      We had a great experience using Gold Standard! Our car needed a new motor and we took it to a ***** dealership. The dealership ended up being a nightmare for both myself and Gold Standard but our claims *** went above and beyond and helped us through the entire process. They covered almost everything. They were very fair and helpful. I was able to reach my *** with any questions and he responded quickly. The customer service number was always helpful when I called. They could tell me everything going on with my claim day by day. I would highly recommend Gold Standard!!! Worth the money and excellent customer service!

      Not worth ***** sounds great until you make a claim dont cover what they say. Not even the free oil change was free. There terrible every shop I went to said there horrible to work with. And coverage is just horrible will weasel out any way they can. But want ***** so insane never waste money on these warranties.

      I have never purchased a 3rd party warranty for ANYTHING, EVER! I always refuse because of previous experiences of my own or friends and familly. This was forced by the *********** Dealership that I bought my car at in *******. I am assuming that they are a one of a kind, special company because they went OVER and ABOVE to take care of EVERYTHING they said they would according to my contract. They worked swiftly and even ended up going to the shop where my car was to inspect and make sure the work they said needed to be done really was needing to be done. I am shocked and pleased beyond everything I have ever known about after market warranties that I would definitely recommending it to someone buying a used car with high miles. Best thing I was ever forced to do and they are shockingly amazing. The customer service was quick in all responses and all payments for service and reimbursements were quick. I would give them 10 stars if I could. They are definitely accredited by my experience over the past year with my vehicle. I ended up getting a new engine and turbo in my car while only paying part of the hourly labor rate that was over their approved amount and the sales tax that was charged. Out of pocket around $1000 for a $10,000 engine replacement. THANK YOU GSAN!!!!!

      I had my vehicle ONE year before it was totaled. Used the warranty once. Paid over ***** for it. Contacted them about a partial reimbursement and they denied it. ************.

      Mr. Morgan,

      Our records show we have paid a total of $2,996.10 in claims for your contract therefore there was no cancellation refund owed to you due to claims paid.  We used the calculation on the terms listed under the cancellation section of the agreement, a pro-rated amount of the Agreement Purchase Price, based on the greater days in force or miles driven based on a term of 5 years or 100,000 (one-hundred thousand) miles from the date of sale and mileage listed on page 1, less a seventy-five ($75) cancellation fee and where permitted by state law, less any paid claims. To determine the pro-rated refund the Contract term remaining in months was used and there was also $2996.10 in paid claims that were deducted from the calculation. If you would like to discuss further please call Customer Service.

      The day before the last day of our warranty period we were told by Gold Standard that we were good to file a claim the next day to replace our battery, which was covered by our contract. But the next day someone else at Gold Standard told us that our warranty had expired. This was in the middle of the day when there were still several hours before COB, close of business. Yes, that was the last day of the warranty period. But the warranty had not expired yet because the last day is included in the time frame the warranty is still good. They would not honor the warranty even though I was still within the terms of the contract. It is extremely frustrating.

      My A/C went out, and in March of this year I got a quote to get it fixed. The shop quoted me at about $3000. Gold Standard said they would pay $1500. The guy at the shop told me that if he used the parts Gold Standard wanted him to use the A/C was going to go out again real soon. I took it to another place and got a quote for $2800. I decided I would wait until I had money to fix it. Now, last week, at the end of August my truck wouldn't start. I took it to a shop and they said the siezed A/C unit was taking amps from the starter and the A/C needed to be fixed. The quote from Gold Standard expired so I had to get a new one. The shop again quoted it at $2800, and this time Gold Standard said they would cover $916. It is definitely not worth getting a warranty through Gold Standard. You are better off saving your money and putting it toward your vehicle if needed.
