The registered agent as service was cancelled for one the numerous companies I used this company for, yet I was billed and as I did not pay the bill for services cancelled, Swyft Filings has locked me out of our documents of all my companies.I have been trying to resolve for a year now, and can not get any communication with management, after leaving numerous messages and efforts to resolve.Business Response

I havent used this company services since 2020. You can see the only 3 invoices in the pics one from 2019, 1 from 2020 and now today 4 years later out of no where they charged me $894 for a service I havent used in 4 years. We have taken a look into your account and confirmed the charges of $894 for the registered agent subscription is valid and now paid in full. When the order for ************ was placed, the registered agent selection was chosen for Swyft Filings to appoint your business a registered agent to represent your business. At that time, we confirmed an ongoing subscription of $149 charged annually unless the registered agent was changed with the state to yourself or someone else who qualifies. The other option would be complete dissolution of the business. Checking the *** website, ******************* is still the representing registered agent appointed to your business.
Because this position is required, the subscription has been active and serving even though we have unsuccessfully drafted the funds for six consecutive years (2019 to 2024). A supervisor will reach out to you in order to clarify any concerns regarding the account.Initial Complaint

I opened my LLC in 2017 with swift filings. They quadrupled their pricing and Ive been trying to cancel since last year with no luck. I even tried to remove my payment information from my account which they also refuse to do. When I call they just say someone will call me back and they dont and when I email I just receive a message stating that they will call which they dont! How is this legal??? I do not want their services any longer and I want my payment information removed as soon as possible.Business Response

We understand that a price change on the subscription for the registered agent may not have been expected, but when the billing frequency was originally scheduled to be changed, there was an email sent out before the change happened.
In our Terms of Service, we also disclose that we have the right "at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time." If you are interested in changing the registered agent with the state, we can assist with that or you can do so directly with the state. From there, we will be able to cancel the Registered Agent subscription that was selected during the checkout process when the order was originally placed.

I purchased an Office Action through Trademark Engine to resolve an issue with my Trademark application. Swyft Legal received the notice to complete the service. The purchase was on 1/26/24 and my deadline is 3/23/24 to complete. To date, they have not made contact to complete the office action. They do not return any messages nor have they responded to any emails. There has only been one hone appointment that they called late. They have performed zero service and have not responded to multiple voice messages which their message states they will respond within 24 hours. They have responded to any emails as well.I can only contact customer support through Trademark Engine and they are not able to contact Swyft Legal either.I am told that I can only receive an email through Swyft Legal and I cannot ask for it since I cannot contact them.Business Response

Swift fillings continue to attempt to bill my credit card, in spite of my attempt for over 2 years to cancel my account. I have not used them, do not need their services, have tried to cancel on line many times, tried calling only to have my request ignored. During the checkout process, you are given the option to choose your own Registered Agent or allow us to provide the services for you. If ******************* is chosen as the appointed registered agent, the subscription that has been charging your account will continue to charge on its regularly scheduled timeline until the ** is changed with the state officially to yourself or someone else that you appoint OR if the business is voluntarily dissolved with the state officially via dissolution.
We checked with the Secretary of State's website and see that your business is still active with ******************* as the appointed **. A screenshot has been included to show proof of the *** website.
Please make the change with the state to reflect the registered agent change, and we can then go ahead and cancel out the subscription. Any refunds must fall within a 60 day window in order to qualify. They tried to bill me for services I did not order. I soke with them a few days after I noticed the extra charges and cancelled there services. They did refund the original 100$. As I said I spoke with them and and they had told me they cancelled all charges to me.. but they are still trying to take money out of my apple pay account after the fact. It's been almost 7 days since I cancelled everything And they have just last night on march 15 tried to bill me for the services I never even ordered..I .on a ******** page called cottage business. Swyft Filings has charged me multiple times for items I did not approve or order. They have filed my non-profit paperwork with incorrect information. They have stated that I requested their registered agent, when I already have one and supplied them with that information. They charged me for their registered agent and charged me for filings that have incorrect information on it. They are refusing to refund my money. I only approved a $89 and $50 charge and there are charges totaling $550 on my card. This business is A SCAM!! Avoid it at all costs. They should be shut down immediately!!Business Response

From our communication, we see that the order was submitted to the state as requested with no correspondence or requests for changes before the filing was submitted. Any customer that requests a change to their order before filing is put on hold so that we can make the necessary requested changes.
An email confirmation is sent to you after filing in order to confirm the selections during the checkout process reflect on your customer portal. You will find in this email that ******************* was selected to represent your business as the registered agent. The registered agent charge of $199 plus the package of $89 both cannot be refunded, but there are other charges that have not been utilized that can be refunded if you wish!

I paid for trademark services which is under ******************* operated by ************************. They have repeatedly tried to charge my card $199 for a service I did not elect for which is annual trademark monitoring services. When you go to the website there is no way to cancel when you call the number they redirect you to a 520 number that does not go to anyone you leave a message and they never call back. They collected $799 from me and there is no way to follow up, there has been no email correspondence and no update on my trademark registration. To clarify, the basic package is $0 plus the state fee of $50 which is required to be paid at the time of placing your order. The remaining $184 comes from add on services that were selected to be added during the checkout process. These are not required and do not have to be added during checking out, but because they were added, we did charge the amount of $234. This amount is disclosed and shown before payment to confirm the customer is aware of what is being charged to their card.
The $70 is for another product that was selected to be added to your order and because this payment failed when checking out. we requested the payment again so that you would receive the service that you so desired.Your order is currently on hold so that we can sort out your billing questions and make sure that you have a full understanding of what was ordered. Because the order is still on hold and under review, we can go ahead and cancel/refund anything that you wish before filing with the state. Thank you!

they are crooks. so far they have stolen over $100 from my credit card. 8 letters later, still no refund, they are stalling. they billed me for a service i never ordered and didnt want, but there was no way to opt out. there were many red flags when i placed my order, so i should have been more suspicious. there were 18 attempts to upsell me on stuff i didnt want. even after i let them know i will be reporting them to delaware authorities, they persist in evasion and fraud. they are hiding behind the address info@swyftfilings. i want to know the actual names of the individuals who are writing me these letters.Business Response

Regards,If they had done that refund after my first or second letters, that would have been fine. But it took 9 emails and 3 complaints. they refunded one fee that they had stolen from me, but I will have to review my records to see if there are other fees still in dispute. they are still spamming me after I made it clear that I will never do business with them. I think they are stealing from others and not just me; I simply happen to be the one person who won't put up with it. the only reason I am still accepting their unwanted emails is to continue to build a case record. I want reasonable compensation for my time, my bank fees, and any related expenses.
I understand bbb is a toothless tiger and won't really do anything, but as I told them I am just getting warmed up.
they stole from my church, which offends me, and then they didn't promptly fix it. so now i'm going to need more than just a refund.
by the way this web site design needs work. as a senior citizen with limited vision, the text is too small to read, but if I make the page bigger it cuts off part of the text.
