    Amp Smart is a scam! As an elderly person, I have tried to cancel my service after having a 5 year contract, contacted them prior to end of contract and they continue to bill me. They perform predatory business practices and they never intend on letting you out of their contract. I will be pursuing this in court & possibly filing a class action lawsuit as so many have been affected by this company. My rating is "0" star rating for this company.

    I wish I could give this business 0 stars. Everything started out fine until I was ready to cancel. I have been given the run around for months while trying to cancel my plan every time I talk to them. They have an excuse on why they cannot cancel my plan only for today. For me to find out that I've been auto. Renewed into another 36 months program, the people overruled. Someone hung the phone up on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor and they are trying to lock me into another 36 months. I do not agree to this. I do not want to do business with this company. Anymore, do not give them your card information. Because they will continue to take money out of your account without your permission. And when you try to tell them no, you want to cancel, they'll try to persuade you. And tell you that you can't close your account. They are doing awful business.And i'm going to file a claim with an attorney.

    The companys customer service is terrible even after being with them for many years and always paying on time. They treat you disgracefully. I will be canceling my service by any means necessary.

    When I first had Amp Security 5 years ago I never had any issues. By email last March they put me under a new contract. They never said the new contract didnt have the warranty clause. That I had to pay an additional $10/month for the warranty or they will charge me $99 for additional service calls. I just got off the phone with their customer service and theyve increased that $10 to $25/month additional the the base monthly fee. The last technician they sent out didnt fix a thing and the company charge me $99 and the technician had an attitude just they have now. I told them they need to send another technician but not the last one they sent at no charge since the last one they sent out didnt fix a thing. They told me theyd send another one out, but it would cost me another $99. They wont cancel the contract unless I pay them an outrageous amount of money. Im about to see if I can get a lawyer to fix this issue. Their customer service and their technician service is extremely terrible. Ive been dealing with issues with them for the last six months. And they wont even let me out of the contract. So I guess Im going to have to get a lawyer. It might be cheaper that way. I suggest anybody who tries to take amp security as their household security to stop in your tracks and find something better.

    ************* - The contract amount was not honored and the terms were unreasonable. Equipment is out dated and fees to service were implemented which was unfair. They never provided excellent customer service nor do they intend to.

    Amp smart LLC a company that rip of customers after 5 years with them from 2020 to ************************************************************************************************************************************************** if I didnt read my contract if an inflation they have to increase the payment I need them to cancel asap I would not recommend them to anyone

    This company is a scam! They came to replace a sensor and said that it extended my contract by another 5 years because they added a warranty! Im paying $95/month for a 10 year old system! I never agreed to another 5 years! I will be reporting this to the attorney general!! I want to cancel!!!

    I can say I have stuck out my contract for 5 yrs and I had sent letter by mail. I sent it by priority mail it cost me $35.40, and it was sent back as return to sender unable to Forward. I called and was told I could send my letter for cancellation to the customer service email, and they would get back to me. No response as I have emailed them 2 times. No response to my email of cancellation. I have closed my bank account to stop them from taking the funds, I have let my bank know and showed them the letter sent back in May and my emails and the thing the bank stated was that I would need to close my one account and open another one so they can stop pulling from that account. This is very bad customer service, I had tried calling and was on hold and saying there was 1 caller in front of me, then it came back and stated no one here to take your call please leave a message. I tried again and stated I was 2 inline and then I get the message there is no one to take your call leave a message. I left message with my name and number. No call back. If there is ever a lawsuit against them, I will be right there. I feel they owe me for my time and mailing and my payments they took out after I sent my cancellation letter to them.

    we have been amp customers for years. never any real issues, but we had an alarm go off for some sort of faulty ssensor. my wife called and talked to someone about coming and doing a service. we have had them no show us 3 times. now we cant even get a answer via phone. we have not had service now for 2 months. we sure got billed for those months.
