      Inquired in person May 12th 2023 in regards to purchasing an ** from the business. Given estimates on pricing and provided $1000 deposit to initiate purchase. Ultimately purchase did not happen. May 18th I received a welcome email from Forest River Credit Card program stating I had a $14,000 credit line available to which I did not authorize nor have any knowledge to. May 19th I called & left two messages for sales manager ******* at *** Hoover to request a refund for the $1000 deposit and inquire about this credit card that had been opened. Did not receive a call back. May 20th I again contacted sales manager to obtain information to which call was forwarded to a mailbox. Immediately called back and advised I would hold the line as just days prior I was being contacted numerous times back to back to close the deal and now that I was not agreeing to terms was unable to speak to anyone. ******* took the call, stated he would have to have sales agent initiate refund process and when I questioned the forest river credit card account being opened he stated it was in attempt to get us approved for the *** but that no credit card was opened it was just a promotional offer and there was not in fact a $14,000 credit card opened. Stated I would likely get several letters in the mail as such. I advised this email states their is an online account so if so, this was not something I have authorized. He assured me there was no credit card opened and would have sales agent contact me to process a return. I have received a notification from equifax that this credit card was in fact added to my credit report. I have started dispute process through equifax but am extremely disappointed that this company opened this account without my authorization. The cost of the ** we inquired for was $42,000 and was advised the bank we were approved with was ************ This seems extremely fraudulent as many of their clientele are retired aged and likely dont monitor these things.

      Was told In store Financing was available and explained how to use ** in my property, Throw black water out in property let it dry out with sun, use a generator, take a 50 gallon water on back of truck. ******** knew I had no utilities on my property. My credit was emphasized that I did not want to lower my credit score with a hard Inquiry. ******** explained it was only in house financing. Down payment ****** and In store financingmade. Went to Cameron county to inquire to put up fence to protect my ** I was soon to pick up. All info from salesperson to use ** on property was illegal and against county codes. (Salesperson lived in same county explained this is how he does it and how to do it ) which was incorrect and subject to a fine if caught per code enforcement in county. Went back asked for my ****** down refund. Explained I cant even park the ** in my apartment parking lot either. Manager refused and then explained its ******* on a CC they pulled out on me and the ****** down I will lose if I dont take the **. CC was never mentioned on day of sale only In Store financing. I was given no choice to get a riding lawnmower to have something to show for the 4****** or walk away with nothing. Manager told me they dont have to tell me its a CC and thats how they always make their sales. I filed a dispute with CC company as well to investigate. ******** used his email address instead of mine on the CC application so I wouldnt be contacted. I had to change it to my email address and remove his when it was verified by operator ID# M45 from CC company. No where on any of my receipts I have it says its a CC ************ that financed me. Just Forest River that the salesman explained was the *** HOOVER financing because they are able to do that with all there stores all over *****************. I complained to someone higher and never got called back.I was mislead given a lawn mower over priced as well with no other choice.

      I went to Ron Hoover RV & Marines in *****, ** and I financed an RV they offered me insurance but I declined. They kept insisting on getting it and I had to accept. After 15 days I went to the location to cancel the insurance. They had told me that it was going to be reimbursed to the bank. I kept on checking the statements and it was not being reflected on my account. I went to the location about 3 times and also talked to two managers to resolve this issue. It has been four months and a half and this issue has not been resolved. Every month that passes I lose money in interest. I just want this to be resolved by giving me the reimbursement of the insurance plus the interest. The cost of the insurance is $3,599.99.

      i bought a steaming device from them on december 2022 and it stopped working within the warranty limit. i have tried over the span of 8 days to get in contact with a customer rep and i have not been able to. the customer service number is no longer accepting calls (regardless of the time listed in the website) and the chat function doesnt go past please wait while we transfer your chat to the next available agent.

