Short version, they are willing to put me and my family in ***** way by allowing attached and critical items to fail, leading to me being stuck on the road and without a vehicle. What am I paying for? These people are hands down the worst Ive ever dealt with!!!!

Hello *********************. We are sorry that you have not been happy with your coverage. You have had 2 prior claims, that we paid $3,529.27 towards ************. The only items that were not approved were components that were not covered. We did not cover the power steering reservoir because it is not a covered component. Whether metal chucks were embedded or not, it is not a covered component and could not be covered under any circumstance. As for the DEF system, none of our plans cover it; as mentioned prior, if it's not covered, we cannot assist with the repair costs.

A bunch of crooks. We paid for the titanium package and they agreed to only pay 27% of our claim because they only cover malfunctions, even though ALL OF the problems are malfunctions. When speaking to my husband, they flat out told him, they would lose money from what we paid for our warranty if they covered our claim. This company is a sham. They should not be in business

Hello *******, we have looked into your complaint and found the following. You have had four (4) claims; the total approved amount is $3,244.22. Your most recent claim had a requested total of the covered components of $2,720.33; we approved $1,823.17 (67%) of the requested amount. If your service center stated you would lose money, they were not aware of the prior claims that were paid. You, of course, can cancel your contract at any time for a pro-rated refund minus claims paid and the cancellation fee. If you would like to proceed with canceling your contract, please call ************.

Extremely unhappy Customer: AC Compressor needed replacement in my AUDI SUV. **** only pays $135 *** in labor costs and they DO NOT pay The Shop dollar for dollar, they instead find parts online from ************** and itemizes those parts as suggestions for the shop, an AUDI DEALERSHIP mind you, to reference from! **** also doesnt pay for Diagnostics, nor belts either; so for them to advertise that they are one to the top INCLUSIVE warranty companies is a flat out tale!I have had extended warranty contracts in previous years through other companies and NEVER encountered anything like this, where the company pays what they want to pay and not the actual cost of parts and Labor as submitted by the dealership! Buyer Beware.

Hello *******, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. WHERE does it say that you pay the amount you want to pay, and not the Dealership costs? I am out of pocket $1500 because you in fact DO NOT cover and Pay Dealership prices, instead telling me that used or aftermarket parts will do and thats what youre willing to pay for!! I wish that I had known this when I bought this contract. I shouldve dig deeper into your business practices instead of relying on your Obviously fictitious high rating reviews! The ONLY things you cover in full are oil changes and small maintenance items like ******************** PEOPLE PLEASE READ YOUR CONTRACT WHERE IT STATES THAT THEY WILL ONLY PAY A *** $135 per hour for labor and they do not pay for diagnostics!! Lastly, I am filing a complaint, complete with your reply to the dealership on what you decided you would pay TOWARDS the costs for the repairs needed Vs what the Audi dealership submitted to you with the ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE IN ****, where youre located!! I paid top dollar for this service contract because I THOUGHT it would live up to its name and cover my repair needs, instead, youre nowhere near GOLD STANDARD!!

Hello Katrina. You can find the labor rate limit and the replacement parts costs on page 2 under Section 1 - Definitions, which states "Cost: The usual and fair charges for parts and labor necessary to repair covered parts. Replacement of any covered part may be made with new, re-manufactured, Rebuilt, After Market or Like, Kind and Quality at the time of Repairs at the discretion of the Administrator. Parts and labor will be reimbursed up to the manufacturer’s suggested list price. Labor time will be reimbursed using nationally recognized labor time standards and labor rates will be based on usual and customary
for the area not to exceed $100.00 an hour for non-franchise repair facilities and one-hundred-thirty-five ($135.00) with franchise automobile dealerships." We authorized the maximum labor rate per your contract terms and conditions. On page 5 under filing a claim #3 it states "You are responsible for authorizing and paying for any tear-down or diagnostic needed to determine if Your Vehicle has a covered Mechanical Breakdown." As for the covering of your AC compressor, We approved the cost of a new compressor, $607.40, we found the same compressor for less than $200 from no reputable vendors and would have still been within the terms and conditions of the contract, however, we still approved the higher cost. The other repairs requested are not covered. If you would like to go over your contract further please call customer service.