      ******* la compra de un RV en el dealer ************** la fecha 8/17/22 el da 1/7/23 ise la cancelacin ala asegunza Route66 con un monto total$4002.98 a calificar para reembolso dicho reembolso sera regresado al banco donde se iso el prstamo de la compra del RV ***** third bank en un plazo mximo a 7 das la cual no sucedi dicha informacin dada por el banco ***** third,meses tratando de obtener respuestas y comunicarme con dicho dealer la fecha del 3/7/23 ubo nueva recancelacion segun ellos que en un lapso a no ms a 5 das dicho reembolso ho cheque sera enviado al banco ***** third la fecha ****** 3/31/23 al comunicarme con dicho banco confirmando no hay tal reembolso ho cheque de tal dealer he tratado de comunicarme textos llamadas idas presenciales con el dealer sin obtener respuesta alguna solo excusas tras excusas sin ninguna respuesta favorable solo no saben que esta pasando no esta su manayer ho no saben que desir y solo recibo ser ignorada y malos tratos ...problema #2 se iso otra compra igual realizada por recomendacin de ellos ala supuesta asegunza Gap ala que por error ellos reconocen error en su sistema no se realiz en su lugar fue comprada paint protection asegunza con un costo de$1,995 cosa que yo no ped al pedir cancelacin dicho por ellos no la pueden realizar ya que el dinero ya fue tomado por dicha compaa al solo darme respuesta que no tengo cobertura de Gap ni tampoco de paint proteccin ya que no se le aplico dicho pintura al RV solo fue cobrado por error de ellos sin solo dando respuesta de no poder aser **** por mi y a resignarme que ya perd el dinero respuesta dada por un empleado de dicho dealer **************

      Paid cash for a boat motor and trailer on 1-12-23 paid in full. After a run around about not having titles in their possession and waiting I was able to pickup the boat on 1-30-23. It's now 3-7-23 and I don't have titles or tags for anything. Boats useless sitting in my yard. After multiple text and calls I haven't even been given temporary tags. They let me take it home with previous owners license plates. Filing a complaint on 3-7 with Texas DMV for trailer (as were over 30 day time limit) and will file with TPWD if we hit *********************************************** here now after this boat purchase I won't return.

      It's been almost 2 years to get this response. *** Hoover is a scam of a dealer and I will warn everyone I can to stay far away from them.

      On December 12, 2022 I dropped a trailer that was purchased less than a year ago still under warranty due to equipment failure and the brakes catching on fire, it has now been almost a month and the service employee by the name of ****** (possibly *******) has been giving us the run around about getting the trailer fixed, claiming that AC Delco is not wanting to warranty it and they are going back and forth, this was not disclosed to me at the time of purchase, I was told they do all the warranty work, therefore I believe they are or have engaged in deceptive practices in regards to the warranty work, had I known this was going to be a problem I would not have purchased such low grade equipment, this is the 2nd time I have to take this trailer back for service. Considering this avenue before filing for a lemon law claim.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I was told the job was done, but about a year after that I decided to do the job myself as part of routine maintenance and to my surprise found out that My local *** Hoover had lied to me about doing the job and honoring the warranty work. I discovered the axles had the same burnt wheel bearings and races, my break wires were melted and not fixed, Im so lucky I didnt get into an accident because I was fooled that they had done the work after having it for so long, we took the trailer to several long out of state trips with the faulty unfixed parts, makes me never want to purchase anything through them again. I dont understand how they sell equipment they cant even safely and confidently work on in order to honor their warranty. We had no way to contact corporate as the numbers are very hard to find at that time and afterwards we were lied to and fooled into believing the job was done.       Had some damage to my trailer from a blowout dropped it off at *** Hoover RV of West ******* on July 12 (181 days ago). Was told it would take 4 to 6 weeks, here we are 26 weeks later and they have not completed the work. ** the service manager displays zero caring about such deplorable service.Completely Worthless.Do not become a hostage.

      Purchased end of August. We informed the business we were leaving ***** with RV to ****************, before we left the lot they removed the awning from the front of RV, and assured us the part would come in before my husband followed me up to **************** a month later. We called them on several occasions asking about the part, and when the part came in we would have someone locally in Washington install it. The part didnt come in until October 10th. We reminded them that their salesman and service writer knew we were in **************** and could they ship the awning to us. Employee ***** stated they would ship the part at our own personal cost for shipping. We stated that was not what we agreed on. We also have no hot water connection to our shower, on a 50K brand new RV. Once we tried to raise all the blinds out of 7 window blinds only 1 works, and 1 fell off the wall. We requested all these issues be fixed from their Service Manager ******, he stated they would not fix it unless we brought it back to ******** *****. We are 36 hour drive away from them. I requested a local Washington Forest River Wildwood dealer be contacted to honor their warranty agreement, they stated we would have to make a new claim and pay the new claim fee for repairs. This is unacceptable, we are under warranty and have no hot water, working blinds, or outdoor awning. All we want is for them to make this right and fix these repairs. My mother is 71 yrs old and we are having to carry a bucket of warm water from kitchen sink and bathing with a cup to wash ourselves in a 50K brand new RV. Its inhumane.
